L-Pavilion 6 - 6 persons

Not the best place to stay (was there with a family, 2 kids included) even it is budget, it is more like a short overnight stay while on a long road trip..but not meant for more than 2/3 days..poor infrastructures and quite some stuff are damaged or in bad condition (not everything is well maintained), no activities at all (while staying in August, why, how come?!) very small indoor swimming pool, a ghost park where there is almost no people (looks like the park is getting at the end of his life..) , next to highway (too much traffic so lot of background sound) reception closes super early (at 17h, like the indoor playground and indoor swimming pool very sadly). House was ok but not confy & shame the houses are too close to each other, most of the houses are on sold (guess the park is dying!) Only 4 positive points to mention : Staff is however friendly, sport field is nice for kids ( nice football and basketball field), and large outdoor swimming pool (next to an outdoor baby pool) with long chairs in an open air place, the restaurant (an absolute savor in this park!) which serves really tasty food not too expensive and staff is also very friendly (really recommend it despite its limited open hours).
In general, I won’t come there again for sure.

You couldn't really grab a quick bite at the restaurant at lunchtime; you had to get ice cream at the front desk; there were a lot of regular park guests.

Quietly situated along the water. A peaceful and well-kept park. Definitely worth a visit.

We’re staying in Pavilion 4. It’s right in the center, so everything is within easy reach. We have a great view of the small harbor. It’s quiet (except when the AC is running 😅). There’s a small electric fireplace and everything else you need. There’s also a small roll of toilet paper at the front desk, as well as a dishwasher cleaning tablet. I recommend either bringing your own towels or booking them right away. Everyone is very friendly. No one here speaks German yet, but even with just a little basic English, you’ll get by just fine. There are plenty of things to do. You won’t get bored. But we’re just getting started.

We booked a weekend stay for August 14–16 with four people and two dogs.
Unfortunately, the person who made the reservation had forgotten her passport or driver’s license.
We were asked for it at check-in.
Well, we saw this coming.
The woman at the front desk told us we couldn’t check in and had to go home to get the ID.
That’s a 3-hour round-trip drive. We found it quite surprising that this was the best advice she could offer.
The woman at the front desk wouldn’t budge and refused to help us any further.
Even a copy of the passport on our phone wasn’t acceptable.

We asked why we had to show it. The answer was that otherwise fraud could be committed, and if a fire broke out, they’d know who was in the cottage. We, as fellow guests, didn’t have to show anything. That’s quite strange—doesn’t our name matter in the event of a fire?!

In short, it was a very unfriendly and stiff customer service experience, and we were sent home.
Unfortunately, the weekend didn’t turn out as we expected; we had also rented a boat for the weekend, and we hope to be able to cancel that as well.

All in all, yes, we should have brought our ID, but the customer experience was very poor—even the security guard adopted a very domineering attitude that frightened me.

EuroParcs… learn how to treat customers and be flexible sometimes; don’t always stick to the rules. According to Airbnb, a copy was more than enough.

Will we ever go back there?

We’re waiting for an apology from EuroParcs.

Bodde på en hytte der 3 netter, helt ok, men rengjøring i hytten kunne vært bedre, mye støv under senger etc. åpningstider på baseng og lekeområdet var også ikke så bra, når en er ute hele dagen på aktiviteter, og kommer tilbake på ettermiddagen da ungene kunne trenge å gjøre noe gøy på plassen så er alt stengt.
