Vakantiepark Delftse Hout boasts an excellent location: surrounded by nature, adjacent to a recreational area with forest and lake, yet within walking distance of Delft city centre (approximately 15 minutes). Guests are particularly enthusiastic about the brand-new, ultra-modern sanitary building with spotless showers and toilets, family bathrooms and a spectacular Delft blue tile wall featuring Vermeer's 'View of Delft'. Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful and service-oriented. The campsite offers spacious pitches, a swimming pool, restaurant, shop with freshly baked bread and good bike rental, and serves as an ideal base for trips to Rotterdam, The Hague and Scheveningen.

    Very disappointing—no services whatsoever for travelers passing through
    ​We are extremely disappointed by the inflexibility and unfriendliness of the on-site staff. We politely asked if we could simply dispose of our gray water and refill with fresh water for a fee (a reasonable amount). Although we explained that we were passing through in our … 7.40-meter-long RV and that disposal at our destination in Den Bosch wasn’t possible due to the vehicle’s size, we were flatly denied the service—even for a fee, there was absolutely no willingness to help.
    ​Mutual support is actually what the RV community is all about. I have rarely encountered such an uncooperative attitude toward travelers on my trips. Anyone hoping for flexibility, service, or basic friendliness has come to the wrong place here.

    ​Wir sind maßlos enttäuscht über die Unflexibilität und Kundenunfreundlichkeit des Teams vor Ort. Wir haben höflich angefragt, ob wir gegen Bezahlung (einen angemessenen Obolus) lediglich unser Grauwasser entsorgen und Frischwasser auffüllen dürfen. Obwohl wir erklärt haben, dass wir mit unserem 7,40 m langen Wohnmobil auf Durchreise sind und die Entsorgung am Zielort in Den Bosch aufgrund der Fahrzeuggröße nicht möglich ist, wurde uns der Service strikt verwehrt – selbst gegen Gebühr gab es keinerlei Hilfsbereitschaft.
    ​In der Camper-Community zählt eigentlich gegenseitige Unterstützung. Eine so unkooperative Haltung gegenüber Reisenden habe ich auf meinen Touren selten erlebt. Wer auf Flexibilität, Service oder grundlegende Freundlichkeit hofft, ist hier an der falschen Adresse.

    Beautiful campground with spacious sites.
    The staff at the front desk were friendly, and check-in was super fast. It was also nice that they gave us some informative brochures right away.
    The restroom building is practically brand-new and looks modern. There are a good number of toilets, wash stations, showers, and dishwashing areas, all of … which look spotless.
    The restrooms are kept very clean. During cleaning, only one section is closed off at a time, so you can always access the facilities.
    The center of Delft is a 5-minute bike ride from the campground. And what a lovely city it is!
    The Delftse Hout is even closer. Great for swimming, but also for a nice walk.
    We were there in early September. The campground was practically full, but the atmosphere was peaceful. Lovely :-)

    Mooie camping met royale plekken.
    Vriendelijke ontvangst op de receptie en de intake ging supersnel. Ook leuk dat je meteen wat informatieve foldertjes meekrijgt.
    Het sanitairgebouw is zo goed als nieuw en oogt modern. Verhoudingsgewijs veel wc's, wascabines, douches en afwasplekken die er ook allemaal perfect uitzien.
    Het sanitair wordt goed schoongehouden. Tijdens de schoonmaak wordt steeds maar een gedeelte afgesloten, dus je kunt er altijd terecht.
    Het centrum van Delft ligt op 5 minuutjes fietsen van de camping. En wat een leuke stad is dat!
    Het Delftse Hout ligt nog veel dichter bij. Leuk om te zwemmen, maar ook om lekker te wandelen.
    Wij waren er begin september. De camping stond zo goed als vol, maar er heerste een rustige sfeer. Lekker :-)
