The park is beautifully situated in a wooded, peaceful setting and offers modern lodges with ample space. Guests appreciate the central location for trips to Utrecht, Amsterdam, and Amersfoort, as well as the facilities including a pool with slide, playgrounds, and daily children's animation. The friendly reception staff are frequently mentioned, along with the convenience of parking directly at your lodge. At the same time, cleanliness in many accommodations falls short: guests report dirty dishes, stains on walls and bathrooms, and worn bedding. The accessibility of reception and inconsistent opening hours of the restaurant and snack bar also cause frustration, as does the absence of air conditioning during warm periods.

I had a very disappointing experience at this holiday park. The staff were very unfriendly and unwelcoming. When we arrived at our accommodation, it was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned properly. Furthermore, there is not much to do in the immediate area, and it was highly inconvenient that there was no grocery shop on-site to buy basic essentials. There was some extreme basic stuff in reception, but it would not be conciderate grocery store. I would not recommend staying here. Also bed linen are not include or towels and there is also tourist tax on stay (latter bit is not uncommon, but we were not made aware on site we booked on). There is also to mention no aircondition in the stay. When we travelled it was too hot in the cabin/home, almost unberable.

We stayed in a 6-person cottage, in a prime location close to the pool and reception (it costs a bit, but you get what you pay for). I was able to park the car right next to the cottage (in our case, a van). The cottage was nicely furnished with plenty of storage space and everything we needed. The cottage is well-equipped, including a fridge-freezer combo with a fairly large freezer compartment 🙂 The kitchen has a modern layout. The bathroom had a good, enclosed shower (so no water everywhere) and a toilet (the cottage has two toilets, both with exhaust fans). It got quite warm at times, but that wasn’t much of a problem in the cottage (we just kept the curtains closed during the day). We stayed in the cottage as a family of four. The pool isn’t very large but is big enough for a nice swim, and the slide was fun. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue, the pool was closed for about two days, but that can happen. From the park, you can also enjoy cycling on a regular bike, road bike, or mountain bike. The Henschoterplas is within walking distance. Other than that, we didn’t experience any issues, so we just enjoyed our little spot for 8 days 🙂
The fries at the cafeteria were great 👍
P.S., if you don’t want to be too far from the facilities, just make a preferred booking—that way you can pick your own spot and won’t have anything to complain about 😉 (well, that does cost money, though 🙄) Besides, complaining about not having AC is obviously absurd. I’ve never seen this kind of cottage or bungalow at these kinds of vacation parks with AC 😅 And yes, I’ve been in one of these cottages when it was 40 degrees in Limburg—just keep everything closed and take it easy.this is a translation, click here for the original

I'm staying in a tiny house (1152)—so simply finished, yet cozy and fully furnished.
I'd especially like to mention the front desk, which has helped me out wonderfully and been so accommodating on several occasions—the park should be so proud of receptionists like these!!!!!!!this is a translation, click here for the original

The linens beddings pullow cases are too expensive to pay extra and on top of the expensive room rates... No toilet rolls and towels are provided and we even need to clean the apartment too.
