A friendly campsite on a human scale, a real treat for children and the family in a beautiful region (clean, well-kept campsite).

Welcoming reception at check in. But the hygiene is very poor, I'm talking about bathrooms and where there is the possibility to wash dishes.

We were lucky to get a last-minute lodge – and the staff was incredibly friendly, both on the phone and in person. Everyone made us feel really welcome and taken care of. The lodge itself was beautiful, very cozy, and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen – though a blender would be a nice addition. The hot tub was a real highlight, and the garden was lovely too. For our taste, a bit more privacy would have been nice, as it’s a bit open to the outside in some spots. Perfect place for families: there’s a great nature-inspired playground, a beautiful public pool right next door, and an easy-to-use bike rental system via app. We felt super comfortable and would love to come back – maybe even for a longer stay next time!

The most expensive campsite on our trip, 49 euros without toilet paper and without access to the lake. But very quiet as almost no guests.

Können den Campingplatz sehr empfehlen. Die Lage und die Stellplätze sind toll. Einzig die Sanitäranlagen dürften in der Hauptsaison etwas gepflegter sein, meistens roch es sehr unangenehm und war mässig sauber. Ansonsten gefiel es uns super und wir kommen gerne wieder.

But not that either. Of course something can always go wrong but how it is resolved the service is only worth 1 star

We have been 2 weeks at Hvalpsund family camping. We came in our own caravan and we have been fully satisfied... We have enjoyed the 2 weeks. The staff are super nice. Cleaning in top. Really nice quiet and calm campsite, with pitches for everyone.... Close to facilities. Pool/area really nice. And a cafe where you can enjoy your food inside, outside or under a canopy overlooking the pool. Yes we really only have good things to say. So if you are looking for a place where you dare to let the kids play freely. And where it is quiet and calm. Then we would definitely recommend Hvalpsund family camping...

After many years to have been the price quality ratio is completely skewed and that is reflected in recent years how empty the campsite is in high season Reception what is actually face of the campsite are all unfriendly people Port you can only use the tap at certain times Sanitary cabins are already 20 years the same and sanitary cabins at the most expensive places to water is scandalous an outdated construction shack and that is called paradise places??? Reservation made but unfortunately our place was occupied Whole discussion with the manager who showed no understanding but even became very angry.... Too bad that camping has deteriorated so much in recent years What you see back to how empty the campsite is now end of July and also the vacancy of many cottages Nothing personal anymore and far too expensive for what is offered Camping Cikat is better alternative!
