Have reserved a place for our camper and put up a tent and now have to pay extra for the tent cheeky rip-off

Top camping very much enjoyed

Were at this campsite at the end of June. By phone and booked, on arrival, friendly staff, had to pay 140,- Euro for three nights. At our reserved place, it appeared to be too small for our Caravan, back to the Reception, and could look further, with mostly multiple places, these were not really big, and uneven ground, mostly gravel, or sandy ground. Finally, the better from the bad taken, you had little privacy, and there was no tap water, and drain, this you had to walk to the Dishwashing facility, was no special bin for this kind of waste water. Also a drain for the toilets from the caravan were not visible, the washing facility was far away from the place, about 100 meters walk, and very dark, and only scanty of light. Broadcast only stayed one night, and signed out, but were our 140,- lost, no alternative, and despite our objections, were not heard. Afterwards we understood that they do their bookings through Booking.com, this is lately quite negative in the news. No more Utopia for us, maybe a recommendation for the Boy Scouts, they can thrive at this very dated Campground. It is a pity that the owner has to rely on his or her findings. We were forced to contact by phone, so information about the Camping was, for that moment not indirectly available, and I read no information about the Camping, so looked through ACSI, judging by his experiences!!! The staff is very friendly, but after a journey of 250 km you are not immediately accurate, and were happy with a place, and had absolutely no preference indicated! After our payment, we went looking for a place, he or she could have also said, please look around, and not as we had experienced, we had to pay immediately at the reservation..... Again no criticism, but rather a signal, how it can be done. I maintain the pitches are very uneven, and in some places very small, and we had indicated that we had a large Caravan, so yes how so !!!! look at a photo in the attachment on the site, very unclear. Simple campground in a nice location. Sanitary facilities are neat and clean. Space for washing dishes could be more extensive.

We stayed in a mobile home for 12 days. The mobile home was brand new and comfortable. The location was perfect, except for the beeping of the air conditioning outside which was very unpleasant, especially at night.but otherwise TOP.a really competent, pleasant and always smiling entertainment team.Roxanne was the real plus of this team.well done to them for all their entertainment and cheerfulness. We had a great stay. On the other hand, we would like to draw your attention to the restaurant! Pitiful. Very unpleasant and overworked staff. We had several drinks, and the glasses were wet and dirty. The tables were dirty too. We had dinner, dry burger with burnt top bun... undercooked fries, dirty cutlery (we had to send 3 pieces of cutlery back to the kitchen)... the 9€ ice creams are very small..dirty green salad... Hygiene is really deplorable! When you go to the toilet, which is also dirty, you come across two large dogs playing with their toys in the room next to the restaurant's kitchens. The smell of dog and dirt is really unacceptable for a restaurant. Unfortunately... the restaurant is the black spot of this campsite. The campsite is pleasant and relaxing, and the entertainment team is a real plus... but the restaurant is to be avoided! The health authorities should really check them out!

Review of Wecamp Reserva Alecrim If you’re looking for true peace and quiet, far away from any tourist hotspots, Wecamp Reserva Alecrim might be exactly what you need. The location is incredibly serene – even if the camp were fully booked, it would still feel calm and uncrowded. Perfect for anyone seeking nature, space, and relaxation. That said, the camp definitely has potential to offer more than it currently does. Regarding the accommodation: everything essential was provided. The Wi-Fi worked well, the TV was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the terrace was impressively spacious. However, the kitchen could have been better equipped – for example, we missed a basic item like a spatula. Also, there were a few ants, but nothing that ruined the experience. The property includes three swimming pools, all of which were great – especially for kids, who would definitely enjoy them. The biggest downside was the restaurant. The food portions were simply too small for the prices charged – that was disappointing. Overall, for the price we paid, the stay was fine and we would consider coming back. Note: A car is absolutely essential – there’s really no alternative way to get here.

Will be a very nice campsite, but from experience there are 2 campsites under the same name. If you see the campsite Les Bouleaux in the Ardennes on google maps on the map and then look up the campsite on the internet and the only one you see is the campsite Les Bouleaux in France, book it because it is not clearly mentioned, then it turns out that at the campsite in the Ardennes you do not get in. Logical of course, but after explaining the problem there was no question of great service. Nothing could be arranged and it was my stupid fault, I had to come to France or pay again in the Ardennes, and this while the different locations of the campsites are not clearly mentioned, besides, the campsites are from the same company. I found the service disappointing, because the response was anything but empathetic and understanding and I felt like a handout. I was very disappointed in the contact, again, I am sure the campsite will be very nice
