Was now 2 days on the PLatz I no longer need the pitches are with sand there you have everything in the motorhome no thanks there I know other places with 3 stars are better

Great campsite. Many pitches but so organized that it is not a problem. Lots of shady spots. (Also places without trees) Plumbing is new, water is just hot even at peak times. Wc's for the men what little at our cubicle at peak times. Everything is cleaned every 2 hours. Great beach, beds you have to pay for but you can also bring your own chairs. Clear water, good for snorkeling. Price at the campsite not excessive. Pool size fine for 2/3 of the number of places.

Very nice campsite, but also very spacious. Too big for small children, in my opinion. The mobilehome was very clean. Everything worked.

Quiet vacation in a superb setting, very pleasant staff. A great family vacation!

Mid-August 2025: We stayed here for 2 nights with our caravan. The site offers both sunny and shady pitches, the sanitary facilities are adequate and in good condition. We received a friendly welcome and were satisfied with the service. The proximity to the city is a strong plus point for the site, but they also charge a lot for it. It was by far the most expensive stay at a campsite for us. We have already traveled to many destinations in France and have often stayed much better for fewer euros, but this may also be due to the fact that we were still on the site during the peak season.

Egy kicsit nekem zsúfolt, de mi csak egy napot maradtunk. Szép a strand rész. A szemelyzet viszont nagyon kedves. Illetve kaptunk szelektív hulladékokhoz külön külön zsákokat, ilyet más kempingben még nem tapasztaltam. :D

Our third year at De Zandstuve, after skipping two years due to moving. We were always great fans and ambassadors. What a fantastic campsite De Zandstuve was, truly unique in its kind! The musical was super, the animation sublime, the range of entertainment for children of different ages downright fantastic. Unfortunately, since 2025, all this is no longer the case. Last year the campground apparently made very different choices. Invested a lot in a new restaurant, so unfortunately the other restaurant has less offer on the menu and has deteriorated in quality. The animation is far below par these days. There is nothing for older children, unlike previous years. The musical is gone and the professional animation has been replaced by a group of benevolent, perhaps sweet and enthusiastic young people who clearly have their first jobs here. For activities you have to register via the app, which worked well for years. Now suddenly you have to register via the app and then also go in person and register again, only to find out on the day itself that the activity is full but you "can still watch". Very unfortunate, especially when it is the only activity that is also fun for older kids (11 years old). The shows have degenerated into a mini-playback show with songs that at most the parents know. "Super boring," said our son. Whereas he was just eager to go to the Zandstuve and participate in the entertainment. There were also always many more forest activities. Despite the good weather now only had 2 (1 for ages 7+). A lot has been invested in technology (the app needed to open the private bathroom for example) but with no working wifi and no range so it doesn't work.... The wifi is said to have improved but still does not work at the pitch. The store is reduced in size with very limited assortment. Actually not enough to do decent breakfast. You can order sandwiches in advance, but they are then put in paper (open) bags outside the store. Ready for children to sit on, sneeze into, wasps crawl into...yuck. Alas, having been big fans of The Zandstuve we must now conclude: De Zandstuve is certainly still very nice if you have very young children (up to about 7 years old), but is in no way better or distinctive from other campsites in the Netherlands anymore. What's more, with this policy they are quickly overtaken by Capfun campsites (where facilities such as swimming pool are often more extensive) and by many Ardoer campsites (where the animation is at least as good as the current Zandstuve standard). Very unfortunate all around and we are hugely disappointed. Had we known about these changes we certainly would not have booked again this year. No, Zandstuve is great with young children, but certainly no longer unique. With older children (10+ years) I would never go here again. We also end up breaking up the vacation earlier because everything is "really not fun and very boring," according to the kids. Too bad, in hindsight we would have been better off keeping the good memories than adding this bad experience. We hope the Zandstuve still manages to turn the tide.

Amazing experience. Just a rude waitress when we ordered a pizza on our first day. But at the rest of our stay the staff was nice.

Terribly bad service. We drove 5 hours because everything was arranged. When we arrived there was a very convex woman with black/gray hair who treated us very anti-socially. So definitely not recommended

What a great discovery this campsite is! Perfectly located and with a very quiet and cozy atmosphere. 100% recommendable if you are looking for a place to go to disconnect and enjoy nature. Les piscines meravelloses i el menjar del restaurant molt bo.

We had an excellent stay at Huttopia Wattwiller. The setting is soothing, in osmosis with the natural environment, with pitches spaced out and not overlooked. Thanks to the whole team for their warm welcome at breakfast, the bar and the restaurant, and to the entertainment team who put on great activities for young and old! We highly recommend it!
