It is not a bad campaging, however, much more than that it is not either. The location in itself is not so bad, close to downtown, stores and restaurant all nearby (walking distance) but the layout of the campground is pretty boring. The pitches are spacious enough, but very close together, without any bushes, hedges or fences in between. The layout is poor, it's really simple grass rows / strips directly opposite each other, so close together that you just can not eat with the fork at your neighbors of the plate can prick. Because it is so close together even a 'very small' amount of privacy is not present. The campsite itself does not have a store where you can buy fresh bread and spreads in the morning. Instead, a van from a nearby bakery comes to the campsite and stops right in front of your pitch where you can buy a roll. But (here is also a but). 1. the van comes with a loud bell across the campsite and so a day's sleep is not possible. 2. it only comes around 10 o'clock so if you want to have an early breakfast, it's of little use and you still have to walk to the bakery. Fortunately, that bakery is only a 5-minute walk away. The plumbing is standard, enough toilets and showers so you usually have a space right away. The plumbing is pretty standard and 'reasonably' clean. Here's the next 'but', the dishwashing sinks hang outside under the roof, but the dishwashing water is usually lukewarm to cold, which causes you to not get your greasy stuff clean. The showers work on a motion sensor that works poorly and turns off very quickly. Also in the showers the water is only barely warm and the area of the showers is quite cold, so you especially notice when the shower turns off so quickly and you spend several minutes waving your hand in front of that sensor to get it back on (😬with shampoo in your hair). *(one of the sensors is so bad, it works once or twice when you enter and then not at all, there you are with your wet body, covered in shampoo, without water, hoping that the cubicle next to you is free and you can quickly change unseen). There is also a small restaurant at the campsite, we have not been here, but we heard from other guests that we have not missed anything, because it would not be very good. Swimming pool I do not know, I have not been in. Playground for children simple, but okay. In summary I can say: The campsite is okay, but with the many buts / shortcomings / defects it is a lot too high in the price they ask, hence my **2 stars**. . .

We left again after 2 days. The paths to the "dog beach" are abnormally long as they are at the far end of the campsite. But you can't really swim there either. All the activities on this campsite cost extra - a lot extra. Given the not necessarily low rental price, I don't expect to have to pay another €50 for a water bouncy castle for 2 children. The icing on the cake was that we had to pay for the sun loungers by the pool. This no longer has anything to do with family camping, but milking the tourists wherever possible. The wash houses were full of bird droppings and stank. Bread rolls, coke and souvenirs are outrageously expensive. And a nuisance like in many other places: All the children, mostly aged 6 and over, who chase around the squares on their e-scooters in pairs, completely insane and without consideration. 2 stars because: - check-in was quick and uncomplicated - and because we got part of our deposit back as we left early.

We got the so-called "wild camping" where there are no fire pits and no clearly marked sites. Meanwhile there is a lake nearby and loads of fire extinguishers. First time in my life camping when I could not make a fire. Pathetic. And it is more expensive than the average tent site too. The place overall is very nice and workers are nice, but they nickle and dime you every little thing. The no fire this is the real deal breaker here though. Never again.

We'd like to say that the Escale du Pertuis team is exceptional. As far as entertainment is concerned, we have rarely seen such a dynamic, close-knit, friendly team whose obsession is the well-being of holidaymakers. The shows on offer were of exceptional quality and not formatted as is often the case at other campsites. The freedom of expression of all the actors and actresses, who are part of the entertainment team, means that the shows are lively, interactive and give us unforgettable moments. The way they let go without taking themselves too seriously means that these shows are of a professional quality for which we would not hesitate to buy tickets to go and see them in a theater. Finally, a special message for Charly, in charge of the entertainment, and for Cyril, the unique director who leads his team with incredible benevolence. It almost makes you want to be part of this team. Thank you so much for giving us such a great 2-week vacation. See you soon. Les manceaux.

Highly recommended campsite with large pitches. Sanitary facilities are quite ok and clean. The beach is very nice and clean. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed, but if you go without, nobody says anything against it.

We had rented an L-Cube. Everything was new and very nicely furnished. Some of the equipment was (still?) missing, e.g. toilet towel hooks, darkening in the open bathroom (so it wasn't dark in the bedroom). According to the description there were two bathrooms, but there was only one toilet. We had booked an extra package to get toiletries. This package was very poor considering the high price, e.g. two dishwasher tabs for a week. The beds were not made up, although we had booked this separately with an extra charge. Someone only came in the evening and did this very creatively, see photo. There is a washing machine and a dryer, unfortunately the use does not work well. The slips of paper for entry sometimes disappear and often the reservation is not adhered to or other people's laundry is simply taken out of the machine. Otherwise, the complex is very well maintained and really very nice, right on the water and in beautiful surroundings. It's worth renting a boat and going to Leiden, for example. Unfortunately, the complex is located directly under a flight path from Schiphol Airport, one of the largest airports in Europe. Certainly very interesting for airplane lovers, but for us it was a bit annoying that every 1-2 minutes an airplane flew past at low altitude from about 5 o'clock in the morning until late at night.

To be avoided 1 week in August. We don't know where to start: already the accommodation horrible no space a living room to make a bed very difficult and the quality of the cushions in several pieces that are not even flat to do and undo every meal because impossible to enjoy the terrace outside because is infected with wasps as soon as you eat. Very small fridge wedged between the doors accessible only to children or thin women because the door opens the wrong way. Shower not hot. The kitchen is horrible because it's outside, so you have to spend hours cooking because you're down with the wasps and the fires go out as soon as there's a bit of wind, and all the cooking utensils are just pots and pans, so everything sticks to the meat, so cooking is disgusting. To boil water in large pots takes about 45 minutes, and when you're done you have to eat inside because millions of wasps are attacking you. The air-conditioning only cools the living room, so you have to leave the bedroom open with outside noise and mosquitoes galore, along with ponds and a donkey that sings either at night or in the morning. So much for accommodation with an outside kitchen, to be avoided! Next, the campsite is just as bad for a 3-star campsite with a star on the sign that has now disappeared: not a very friendly welcome for some, no information provided. The new swimming pools are fine, except that the Jacuzzis don't work, and you have to pay 3€ per person for a swimming cap if you don't, and the lifeguards will kick you out. The deckchairs at the pool also cost money (an unheard-of first), and if you don't, you'll have to lie on the grass, which is disgusting, and the instructors' whistle closes at 6:45pm, not 7pm. The soccer and tennis facilities are horribly broken and impracticable, so there's no paying loan of balls or rackets because they don't want any accidents, nothing to do with the photos. No evening entertainment because nothing was announced. The entertainment is not advertised and takes place in an isolated area in the sand with a few plastic chairs. What's more, hardly anyone takes part. So we hope we haven't forgotten anything, the campsite doesn't make you want to come back at all, we were very disappointed and it wasn't a good family vacation because the family got into trouble over the accommodation obstacle course and the campsite where there's nothing to do and no rest or sleep ... one of the only campsites in all of Europe where we'll never come back ... at an exorbitant price and disgusted.

In the heart of the mountains, a quiet and very pleasant campsite. Mobile homes are a little old-fashioned and not always spotlessly clean. 2h30 from Salzburg, Vienna, Bad Ischl. 3/4 hour from the Red Bull circuit. This region is really beautiful!

Wonderful campsite where we have been coming for years with our own tent: - Good facilities, including a swimming pool - lovely cafe - Super location in beautiful surroundings - in South Limburg is always much to see and do. Camping in Limburg, go to camping Vinkenhof. On to the next visit!
