Beautiful location on the cliffs, quiet, great and cozy central building, huge meadow for kite flying, a nice village for shopping attached, lots of nature for extensive walks! We extended from the original 2 to 4 nights! Very nice team! Thank you!

We had chosen the Scandinavian chalet because then the dog could come with us and we wanted some privacy and on the outside it also looked cozy. But inside very dated...that was a setback. The park is large and has a cozy atmosphere. Beautifully set up with different accommodation options. And as we saw still in positive development. We had rented 2 bikes here but poor quality old electric bikes that could use a service and little choice, Bikes were very uncomfortable for bike tours. So if can better bring your own bike. For children plenty to do like swimming in natural water with playground and slide. Fishing and much more. I missed a playground for the dog and since there is plenty of water there it would have been nice that the dog could also play in the water somewhere. The dog could paddle in the lake for a while though. Other than that, we still had a pretty nice vacation and so did the dog. Beautiful surroundings. Greetings natasja landegent

Mooie omgeving. Groetjes natasja landegent

Very disappointing - no recommendation! We had booked 2 premium places and were looking forward to a nice stay, but unfortunately almost everything was disappointing: On arrival, the lady at reception was apparently totally overwhelmed. When we book 2 pitches with the same name, you assume that they are next to each other. This wasn't the case at the beginning and we had to find two seats next to each other ourselves. Funnily enough, this worked out quite quickly. Apparently there is no overview of this at reception. When booking, there is a €50 service charge per pitch - for what? According to the internet, we were supposed to receive a welcome gift when we arrived with our dog - but there wasn't one, and there was no bin for dog waste bags anywhere on the site. The garbage can at reception was always full. So we had to walk the entire dog walk in the morning with a poop bag in our hands. No water connection on the pitch, even though Premium was booked. Dirt everywhere: there had been a tampon on the roadside since our arrival. This was apparently removed on the 3rd day. We are talking about 10m in front of the site exit/ -entrance- where employees constantly drive past with their golf caddies. Sanitary facilities: Large, but dirty. Toilets soiled with paper, apparently blocked. There was a single soap dispenser for all toilets - unfortunately empty. There were no plugs at the sinks. Cleaning staff were seen entering the washrooms. The lady cleaned one toilet and was no longer to be seen afterwards. The other toilets were still full of hair, toilet paper and dirt at 6:30 in the morning, as were the showers. Playground dangerous: slide broken, crawling tunnel with cracks where children's hands could get trapped. A bar was missing from the climbing frame - apparently rusted through. The entertainment team sat on the beach eating pizza while the children painted. The entertainers' job was therefore to set up the children's table, put down pencils and sheets of paper and play with their cell phones. The children's disco in the evening was quite good. There is no WLAN at all - instead you can buy an additional SIM card for €10 (10 days). This should be standard for a 4-star campsite. Empty pitches despite high season - that says a lot. We cannot recommend this campsite at all and will definitely not be back. Positive: the restaurant at the main entrance was very tasty. One day before our departure, there was a heavy fire in the evening and the whole site suffered a power cut. This remained the case until the morning. In the early morning, an extremely loud power generator was set up, which hummed continuously from 10-17:00 and emitted exhaust fumes. In the meantime, the power house had to be cleared of overgrown hedges and a new unit installed. Maintenance and care of the entire system does not seem to be a top priority here.

We were traveling with two tents and a camper, drove past here spontaneously in the high season and were even able to choose pitches. The pitches are quite large compared to what you usually get on the Italian coast. Very simple pitches, some with trees, some slightly sloping but with water on site. Three sanitary blocks, also very basic but always clean. There is a nice little hiking trail right along the coast, really great with kids. One star deduction for the high price in view of the simple facilities. Conclusion: Perfect for 2-3 days.

Fazit: Für 2-3 Tage völlig in Ordnung.

Advantages: Facility is very well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Sanitary very clean and is constantly maintained. Market place, stores and restaurants are great if you are prepared to pay the prices. Short distances and close to town (cab boats to and from town). Pool looks clean and fairly new, but we didn't use it. Cons: Size of pitches is not as described - e.g. Comfort Mare 70-90m² is actually 50m² or smaller. There is barely enough space for a caravan (8m) with awning or awning - you have to park your car outside. The access to the pitches is very narrow. The beach is very narrow and public, so there is hardly any space - sometimes very dirty. The dog shower is well designed but far too small for a 60 kg dog. There is actually no dog beach. Security is not really a given as there is free access from all sides and nobody at reception actually checks who goes in and out. All in all, the price for this place is too expensive

Location is fantastic. You walk right onto the beach. Through the beach to the center with night market, fair and restaurants. Camping itself does its best, but it is just not. Great pool, great restaurant, great showers etc.

To get a complete pictureI have to state that we are a pair with a car and a tent, so if you drive a camper, you may have different experience. We chose this camp randomly and without planning. Upon arriving we were welcomed by friendly and outgoing staff at the reception. They told us to go inside the camp and find some spots, remember their numbers and then come back to find out whether they are free. We found a nice shaded place, returned back and it was free. However we needed to leave our IDs at reception until they finished the check in process. We were told couple hours, but it took another day for us to get our IDs back. The camp itself is of moderate size, easily walkable and it does not have the commercial vibe of most big camps. The spots are mostly flat, they have adequate size, we had much free place after parking our car and setting the tent. There is a lot of shade provided by pines, but be aware that some of them drip a lot of sap, which sticks to tent and car. The hygiene facilities were amazing. They are either new or reconstructed, and they look great, but the real praise goes to the cleaning ladies. I swear they were there non stop, wiping the floor and refilling soap and toilet paper. A lot of people come and go, so there is some dirt, but it is quickly cleaned. Another amazing thing is there is always hot water, which you may think is to be expected, but upon visiting two another camps later, it really is not. The beach close to camp is rocky and there are some urchins, so you should wear shoes to water. The access you have to Kamenjak and Pula is great. Really good location. There are two restaurants in camp, one is amazing and closer to beach, the second one is okay but could be better. The shop is smaller, but it was opened also on Sunday and adequately stocked. In case you need it, you can walk to Premantura for shopping, but we found out that the prices don’t differ that much. In front of the camp is a small bakery and it’s absolute gem. We bought fresh pastries every morning. Finally the price per night was around 60€ which is not a small sum, but considering other camps in Istria, it’s a good price. PRO tip: book through the app or website. With our next visit, which was a week after first stop, we managed to get to 47€ per night. I guess there is some special discount and some rewards program. Plus you can make the check in yourself which speeds up the process and you don’t have to leave documents on reception. We also saw some playgrounds and programs for kids, but as we don’t have kids, we can’t really comment on them. Overall a strong recommendation. We felt here really comfortable, the people are nice and the nature is amazing; each night you hear this “beep” sound. It started always around 9 and lasted through the night. We later found out it’s an owl!
