FarmCamps De Verloren KostLast week we enjoyed a wonderful stay at the beautiful farm of Sherman and Annemarie. Everything was well taken care of, tent was very clean and fully equipped and both owners were readily available for explanation or help if needed. We immediately felt very welcome to enjoy a relaxing stay. Our daughter of 5 could play freely. And the pony lessons were a great success. It was also great fun to help take care of the animals in the morning and we thought the walk in the woods with the ponies was top. For those planning to go: the pizzas are delicious and delivered to the tent and breakfast definitely worth booking as well.

Afgelopen week genoten van een heerlijk verblijf op de prachtige boerderij van Sherman en Annemarie. Alles was prima verzorgd, tent was heel netjes en compleet uitgerust en beide eigenaren waren goed beschikbaar voor uitleg of hulp indien nodig. Wij voelden ons gelijk heel welkom om te kunnen genieten van een relaxt verblijf. Onze dochter van 5 kon heerlijk vrij spelen. En de ponylessen waren een groot succes. Ook was het erg leuk om ‘s ochtends de diertjes te helpen verzorgen en vonden we de wandeling in het bos met de pony’s top. Voor wie van plan is om te gaan: de pizza’s zijn heerlijk en worden aan de tent bezorgd en het ontbijtje zeker ook de moeite waard om bij te boeken.

Expedition ArcheonMixed experience with my 4-year-old son. I felt the park was not geared towards children his age. Everything on the water requires a swimming certificate, even when accompanied by an adult, for the log canoes but also for a simple ferry. Shows also not aimed at small children. For example, at the gladiator show it was said that "people are being beaten up for entertainment" (a small child does not understand this as humor). Characters are very absorbed in their roles, but not all are child-friendly: my son was told that he was picking blackberries "because they would be sprayed", bit strange. The park was smaller than expected, a lot smaller, for example, than the Open Air Museum in Arnhem. I therefore find the regular entrance fee disproportionate to what is on offer. Fortunately, it can be visited for free with the Museum Card, which makes a difference. Still, we had a nice day. The park was well cared for, there was a playground and even on a weekend day in the summer vacations it was quiet.

Gemengde ervaring met mijn zoon van 4 jaar. Ik vond het park niet gericht op kinderen van zijn leeftijd. Voor alles op het water is een zwemdiploma verplicht, ook onder begeleiding van een volwassene, voor de boomstamkano's maar ook voor een simpel pontje. Shows ook niet gericht op kleine kinderen. Zo werd bij de gladiatorenshow gezegd dat er "mensen in elkaar geslagen worden voor vermaak" (dit snapt een klein kind niet als humor). Figuranten gaan erg op in hun rol, maar zijn niet allemaal kindvriendelijk: mijn zoon werd erop aangesproken dat hij bramen plukte "omdat deze bespoten zouden worden", beetje vreemd. Het park was kleiner dan verwacht, een stuk kleiner bijvoorbeeld dan het Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem. Ik vind de reguliere entreeprijs daarom niet in verhouding staan tot het gebodene. Gelukkig is het met de Museumkaart wel gratis te bezoeken, dat scheelt. Wij hebben toch een leuke dag gehad. Het park was goed verzorgd, er was een speeltuin en zelfs op een weekenddag in de zomervakantie was het rustig.

Flower Camping Le KerarnoQuiet, restful campsite. Heated outdoor pool. Mobile homes spaced far enough apart to feel comfortable. Good-value restaurant. Friendly staff. Only downside, mobile home a little dated but correct. No convenience store.

Camping calme et reposant. Piscine extérieure bien chauffée. Mobilhomes suffisamment espacés pour se sentir à l'aise. Resto bon rapport qualité prix. Personnel accueillant. Seul bémol, mobil-home un peu vieillissant mais correct. Pas de supérette de dépannage.

Camping Seasonova Etang de la ValléeService from the staff is downright poor and rude. Toilet and showers are just not cleaned by the too lazy staff that manages this campground. Very disappointing because other campsites of this chain were very good.

Service van het personeel is ronduit slecht en onbeschoft. Toilet en douches worden gewoon niet schoongemaakt door het te luie personeel wat deze camping beheert. Erg teleurstellend want andere campings van deze keten bevielen wel erg goed.

Camping Mar y Sierra oudLeuke camping. In een oude staat met wat nieuwe elementen. Mooie stacaravans, beschut onder de pijnbomen. Jammer dat het multifunctionele sportveld niet gereed was gemaakt voor het hoogseizoen.
