Actually nice, really recommendable, but extremely expensive! You constantly have to forbid the children to do something because everything really costs something (bouncy castle 10 minutes 6 euros, water bouncy castle 12 euros 10 minutes or 92 euros a day, etc etc) which frustrates the children enormously. You can also see that you don't have to wait anywhere because it's too expensive for everyone. Also the food, gastronomy and co, really expensive and the amount is appropriate to the price. 6 Euro fries is half a bowl full. Therefore only one point. 2 stars upgrade but because childcare, evening program, Gaminig are not only free but also really good! That saves you from saying "no" again. But beach and co, also the mobile home super. If there are problems, a call or WhatsApp and at the latest an hour later everything works again.

It's back to Park Albatros again for this year, and for a good 6 years in a row, let's see how it goes in the post covid. First of all the check-in is finally handled differently, you arrive, you park in a designated parking lot, no all together, then you go down to check in and then with the pass you can at least enter the pools while waiting to have your accommodation ready. Very good thing and avoids chaos and various annoyances.... While waiting for them to get our house ready we enter the pools. Around 2 p.m. finally house ready! The little house is well made, quite clean, on the first night a small annoyance to the electrical system, sleepless night due to an annoying noise of a relay but it is the next day immediately solved by the very good Ukrainian maintenance man (among the few positive things of park albatros that are saved). Pools and formats splendid, stores increased by leaps and bounds, to return.

We had a pleasant stay at Champagny. Quiet, in the middle of nature, the pitches without electricity are really well placed under the trees. The staff are pleasant and the sanitary facilities are always clean.

Everything nice but bad animators, they don't inform anything about what they are doing and they don't even do the tournaments that are on the calendar, because it is windy then no ping pong tournament. The evening with live music luckily we heard the music otherwise we would have missed that too.

Super campsite near the highway (which we hardly noticed) with large pitches under the trees. Rather quiet site, with very friendly staff who also speak good English. The price/performance ratio is quite good.

After spending three vacations at Amarin Resort, we decided to try another Maistra resort in Rovinj—Polari. It’s definitely less luxurious than Amarin, but much more natural, with greenery all around, which we really appreciated during the hot days. We stayed in a Mobile Home Comfort, which had everything we needed. We especially loved spending time on the spacious and well-equipped terrace. The only downside was the very slow water flow in our shower. Strangely, the campsite’s shared lavatories didn’t have this issue, so we ended up washing our hair there occasionally. The mattress was high quality, but personally a bit too stiff for my liking. One big plus—not mentioned on Maistra website—is that guests staying in MH Comfort have prepaid sunbeds and an umbrella at Punta Eva Beach. I found this out by chance, and it saved us quite a bit of money. Punta Eva itself is a beautiful beach with crystal-clear water and surprisingly fewer people compared to other Polari beaches. Because the campsite is huge, you do have to get used to the constant traffic—cars, cyclists, scooters, and all sorts of transportation. As a parent of small kids, it meant always staying alert. Still, we really enjoyed our stay and will most likely be back next year!

Beautiful campsite close to Valkenburg and Maastricht.

The showers are either scalding hot or freezing cold, and despite two reports, the problem persists. It seems to be a long-standing system malfunction. Cobwebs were present in many shower cubicles every day for ten days. The cleaning seems to be generally correct... but yes, removing the webs from the top of the showers should be a daily task. Access to the bathroom is via a staircase with uneven steps, which is dangerous. For several days, at different times of the day, there was no more hand soap in the toilets, despite the passage of the cleaning teams. Some people say you have to sign up three days in advance, while others say you have to sign up a week in advance. It would be good if the team could agree and communicate a clear rule. Huttopia's rule is also debatable: as holidaymakers, we often wait for the weather before deciding whether or not to take part in an activity. On this point, the campsite manager fortunately agreed, exceptionally, to a same-day registration. But this lack of flexibility is regrettable. An evening activity lasting less than 50 minutes is really short... Even for children, when an activity is advertised as lasting an hour, it actually lasts barely 45 minutes, in our experience. The ground is very rocky, which makes setting up the sardines very complicated, depending on the location. Planting in a rock is not easy... Even if the manager made an effort to sign us up for an activity, it's clear that the team is not prepared to listen to the complaints of a disgruntled customer after paying 967 euros for a simple tent pitch. At this price, you'd expect a minimum of service from a 4-star campsite. In fact, one of our staff behaved in a threatening manner simply because I expressed my dissatisfaction. Yes, you pay for mediocre service, and you have to accept that you can say so. Finally, the games provided should be checked. Playing with 24 Uno cards isn't ideal... It's not as if a complete set costs a fortune. Every other stack in the TV remote control was also missing. Aside from the location, which is a real plus point, I'd like to emphasize that the bar staff are very pleasant, attentive and responsive. I'm extremely disappointed by this campsite and this chain. Taken separately, each point may seem minor, but the accumulation makes the stay clearly unpleasant in view of the value for money.

Large campsite with leisure facilities. Nice beach, great restaurants with good food and live music until about midnight. Very modern and clean sanitary facilities. They are constantly cleaned and there is always hot water.

The location is absolutely beautiful and the hotel itself is clean and well cared for. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with our room: despite having booked over 8 months in advance, we got a room overlooking only trees - not the beautiful view we had hoped for. Fortunately, we were able to change rooms, but unfortunately this was a downgrade to a family bungalow. In doing so, we also did not get a price difference (around 150€) back. Reception indicated that this would have been possible if we had booked directly through their own website instead of Booking.com. So that's an important tip for future guests: book directly with the hotel itself, it can really make a difference! The area is very quiet, which can be ideal for some. For us personally with young children, it was a bit too quiet and remote for the three nights we stayed - there is not a whole lot to do in the area and we also found the selection of restaurants a bit limited. All in all, a nice place if you come for peace and nature.
