Nice campsite but we really ended up in a gravel pit in full sun, we had no shade at all which we thought was a minus point. The reception was good, the sanitary buildings (there are 3 of them) are cleaned 3 times a day. Unfortunately it was not always very clean, I must add that the campsite is not solely to blame. It was true that there were often 2 to 4 families on 1 pitch, it looked like a festival site in some places. These are mostly people who come every year (everyone knows each other) so the campsite is actually too full, this I really find a big minus. The campground can easily do something about this, which is to set a maximum for (extra) tents and introduce a tariff for extra tents, because you do have to pay for a dog, which does not generate any extra work, but extra tents are free. This in itself is strange because at other campsites it is quite common to pay extra for extra tents. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against free space for extra tents but here it has gotten really out of hand and it doesn't do the campsite much good. When you take care of the extra tents, the problems with the sanitary buildings will be solved to a large extent. The showers were very cold. Furthermore, the campground has and own beach where dogs are allowed to swim, Aunt Nel (our labrador) was very happy with that. There were many surfers on the water which is a beautiful sight. Also you have everywhere on the campsite and beautiful views of the mountains.

Very pleasant stay. Quality location overlooking nature in a sweet tent. Pleasant staff and quality activities. The pool is clean and pleasant. If you like to "listen" to the cicadas, this is the place to go.

This is a lovely campsite, within 10 mins walk of the centre of Ypres. We had a campervan pitch with awning. The pitch was plenty big enough with electric and water by the side of the pitch. There are two shower blocks. One will be revamped soon, the other is perfectly adequate - clean, hot water and good sized cubicle. The pitches are set out well. Lots of different areas marked out. Would definitely recommend if visiting Ypres.

Perfect stay in a trapper tent 3 years ago, facing the lake. No mosquitoes and fishing available. Wonderful campsite for discovering the region. Water sports center next door for variety, but the campsite already offers one of the most beautiful Huttopia pools. We have very fond memories of it and would recommend it.

We went camping here for 5 nights. A cool campground with restaurant, snack bar and a definite plus is the river! We arrived and were soon able to go to our pitch. The shame is that the pitches are not well marked so the neighbors were half on our part! You can easily order bread for the morning after. The staff was pretty much just job students, because of this it was often chaos such as incomplete orders! Food in the restaurant is very good, just little choice. It is a cool campsite for people who like to stay on the campsite itself, in the village there is nothing to do or open. You often have to drive longer! In general: a nice campsite. Not to be repeated but we enjoyed it!

Not a bad campsite on the outskirts of Siena. On the other hand, I saw that it had all the labels from the backpacker's guide. In short, knowing that they charge for displaying their sign, quite a few shopkeepers, told me so in short the 68 late should follow.😢 high quality internet speed at the reception level

PROS The place was very nice, the bed very comfortable and close to the village, the girl who attended me at the reception was super friendly. CONS The mini fan that with these temperatures moves the hot air and is like a greenhouse and the schedule of the pool that in August opens at 15 hours. For those seeking tranquility is a campsite so there are many people and that's what has to go in the summer even so we have been very comfortable.
