Beautiful surroundings and we were lucky that the heather was in bloom. Active Twente had provided us with a Duo bike so great cycling in the area.

Fabulous family friendly, campsite in ideal location to explore the Ile de Ré. Great staff and central facilities and lovely friendly vibe. Not too big but plenty to get involved with if staying with children. Evening entertainment some nights and always to a high standard and appealing to all ages. Quiet at night.

Had a wonderful vacation with children ages 3 and 5. The little river was perfect for playing and swimming. Even in very high temperatures you could sit by the river in the shade. Staff was friendly and competent. There is considerable noise daily until 11 am, sometimes at our own campsite, sometimes at restaurants nearby. With temperatures towards 40 degrees, the tent did get too hot for the kids to sleep. This is reason for me to choose a Huttopia in a slightly less hot region next time.

Stop searching, the family campground you are looking for you have just found. A campground for young and old. We stayed with family of two children ages 3 and 7 for a total of one week. It started that we were at the reception at 7:30 in the evening asking do you still have room? Actually, the campsite was full that night. But through a temporary overnight stay with the family itself, it was possible to stay on the campsite the next day. Thank you very much for that! After a few days it was certain for us that we wanted to stay longer which fortunately was possible. Several people at the campsite stayed for a longer period than intended. And that says something. Hard work pays off and you can see that from the owners and also family of this campsite. They visit every guest to ask about their experiences and how they are doing. Because of the house rules, including not playing music, it remains a quiet and cozy campsite. There are 2 large campfire pits and you can make your own campfire in a bowl. For the children there are several playgrounds, dam building in the creek, and a bouncy castle. There is a natural lake in which to swim with play equipment and they have a regular swimming pool. There is a cozy terrace, food can be ordered in the evening, and there is a small camp store and an outdoor store for supplies. We first thought how would it be with that dogs are welcome at the campground. But this was totally fine. Everyone sticks nicely to the rules so the dogs are always on a leash and everything is cleaned up neatly. Sanitary facilities are spacious, neat and clean. And yes due to the size of the campground there is sometimes busier at the showers. Every day there is a baker with fresh bread at the campsite. There is a queue for the baker but yes it's vacation, and you have an equal chat with other people. And while waiting you also get coffee offered, totally top! My 7-year-old son wanted to go handbow shooting. We were a little later than the group. He was one of the youngest and when his turn came, they really took the time for him to prepare the bow step by step. Maybe an idea to stretch another shade cloth over the bouncy castle for slightly longer period shade. There are also lots of activities further organized. Check the camping site for these! Beautiful tent of all amenities.

The swimming pool was very nice. Furthermore, the air conditioning in the cottage was also particularly nice.

Beautifully situated natural campsite on a stream with a natural swimming pool. 99% Dutch people on the site.

We stayed in a large and beautiful safari tent. Everything was still neat and like new. Recommended to use the app to order sandwiches for the next day (or go to a supermarket within driving distance). If you do not do this then there are virtually no fresh rolls available in the store at the campsite. This is really a minus point. This can and really should be done differently.
