With 2 people in 4-person rental tent stayed, however, tight for 4 when you want to lose luggage etc. Mosquito net is desirable because of insects. Swimming pools are pleasant, catering establishment ditto, sanitary facilities very well maintained during the day. However, it does not live up to our previous Huttopia experiences; less space for nature than elsewhere, guests are more "free" (think screaming children about the campsite after 11pm or before 8am). To explore the island either use the car a lot or like to bike (many of the towns and sights are further than 10km). Il de Ré is definitely recommended!

We spent one night on a pitch, we were very well received, a top quality service, very clean sanitary facilities, an exceptional campsite to discover without hesitation 🙂 We're looking forward to your visit.

The cottage is very nicely decorated and clean when we arrived. Nice that there was a bathrobe. The location of the cottages is nice in relation to each other. Plenty of privacy. A minus point was the tractor behind our cottage, unfortunate that there were looking at this.

Lovely place, I got a brand new bungalow, I would say perfect, unfortunately for my issues a bit far from the sea. But I must praise all the staff for finding me an accommodation in another village, also from their group, more suitable for my needs. I thank the staff so much.... Superlative... I still recommend for those who feel like taking a walk.... Very nice Thank you very much

Campsite recommended for cyclists. A warm welcome from the owners, comfortable shady pitches. Swimming pool and on-site restaurant overlooking the pond. All the best!

A nice family campground with fun activities for the kids. Our son had a great time. We were able to come a day early and stood on an intermediate spot, this went a little messy for a while because some campers did not settle on the right spot, at reception the manager was very busy because someone was sick, this best man tries to help everyone as best he can. The next day he cycled by to ask if it had gone well. We appreciate this very much. After this we went to our final spot. Spacious place only by the rain that had fallen a week earlier what soggy what started to stink. There are plenty of fun activities nearby and both a supermarket and other stores are nearby. The points of improvement from my point of view: 1. A washing machine was broken the first day we arrived, this can happen. The second day the other one was also defective. By now a week later these are still defective. Fortunately, washing can be done a stone's throw away, but the bill by the washing machines stating you can wash in Han, could have been better completed with the address. Indeed, via google you are sent to the wrong location in Han. 2. For the high season the consumption in the toilet building is extremely high. This is also reflected in the mess that camping guests unfortunately make. I think with a cleaning in the afternoon (1200/13:00 and in the evening 22:00/23:00) you can get a lot of results. Also, during peak hours the water is no longer hot but lukewarm to cold. It seems that the central heating cannot handle the capacity. Of course, these are points of improvement and the campsite is really recommended. Spacious places, lots of entertainment and friendly staff. We would definitely like to come back again.

The cycling package is expensive for what you get: pitch in the middle of the passage between the accommodation and the pool, no electricity or water. Just two tables. Although this campsite is occupied by a majority of Dutch people, it would be nice if the staff had some knowledge of French. Nevertheless, the site and sanitary facilities are clean.

This review aims not to denigrade the Papillon Country Resort, but as a warning for other customers to learn from my mistake. I booked and payed a standard family room (or Air Lodge 2.0, based on their official site) for the 4 of us, from 10 to 15 August. At the reception, we received the accomodation no. F14, situated NW of the camp. On the arrival, a very unpleasant smell from the farmer next to the location, smashed our senses. We agreed that this situation should not interfere with our vacation, although that smell is way negatively difrent from a normal smell of a farm. After half an hour spent in the accomodation, while arranging our stuff, we felt an irritation in the throat, moment that we observed the mold on the ceiling. The hole place, even the upstairs bedroom, was with plenty of mold spots, green and black, not to mention the unproperly cleaning. When we complained at the reception, a technical personnel was sent but he denied the existence of the mold. Even during our conversesion with the manager (worth to mention his lack of common sense, diplomacy, who cannot take his responsabilites, but blaming the clients) he denied the mold, with the "wood sweat". A simple Google search could discover this simple difference between the mold and the wood sweat. On our recommendation, the manager searched for difrent accomodation, with no luck due to unavailablility. Hence, we were forced to give up our so called my kids relaxing vacation, and to drive back home, another 4 hours. Taking all into account, I strongly advice anyone not to accept the respective accomodation, and also to avoid the ones near the farm.

Quiet, friendly campsite near Paris.

After 3 stays on 3 different sites (Lanmary, Font-Romeu and Dieulefit), I was very disappointed by this latest stay at La Clarée, where the services were not up to the standard I had experienced on the other sites: - Sheets ordered by telephone a few weeks before arrival were not taken into account, - Sheets supplied after arrival but with holes, - Incorrect answers to our questions, which meant we had to buy washing-up liquid and sponges for nothing, as they were already included in the rental price, - Too few carts to take our luggage to the pitch (we didn't have a car, so a member of the team went and got one on site, thank you), - Dust (thick on the trunk), damaged tent canvas at the entrance, - Total disorganization on the part of the (otherwise friendly) team, with waits of 1.5 hours for pizza and 30 minutes for bread in the morning! - A pitch at the far end of the campsite, where we were told we'd find peace and quiet, even though we could hear the road and the nearby sawmill, - A cruel lack and remoteness of washing-up points, with systematically long queues and cold water (we found ourselves washing up in the washbasins in the toilets), - The pool water was extremely murky (you couldn't see the bottom at 1.5m!), not to mention the water in the foot bath, which was more like a mud bath, and the broken pool arch, which made it impossible to get in safely... It's also worth noting that, unlike the other sites I've visited, here cars can come and go freely and can park in the campsite. In short, a disappointment for a site so well located in the Hautes Alpes.
