What a wonderful small-scale campground. Really a nice place to camp. We had rented a four person tent and it was fully equipped! Two swimming pools and the river within walking distance for a nice swim. There are all kinds of activities to do in the area! With us, the electricity popped out a few times. It turned out that the socket was no longer good. The campsite manager replaced it and also gave us breakfast for the inconvenience! What a service! The only thing left for us would be a good lunch menu.

Never have I been treated so badly as by the owners of Camping Falkudden. The female owner in particular showed that she has no business in the service industry. An unpleasant tone right from the start and later a completely unprovoked scolding. The behavior was both unprofessional and inhospitable. ||I would not recommend anyone to have anything to do with Camping Falkudden.

Liked: Overall the holiday was brilliant! The pitches are a brilliant size and well maintained. The toilet block was very clean and everyday we saw them being cleaned regularly. The showers were also spacious and hot except a few had draining issues and they flooded. The pools were great, although not heated as stated. They were shallow enough that both our young inexperienced children could access with minimal adult support. The play area is of good size with enough to keep young children entertained. The local area is beautiful and the village is a short walk away that has a shop and a little cafe. The site has a quiet rule from 11pm which did seem to be obeyed by all staying which was good. Disliked: The shop was only open 7:30-10am and then 5-7:30pm. The activities are not very well advertised at all so other than aqua gym, my children missed out. We never saw or heard about football camp and the evening entertainment was hit & miss and it was 30 minutes of dancing for young children that finished by 7pm. The website said there was a petting zoo but we never saw access to the animals. The games room has one table tennis in but no access to equipment, the sauna is an extra charge which isn’t made clear on the website, the arts & craft room is unsupervised and activities are messy and disorganised. It also said there was activities such as horse riding, cycle hire and paragliding but these are all outside companies that you have to source out yourself with little information from the camp. Water outlets are sparse for touring pitches and are hidden between pitches so you had to go very close to others tents to access running water. The camp was also over run with wasps so be careful!

Popular: Very nice facility with private sanitary areas Optional... Very nice owners who take care of everything... Bread roll service... Child friendly... Disliked: Not ideal for dog owners who like to walk a lot in the area... Too few paths...

Very clean campsite, the staff are there to help and welcome you. The entertainment is present, the shows in the evening, the games, the mini club is well supervised.|The barbecues available are top.|A little thing to say which is derisory it would be necessary to put a chisel in the mobil-home, it is useful, otherwise all is well.|We will return gladly to the domain of the low straw. There is so much to see and do.|Thank you for contributing to our wonderful stay with you.

We've been camping for 4 summers. We have reserved a chalet. Sheets and towels. The sheets are not fitted sheets and there is no entertainment on the campsite. Apart from a concert on Friday evening. I don't see why it's a 4-star campsite.|Pizza very expensive with very little topping |Food truck hamburger on Mondays are not bad|Pool heated in the sun I think because it's quite cool.|No security there were some "outsiders" at the pool who, as they were smoking fartards, were denounced and asked to leave by the reception but everyone can get in because the gate is open during the day and the gate is always open. |The lake could be nice if it didn't have bacteria in it. Access via the campsite parking lot, a 10-minute walk away. We won't be coming back.

Liked: The swimming pool, even though it wasn't heated. Disliked: Lack of organised pitches (it is basically a free for all when you arrive). It is not easy to work out the boundaries or numbers, with some being single pitches and some joint and all being various sizes). No-one helps you or gives you any instructions because you just get told to find any pitch and park up. The whole site just looks like an unorganised mess of pitches. Not all the pitches are level because some are on a fairly steep slope. The staff generally come across as not caring less about providing a good customer service or literally any customer service whatsoever. We felt that the staff were racist towards us bearing in mind that we had done nothing wrong to anyone. When we went to order food from the restaurant they claimed to have no food even though they were serving people when we arrive and carried on serving after us. (This was also after they had messed us about for an hour by saying that we needed to come back later when the restaurant was clearly open at the time). We were disgusted because obviously they just didn't want to serve us, and as a family with two children (one severely disabled) we were all hungry and exhausted. They claim to be a disability friendly site, well that's a joke. Just any kind of friendly customer service would have been nice. When we arrived, the reception wasn't even open. Pitchup says 4pm, yet they didn't bother to turn up until 5pm and there was not even a sorry from them. The rest of my family were boiling hot in our motorhome, just waiting and waiting. My disabled child was having a meltdown as well. Clearly, we weren't the only ones who had turned up before 5pm because there was a huge queue of motorhomes and cars/caravans going all the way back to the road after us. I dread to think how long they all would have waited for their pitches. behind us. I've never seen anything like it and I've stayed at quite a few sites. We were luckily second in the queue but we still had to wait about 30 minutes for someone to turn up with such an arrogant, uncaring attitude. How can they not notice or care about the queue of vehicles and people waiting to check-in to their pitch? The staff can barely speak English. I'm not that arrogant to expect other people to speak my language but when you are running a campsite, with all kinds of nationalities turning up, don't bother advertising your site to the British people unless you care enough to learn the English language to an appropriate standard. Also, don't be racist towards the British by refusing to serve them food after messing them about for an hour. Wifi didn't work - we clicked on it but no internet was available. Showers/toilets were very basic - they didn't look particularly clean and there certainly wasn't enough of them for the amount of people on that site in peak season.

Not sure where to start…|One of the noisiest, most unpleasant eurocamp sites we have ever stayed at. Music well past midnight, so loud with no consideration for children. On one night it was played until 1am and was so loud we could not sleep - unable to complain to anyone as the Eurocamp staff had very limited English. |This is billed by Eurocamp as a family site but we would not agree - a very large group of Dutch teenagers arrived on our last night - swearing and pushing each other around - it did not feel safe to let our 9 year old daughter go and play in the park. They stayed in the park until 11pm. |There was also horrible smell of sewage when you set in the restaurant which was a shame because the two meals we had there were nice. |The pool was lovely if you go there as it opened at 10am - then so many people arrived from 11am - mainly unsupervised children - there are rules around behaviour in the pool but none were observed as no one from the campsite is there ever.|Really disappointing stay, not at all what we have ever experienced before at a number of Eurocamp sites - be aware it may not be suitable for families with children under about 14.

Spent 3 weeks at this beautiful camping park. Wonderful walks around the vacation park and enjoyed the surroundings. Unfortunately for me, there were also some downsides. The indoor pool was not at a nice temperature, or in other words, just too cold. But I do have a tip if you come as a visitor, jump in the outdoor pool first and then go inside because then it still looks like something in terms of temperature. Supervision at the pool was also inconsistent, some employees were more concerned with their phones than the surroundings. At some sanitary buildings you couldn't dry your hands because the dryer didn't work, I personally find that super gross. Water pressure in the sanitary building where we stood was really hopeless in the beginning, fortunately this was fixed after a complaint. Toilets were also bad: toilet paper was stuck in the toilet and had to be flushed several times. Animation was not really fantastic, there were very nice things organized but often too messy. Snack bar was fine, delicious ice cream! The valley and thus taken that sandy area looked very nice. In contrast to some other reviewers, I have not been bothered by any nuisance from young people, they sometimes walked by towards the forest, sometimes drunk, sometimes a bit noisy, but that was it. I have been surprised about the attitude of people, a goat ran away from the petting zoo and instead of trying to lead the animal back, they just laughed very loudly about the fact that the goat ran across the parking lot but helped catch it. Leaving greasy skid marks in the toilet, not rinsing or cleaning the sink of food, demolishing bushes, throwing food in the pool, wet toilet paper against the wall, clogging the toilet on purpose. Etc. In any case, respect to the cleaners of the washrooms. All in all, had a fine vacation, but not worthy enough for another 3-week summer vacation. In terms of price and quality it was a bit disappointing. Perhaps nice again for a week or weekend.

Stayed at the campground for 2 weeks. Nice toilet block ( just new) , good facilities for bikes, with loading spots in a bike shed. Helpful staff.
