A pleasant campground in a nice location. Lots of dogs around. There are also quite a few seasonal sites. Dog owners let their dogs use the riverbank—where people swim—as a place to relieve themselves. The dogs poop and pee right where children and other guests are playing.
I reported this, but they just laughed it off. I won’t be coming back here. Other than that, the pool is great and there’s a supermarket within walking distance.

Beautiful campground

This campground is beautifully situated on the Doubs River. There are plenty of cycling opportunities, and since it’s right on the river, it’s also an idyllic campground. It’s clearly a campground for people passing through, but if you mention that you’ll be staying longer, they’ll give you a nice spot (if possible).

The restrooms are neat and tidy. Good showers that are kept clean. The pool is accessible to campground guests, but we didn’t use it.

The spots by the water were mainly reserved for people with tents and small caravans. Fortunately, those nasty big RVs were out of our sight.

I definitely recommend this campground, but if you want to stay a little longer, be sure to mention that when you make your reservation.

We spent a week at the Huttopia Lac D’Aureilhan campground in a travel trailer as a family. As soon as we arrived, we had a great interaction with Mathis, who accommodated our request to switch travel trailers so we wouldn’t be in direct sunlight during this week-long heat wave. Throughout the week, the staff went out of their way to take care of us, and the facilities were always clean and well-maintained!
We went swimming in the lake several times, and it was very enjoyable.
We’d love to come back.
The only thing that could be improved would be adding mosquito screens to the trailer windows—otherwise, everything was perfect.

The worst campground of my life—totally racist and discriminatory. Just because of your last name, they’ll cancel your reservation. It doesn’t matter that you made the reservation a long time ago; if you don’t show up, they’ll make up any excuse to kick you out—which is exactly what happened to me. I was with two elderly people, two people with disabilities, and a minor, and I had to leave before as soon as we arrived because, according to them, we were breaking the rules. They’re racists. I’ve never in my life experienced so much racism. I hope this doesn’t just go unchallenged, and with everyone’s support and help, we can put an end to the racism at this campground.

It’s actually a nice campground. However, the prices are very high, and on top of that, they try to charge extra for many things (e.g., pool loungers or reservation fees).

The restroom facilities also don’t seem to have been planned very thoughtfully. Although the shower and toilet are located in the same stall, they aren’t separated by a partition. As a result, the toilet area is completely wet most of the time, since water from the shower splashes directly onto it.

Overall, the campground is well-maintained and visually appealing. However, the overall impression is marred by the high additional costs, giving the impression that the operators are trying to squeeze extra profit out of everything here.

I had a wonderful massage and pedicure. Everyone is very friendly.

Since I like to leave reviews after my trips, I wanted to share my experience—especially since I’d read several negative reviews before coming.
Today, after spending 4 days at this campground (out of a 15-day stay), I have to say I’m really surprised by some of the reviews. Honestly, they don’t reflect at all what we’re experiencing here.
We’re having a wonderful time at a pleasant, clean, family-friendly, and very well-maintained campground. The water park is really great, for both kids and adults, and everything is clean and welcoming.
Our mobile home is new, comfortable, and very clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities, especially the dishwasher and the large refrigerator, which really make for a comfortable vacation.
The activity leaders are warm, cheerful, and dedicated. The managers and the entire staff are welcoming, helpful, and always pleasant.
We also really appreciate the activities on offer. Whether it’s theme nights, daytime activities, or volleyball games in the pool, everything is done in a cheerful spirit. This is a real plus, as it allows children, teens, and adults to spend time together and creates a friendly atmosphere that we really love.
I also spoke with a guest by the pool who’s been coming here for nearly twenty years. She’s seen the campground evolve over the years and continues to return with pleasure. I think that speaks volumes about the quality of this place and the sense of attachment it can inspire.
As for us, we’re so satisfied that we’re already planning to come back next year.
It just goes to show that sometimes it’s best to form your own opinion. As for us, we’re delighted with our stay and are happy to recommend this campground.

I rented a truly great house (No. 544), but at a steep price of nearly 1,600 euros. To receive no compensation or refund for a week’s stay with a broken whirlpool/hot tub—and to be offered only a gift certificate—is, frankly, neither customer-friendly nor legitimate! You’ll see—even the Germans will start saving at some point.....
