Reservation of the pitch one day before by e-mail worked great; nice and helpful staff; small and nice restaurant area available; sanitary facilities clean and absolutely ok; large tree population with the disadvantage of many pigeons that really "drop" a lot; small cute -not heated- swimming pool, because there is no opportunity to swim in the sea here; great bike path to Mt. St. Michel.

We hebben een top week gehad op deze camping! De eigenaren en werknemers zijn heel vriendelijk en werken keihard. Het eten in het restaurant is heerlijk. De plek waar de camping ligt is prachtig. Het is er heel rustig en gezellig. We komen volgend jaar graag weer terug!🩷 Familie Hazekamp

A total disconnect and a super pleasant service I recommend and all the restaurant team is really great.

Small, fine place run by a handful of people located directly on the lake. The staff were always helpful and responded quickly. Monte Trappe etc. is not far away. You should arm yourself against mosquitoes. There were quite a lot of them in July.

Superb vacation at a very friendly, no-holds-barred campsite. The comfort of the mobile homes is top-notch, and everything is close by, even the beach, within easy walking distance. The food truck is delicious and the restaurant owner is very pleasant and friendly. I recommend+++.

45€ a night, I just want to pitch my tent for a night, not buy land!

Superb campsite. A loyal customer for 35 years, we have now seen the management taken over by Huttopia. Over the past 3 years, Mathilde and Pauline have considerably improved management, cleanliness and entertainment. The teams are smiling and more than efficient. A real pleasure for our 3-week vacation. We sincerely hope to see them again next year! Bravo again and thank you. ☺️ With regard to the two previous reviews, which make me laugh a little, I've never seen a "rat colony" here, or even a rat at all. Hedgehogs, field mice, insects, ants ... And yes, a wilderness campsite on the Ile de Ré. It seems to me that your awakening as an "organized gang" was done by a single person (I was two pitches away) and for a simple and good reason: inappropriate behavior during the night, which disturbed a large number of campers (4 a.m.) and obviously led to quite a few complaints in the early hours of the morning! So, girls, we'll see you next year 🤞 and thanks again to you both and the whole team.

A dream family week - back in 2026! We spent a week as a family at the Sunêlia La Presqu'île campsite with our two daughters, aged 12 and 15, and our dog. Everything went perfectly! The setting is absolutely magnificent: between lake and mountains, it's a real little corner of paradise. There are plenty of activities to do in the area: paddle, canoe, mountain bike, hiking, towed buoys, boat hire... not to mention the pretty surrounding villages to discover. The campsite is cosy and quiet, with some entertainment but not too much, which is perfect for relaxing. The lakeside restaurant is a real plus, and a very pleasant place for evening meals. The staff are very welcoming, smiling and available. The pitches are well placed, and the atmosphere remains friendly. The majority of the clientele is Dutch (around 80%): a little more diversity would be appreciated, but it didn't spoil our experience. One small point for improvement: the sanitary facilities are starting to age and could do with a refresh or even a renovation, but I have no doubt that Sunelia will do what's necessary in this respect. Easy access to amenities: gas station and Intermarché supermarket just 5 minutes away by car. All our criteria were ticked, and we loved it so much that we've already reserved our pitch for 2026. That's how much we've fallen in love with the place!

Camping belle-vue 2000 right on the Mullerthal trail. Great location to start from or to stay overnight along the way. Nice playground for the kiddo's, in front is a coffee corner where they also sell snacks and beer, there is a snack bar this is run by a Dutch manager. Delicious fries, good quality food. The campsite is busy installing new chalets, safari tents and normal tents for rental. Looks great, only drawback at the moment is the sanitary building. This is quite dated and cries out for renovation. But fair is fair, so is the price per night.

Camping is neat, nicely situated in the Loire River which cannot be reached from the campsite. Spacious places. Sanitary what old but clean and sufficient, toilet seats nowhere present. Within walking distance of Saumur.
