Huttopia Saumur was such a WONDERFUL time, one I think everyone should experience several times, at least! I absolutely loved the superfriendly team, be it reception, cleaning, technical and restaurant service as well. I observed a team keen on details and generally, anticipative of challenges clients might face, and they have ready solutions to whatever kind of problems you might have on the campsite. The campsite itself is well equipped with everything you would typically need while on holiday. Coupled with a staff that goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay for all clients, it really does not get better than this. The restaurant service is nothing short of amazing. I found the pizzas delectable, especially the diavola, and margarita. They had a wide range of drinks to choose from and a spectacular bread service, from which I have had some of the best baguettes in France. I hope to be back soon!

Beautiful campsite in the heart of nature

Not recommended, the lady at the pool is surly, abusive and rude. More unique than rare!!!! Absolutely a No Go👎🏽 One star is also too much!!! Air!!!

Fun for kids

Nice campground for transit. Idd many small children, this campground is also a great place for that. Only downside were the catering prices. For that money you expect service. This is unfortunately not offered. Would only offer takeaway. You can sit inside but must order your own pizza at the bar, grab your own cutlery and then pick up your pizza from a table.

We are a family who go camping a lot and we have to say that this is great. Very good plots, shade and no flies. Clean bathrooms and very nice staff. To highlight the Bar. The food is homemade and very tasty. In the nights of the weekend they prepare barbecues. Spectacular!!! The managers of the Bar are very nice people. A greeting to M.Jse and Jose. We will be back!!!!

A warm and friendly welcome, a very well maintained campsite, we stayed in a very recent and spacious mobile home, the heated swimming pool is ideal for relaxing, the snack bar's pizzas are very good, just a bit of organisation would be nice during the evenings. The campsite is ideally located to do both sides of the basin. The only downside for us was the noisy neighbors.

Nice park with nice accommodation, just a pity that there is no dining facility on the park and after 6 p.m. also no drink to get.

Very relaxing stay had with our family. Lots to do for children, pleasant atmosphere and availability of restaurant and (snack) bar at the campsite are ideal. Swimming pool is nice, on hot days with lots of swimmers though inevitably lots of sunburn in the water which made it a little less fresh. In the area a lot to visit (villages, caves, aquarium), fun for cycling (short steep hills, MTB tours) and to do (Canoeing, waterfall). In short highly recommended.

So disappointed! We came with two young children and expected SO much more. We have left a few days early! Pros - beautiful Country, beautiful area. - pool and play areas are nice. That's about it. Cons - where do I begin... - Not much entertainment. - Obviously not many Brits over here and didn't find anyone friendly to us apart from the staff at reception. - I don't know whether this country is pro pro gentle parenting, but most the kids are absolutely ferral. Screaming until midnight, smashing play areas with logs and equipment. Kids, including tiny toddlers climbing on the outside of play areas a good 20ft up in the air - so dangerous with no parents in sight what so ever. - obviously the Netherlands are a very pro cyle country, but no-one looks when cycling. Pulling out on cars without looking behind them. Young toddlers walking around the campsite (2,3 year olds) with no parents. - you'd get told off if you drove more than 10kmph, however the cleaners in buggies were racing around the site. - shower pressure is awful. - 'recreation/pub' is very basic and awful. - shop is pointless, no milk. Barely any basics. Might sound like I'm overly moaning, but honestly the worst campsite we've ever been to. UK campsite are elite compared to this.
