Top campsite, beautiful pitches and friendly operators. Very well maintained sanitary facilities and very quiet campsite. Definitely recommended and worth repeating 👍😁.

A very nice camping site. However, when there were problems with the electricity box, I was assured by phone on Sundays that someone would come. This person was not there until today. We then got the electricity from the pitch next door. Otherwise we had a nice stay.

Nice campsite, fairly good amenities/services, but can get quite busy and it's a little pricey. However, great location, only 10-15 minutes bus ride away from Versailles! 10 minutes walk from shops. All in all a good place to land for a few nights, just get here early!

Liked: Peaceful spot offering relaxation and tranquility. Fantastic facilities and wonderful hosts. Lovely views and the pool was an absolute bonus in scorching August.

Ideal base to explore Siena and surrounding Tuscan hills - easy, cheap and regular local bus service to train station & centre of Siena for stop right outside camp. Mobile home was basic but served our needs as a family of four (including two teenagers). Included a/c that worked well and was very welcome during the hot weather we experienced. Accommodation was clean with powerful shower & plenty of hot water - change of towels available on request. Large decking area that was shaded & pleasant but requires maintenance (as do the outdoor furniture). Both area & furniture were usable and, in no way, spoilt our holiday. Communal toilets & showers were plentiful & clean. Swim caps are compulsory in pool, but, as a result, pool was absolutely spotless and a pleasure to use. Food & drink at pool bar reasonably priced, plentiful & tasty. Staff at pool area could have been a bit more pleasant. Staff at reception, shop & restaurant very friendly and helpful. Restaurant popular with campers & locals alike and offered good choice and was of a high standard and includes takeaway option - we ate there four times within our 8 night stay.

We had booked through tui and stayed here for 11 nights at the beginning of September, we had a great time! ||Jammer was that we arrived at 14:00 already from an overnight stay in Switzerland, and we knew that check-in was only from 16:00, but eventually we got the key at 16:30. ||Arriving at the mobile home we were super happy, our caravan was very close to the facilities. We had booked quite late so I had taken into account that we would be somewhere at the back, but nothing was further from the truth! The caravan itself was beautiful (quite new I think), incredibly neat and clean, a bathroom without mold I rarely see during a vacation stay, even in the most expensive hotels, but here there was no mold at all! 👌|We enjoyed the large porch. We were unlucky that it rained a lot for 3 days, but under the porch we were nice and dry.||The swimming area looks very cozy. The tiles around the pool are very nice to walk on, it does not hurt your feet (I have that rather quickly). The slides are nice for adults too, they are soft like the rest of the children's pool, I didn't really know what to imagine when I read it in the other reviews but it is really nice! |The big pool was very refreshing (cold), I did expect it to be a bit warmer at the end of the season. On the hottest days it was nice and cool, but on the days with 24°C the water was really cold. ||The restaurant was nice to be able to eat nearby. Wide choice and really big portions. The people working there are quite young, but they do a good job. What we did find special was that both times we ate there we did not get the main courses at the same time, there was maybe something like 2 minutes in between. ||Because we were so close to the center, we were able to enjoy the animation from our house. We found that not disturbing, just cozy! The supermarket is nice and spacious. They also have different Dutch stuff like koopmans pancake mix. |We always like to get fresh rolls every morning on vacation but the rolls seemed old, they were dry and crumbly as if from the day before. We had our airfryer with us so we baked them for a few minutes and then they were delicious! |The croissants at the pool bar were much better! (Though expensive (but that you always have on a vacation park) at Aldi they are 1/3 of the price (and they are much tastier). ||Tips for nearby:|*Eating at La Littorina del Mincio, a cozy restaurant on the river. Here you could also walk to (half an hour)|*Shopping we did first at Martinelli Supermarket, this is a large supermarket but bomb full of products and shelves to the ceiling.|**Later we discovered the Aldi in Psechiera, this is about 10 minutes drive and that is a very nice, spacious and convenient store. In Italy they don't really seem to know the bread that we know in NL, but at this Aldi they do have very tasty rolls.|*Pitoresque villages we visited; Sirmione (look for a parking lot just outside the busy parking lots, we parked there for free and super quiet and it was only 3 min longer walk than from the larger parking lot), Peschiera, Lazise, Borghetto.|*Canevaworld, a nice aqua park at 25 minutes drive. You can buy tickets at the park.

Not at all up to the standard of a five-star resort!|Pool area for toddlers with a 20 cm hole in the floor, very dangerous, broken duckboard that can also cause injuries and, best of all, algae on the pool deck. Restaurant l'aréna is great, as are the catering and entertainment staff, who raise the bar. Restaurant at reception to be avoided, no professionalism. The first day I discovered a hair in my burger, I was asked if I wanted to change my dish (the question should not even be asked) and no apology.

We loved it, very quiet for the dates, beautiful site and the best thing is that the bungalows are well equipped with all kinds of appliances to make the food and our dog could be without problem inside the bungalow, incredible views, the nature reserve that is next to the campsite you can visit walking where there are flamingos, horses, ducks .... We will definitely repeat.

The vacation at the Chênefleur gets a very narrow pass, a selection of the experiences:|- In "the low season" (region North still had vacations), a significant part of the menu was not available (also with that reason).|- Dinner at the restaurant (it remains a restaurant on a campsite) will cost you € 80, - for two (you could order vegetables and fries separately, was not standard with the dish, even the mayo cost one euro!)|- When checking in, our predecessors were told that they had better not rent bikes, they were pretty much all broken (late season as a reason)|- Service greatly scaled down (again under the heading of late season), often one walked the entire restaurant and it ran from no end. Other staff did sit and drink beer on the terrace.|- Liner of t pool on the steps was loose, really clumsy and even dangerous I think.||Enfinfinally, there is really something very nice to make of it, and instead of fat restaurant bills the manager should do something about the quality of the campsite in general...this is not a good price / quality ratio||Owja, very uneven terrain on the pitches and far too long grass, stayed very long wet (does not walk very nicely).

We had booked a pavilion 4 with dog and deluxe package (beds made etc.), accommodation was clean, but for 4 people really too small, only a closet, to the garden furniture were no pads available, parking directly at the accommodation is good, complained defect on the refrigerator door was fixed after a day, dog beach is ridiculous, a few meters wide, bordered by reeds.|On the first day a local owner who lives there came and immediately made an announcement that the dog was not allowed on the path unleashed, there was no fence, only a thin hedge !!!! To avoid disputes we put our dachshund on a leash when we sat on the terrace, which our dog absolutely does not know, it has nothing to do with relaxation, for us it was the worst Holland vacation in recent years, this is expressly our opinion, every guest has different ideas and should make his own opinion!

Disgraceful to rent this, less than 1 meter between the terrace and the neighboring mobile home, facing north in the forest, for those who want the sun, it's not here. No garden chairs, only chairs, and they refused to provide us with 2 when the campsite is almost empty at this time of year. Thank you for your welcome.

When I was there in 2020, everything was okay except for the size of the mobile home. Only a small fridge, no stove was available, but it was okay. Last year, in August 2023, it was the same mobile home again because nothing else was available. The reception staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome and everything else was fine. Unfortunately, the restaurant is no longer as good as it was in 2020. We also booked breakfast. That was nothing! Coffee came from a vending machine and the taste was nothing. There were always pieces of eggshells in the scrambled eggs and when something was empty, it wasn't refilled. When the waves got higher one day, I naturally took my daughter and her air mattress into the water. Many other bathers were also in the sea. The David Hasselhoff wannabe lifeguard whistled like crazy that you should get out of the sea. There were 2 girls standing around him and maybe he wanted to show them what he could do, I don't know! The bathers didn't react to his whistling and neither did we. When we came out of the sea, he came to me and said that if he whistled, I had to come out. I made it clear to him that we were both good swimmers and that I knew that if the red flag was up, I was responsible for any damage to myself. He then got very loud and I told him not to shout at me, you can talk to me, then he walked away and shouted Porco and Stronzo! I then wrote an email to reception and to Baja in Munich. The answer was only that you should understand it with such high waves! Oh, so with high waves I have to let myself be insulted? Nothing else came, no apology, no explanation - nothing! I will never book with Baja again. There are 53 competitors here!
