Excellent experience, the châlet is very comfortable with a wood-burning stove that heats the entire 35 M2.|Two or three is perfect.|The location is ideal, close to the supermarket and the center of town.|Everything is done on foot, we can leave the car in the parking lot all week.👍👌|The funicular is a 20-minute walk and takes us to Arc 1600.|Finally the staff is very nice and caring.|Thank you for this great week.

The park is very nice, we went with our dog due to the crazy fireworks on the Dutch streets. Would not go there during new years because it is still pretty loud.||Here are some pluses and minuses we experienced during our stay||Plus:|-Friendly and helpfull staff|- Spacious lay-out of the park and homes|- Lovely Jacuzzi|- Only a 2 minute walk into amazing nature|- Restaurant is very nice but expensive||Minus:|- There was fireworks at the park during our stay eventhough it says "firework free" , our dog was super scared|- The sauna did not work during our stay|- House was not ready at check-in time so we had to wait an hour and a half||Would HIGHLY suggest to stay there but not during new year.

Liked: Location, Quietness

After previous fine experiences, again booked a cottage from December 28, 2024 to January 6, 2025 at EuroParcs De IJssel Eilanden. |On arrival at the cottage we found that the heating was not on and it was 7! While unpacking our stuff we saw that the cottage was just filthy, in the bathroom and toilet was just a smell sprayed, because you could see the streaks of it on the doors and tiles. The floor everywhere was just downright dirty, and also full of dust and dog hair. Since you can not reach anyone by phone after 17.00 (scandalous!!!) all complaints in the welcome mail put.|In the meantime we were also freezing cold, as nice warm up under the shower then, but unfortunately ... the plug of the boiler was out and the water so just like the house ice cold. I myself have a severe form of rheumatism and this cold was to put it mildly very unpleasant for my body.|After a bad night on a bed with a sheet with store hooks! I called the reception immediately in the morning to pass on all complaints, this young lady indicated that someone would come with an extra heater to get the house warm anyway. The other complaints we had to discuss with this person.|The technical man who came was very correct and friendly, he would pass on the complaints to the cleaning and ensure that they would come the next day to clean. In doing so, we indicated we would only be "home" in the morning. The next morning nobody was there, so at the end of the day I went to the reception again. There I was informed that in the afternoon 2x someone had come by, but yes as indicated we were not there. Meanwhile, eea itself cleaned, so indicated no longer appreciate a cleaner. (Incidentally, these "cleaners" with a bucket containing some bottles and a swiffer and they are ready within 10 minutes as we saw later at another house. ) I did indicate that we were now 3 days in the park and things were just not done and I found a compensation is in place.|Then came New Year's Eve, what was my surprise.... fireworks are allowed in the parking lot! Moreover, there were also a lot of fireworks at the park, resulting in a terrified dog who was hiding in a corner. If you book in a park where fireworks are not allowed, you may assume that there is also maintained (like the fact that few adhere to the speed limit of 15 km per hour) |Wednesday night had huge leakage in the toilet, rain just came in through the window frame and ran halfway through the floor. All the toilet articles were soaking wet, so we had to clean them again. |Then we got a message that we would get a voucher for the restaurant, nice I thought. It turned out to be a voucher for 1 main course and 1 drink pp, if you consider that that is about 35 represented I find that a nice gesture but not in proportion to what was wrong with the cottage and thus ruined our stay up to that point. |We paid 1200 euros for 9 days in a poorly maintained (also broken doors, loose faucets, rickety dining chairs) |and filthy cottage, then you should expect an appropriate compensation and I still expect it! |This review I will also send to the park manager, and stay pending a response.

For New year`s eve we booked a 4 day stay in a bungalow from a private host, who assured us there will be no fireworks in the park. Our host (who was very helpful really) called them twice, and I called as well to make sure it is true before confirming the booking. They promised it is fireworks free. This was the only reason we ever went to this park – because we have 2 dogs, and one of them has epilepsy, and they are terribly afraid of fireworks. ||We arrived on 28th of December, and the fireworks already had started. From the village and farmer`s houses near by and from the park itself! We called our host (she was a lovely woman) and she called the reception. They again said that fireworks are forbidden in the park. I went to the reception, and they personally repeated the same! So, the following days the fireworks were more and more with the biggest escalation starting on 31st of December around 6 pm and it did not stop until the morning around 4 a.m. ||In the meantime, in the night I went outside and saw a group of employees of the park also firing big rockets and fireworks, just outside our bungalow and just next to the poor reindeers who unfortunately are imprisoned in this park as well. When I approached them, they became aggressive, the women were swearing at me and to my surprise as I am a woman – the two men also pushed me. These people live there, work there, and were extremely arrogant and aggressive towards a woman- guest of the park (and I have videos and photos to prove it). They went inside and left me alone only after I started taking a video of them, and told them that if they keep pushing me, I am going to call the police! Just before they went inside while still calling me “bitch” the older man also showed me the middle finger…They did not stop with the fireworks though, just continued from the inside garden of their bungalow.||I did not expect all this when I paid hundreds of euros to stay at a holiday park with my family. I am totally speechless. ||Besides that, the park is not maintained well and there is no restaurant really. The 24/7 shop is in fact a vending machine by the reception where you could get a packet of chips, filter coffee or tampons. The people at the reception are not the friendliest too. The alleys are dark, there is no lightening except around the reception. And the most gruesome of all – two reindeers are imprisoned in the middle of the park in a fenced garden (in front of the park`s employee`s bungalow) which I find cruel and tasteless as well. I wouldn`t like my children to see these animals in such environment and don`t find this amusing at all. ||As a conclusion - obviously the selling strategy of this place is to lie about the fireworks – to the owners of the bungalows (part of the properties are owned by people who rent them out like in our case, and part of the bungalows are rented out through the reception and the park itself) and to the tourists as well. At the end our host told us that on 31st of December she got an email from the park`s manager that indeed the fireworks will be allowed!!! And this after asking them months earlier, and the day before as well and getting an opposite answer. ||Outrageous! Our bungalow was lovely, the host furnished it nicely and made it cozy and welcoming, there was everything what you could need in there, and she was also super sweet and understanding, but the park itself and the staff there left horrible impression on us and I do not recommend this park to anyone.

Period: End of December - beginning of January. We were accommodated in a cottage. The cottage itself is well furnished and clean, there are even 2 toilets including two showers. The water in the swimming pool and outdoor pool is too cold, we couldn't take our children with us. It is also too crowded.

The houseboat is very nice. Equipped with everything and in a great location. We wanted to spend a few days with our dogs over New Year's Eve and hoped that there wouldn't be so much partying and fireworks in a nature reserve. Unfortunately a mistake. Recommended for friends of fireworks. Definitely not recommended for nature and animal lovers or dog owners on New Year's Eve.

Nice tinyhouse in beautiful location.

Excellent campground with all or services. We had been their guests before and returned for the Christmas markets. Bus stop in front of the entrance that takes you all the way to St. Francis Gate. We will definitely stay there again.
