Mixed feelings for the following reasons: We booked 9 nights in a 2-person Tiny House. We were assigned Tiny House 404. Of course, we understand that you’re not booking the most luxurious accommodation, and that’s fine. But it’s not like they’re free. Paid over €700. But then having the pots and pans on the floor, no storage space in the “living room,” absolutely no shelf or hook in the bathroom, etc.—that makes it very, very basic. And when it turns out that the “bed” on the loft consists of two mattresses laid directly on the wooden floor, it’s not much use after just one night. This isn’t mentioned in the online description either. Note: Tiny House 400 looks much more spacious from the outside in terms of the kitchen and such, so there’s a big difference between the cottages themselves. Since we didn’t feel like sticking it out for another 8 nights (back pain, didn’t sleep a wink), we asked at the front desk the next day about options. They were helpful. The options were: different mattresses or rebooking to another accommodation. After some hesitation, we went ahead and rebooked. We paid an extra €400 for a 4-person accommodation (Cube La Mer). But hey, that’s what vacations are for. These cottages are, of course, much larger, so they have more storage space, living space, and so on, but they have a very different atmosphere than the tiny house. Less cozy, much more modern. The accommodation does have comfortable beds. And that was the most important thing for us. It was also very clean and otherwise in great shape. The food and drink options were decent to good. The menu was good. The food was tasty. The surroundings are great. Highlights include the Minto shopping mall in Mönchengladbach. About 35 minutes away. The snack bar in Tegelen on the little square is delicious. Coffee in Kaldenbach is also very cozy. There are also some small shops. Take the ferry to Baarlo and then have lunch at Maes 21. Delicious!!! Reservations are recommended. The sauna in Venlo is also very nice for a few hours. All in all, a nice area, but make sure to check what you’re booking beforehand!!!

Gemixte gevoelens vanwege het volgende: 9 nachten geboekt in Tiny house 2 personen. Kregen tiny house 404 aangewezen. Kaart was goed. Eten lekker. Omgeving is top. Aanrader is o.a Minto shopping mall in Mönchengladbach. Ongeveer 35 min.

Never again!! The vacation home wasn't cleaned, and there was damage to the furnishings. Unfortunately, it wasn't a nice vacation, and we paid a lot for it. Stay away from House 212!
