Tent is fully equipped with all amenities. Fine kitchen, spacious with wonderful shower. Fine bedrooms with closets. The campsite is super. The tents are a bit close together, little privacy. But the location is nice, close to Lake Veere and close to the facilities of the campsite.

The good news first: the vacation home (no. 321) was very nice. 3 bathrooms, one of them with a sauna cabin, and a guest toilet are luxury in a vacation home. 4 bedrooms with good mattresses and very attractive furnishings throughout the house. Lake view - wonderful! Unfortunately we didn't try the hot tub in the garden. The negative: the beach was a mud hole!!!! Nothing can be done about the waterfowl droppings, but there were probably dead fish on other parts of the shore, as other vacationers told us. The very small pool was almost in sight for us, but could have done with a clean. The information brochure was only in Dutch and English. The instructions for departure, which were stuck to the front door from the inside, were also only in Dutch and English. The park offers various additional services for a fee. Please pay close attention. The deluxe package, for example, is priced per person and therefore quite outrageous!

The small campsite is a good starting point to explore the surroundings, possibility to reach Groningen by train from Warffum. Warffum train station can be reached by bike in 8 minutes or on foot in 30 minutes. National park Lauwersoog 30min by car. The car must be parked separately at the campsite. This is not a problem, as the parking lot can be reached in 1min. If you use electrical energy for cooking, you should buy higher amperes for a small fee. Otherwise 6 ampere standard. There is nothing to complain about at the campsite. Everything is available and everything is clean.

We spent 3 nights at this super nice campground. Owner and staff very nice and helpful. Very nice new plumbing and clean. Bread service at the campsite. Just top!

Very nice campsite with small compromises. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the campsite. We would particularly like to highlight the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the wide range of activities on offer. The campsite is very family-friendly and the supermarket had everything we needed for our stay. The swimming pools were also large and in very good condition. The beach is within easy walking distance or you can hire a bike. A big compliment goes to the friendly team. Although we arrived without a reservation, the staff made every effort to organize a pitch for us. In the afternoon we were offered a pitch between two houses, which worked out well for us. Unfortunately, there was one small downside: the hedges on the campsite were infested with small white insects (probably scale insects). In principle, this is not something for which the campsite can be held directly responsible, but we wished that someone would come by after our complaint to take care of the matter. Despite asking twice at reception, no one came. When we checked out, we were then told that maintenance had not found the pitch, which was somewhat incomprehensible. The biggest problem was the sugary droppings of these insects, which heavily soiled our roof tent and equipment. We had to clean everything thoroughly when we got home, which meant extra effort that we would have liked to have spared ourselves. We were given a bottle of wine as compensation, which was nice, but didn't quite make up for the problem. Especially as I don't drink alcohol due to illness. I had hoped for a different solution.

Very nice and neat campsite. We were there in the post season, so it was already a bit quieter. We had the best spot in the trappeur tent overlooking the lake. Chilly at night, but there were good warm blankets which made it very comfortable. Staff can speak English well and is very friendly, helpful with questions about the area and we got good tips. Although it was late season, they served delicious pizza on Friday and Saturday evening. The staff creates a nice cozy atmosphere. Greetings to Theo:-)

Très chouette camping que nous recommanderons avec plaisir (entre camping-caristes !). Avec des sanitaires TRES PROPRES 🤩 bravo 👏👏 c'est si agréable. Et avec du papier toilette, ce qui est rare !!! Accueil et personnel sympas. MERCI 👍😁☀️
