Camping where everything was fine, neat sanitary facilities, friendly staff ... close to Valkenburg and Maastricht

Liked: Ideal location for those seeking relaxation and nature. The pitches are large and well spaced, and the facilities are always clean. The campground is quiet and well maintained. The proximity to the beach makes it even more special. An experience I recommend to anyone who wants to unplug.

I stayed for a total of 4 weeks in their Mobile home 6, and Berkel 2 accommodations. Do not expect anything more than what is described in the adverts - it is clean, basic, functional, warm, and provides a roof over your head. The beds are comfortable and clean. The kitchen has a sink for washing up, a good-sized fridge with a small ice box, and pots and pans for cooking on a 4-burner gas hob. there is no oven. Bring knives, forks and spoons as, depending on which accommodation you choose, they may not be provided.|The little shop has a nice selection of breads and snacks, and the essentials of food, drinks and toiletries available at a reasonable cost, should you forget to bring them, but again, reception needs to be open before you can access it. |Overall I was satisfied with the accommodations, they provided everything I needed.|The reason for only 3-stars: The most irritating aspect is the numberplate recognition system at the gate - it works maybe 20% of the time, the other times you need to call reception to get them to open the gate. If there is no-one at reception then it is hit-and-miss as to whether you get to drive your vehicle into the camp - not nice when it's pouring down rain. I got through to some-one who spoke so softly I had to keep asking for repeats. She asked for my name, telephone number, vehicle registration, how to spell my name, where I was staying. After giving her all this information she still wouldn't let me in. Later, some-one else was having the same issues.

We stayed at the campsite with a folding trailer. Even heavily pregnant and with 2 small children, this was a wonderful vacation and fine camping. We were there at the beginning of the summer vacations, so it was still relatively quiet. The sites are large and beautiful between the trees. The cottages are mostly used, but camping was really nice. Toilet buildings are within walking distance, and even though it is on a hill, well manageable also for the kids. It is a clear campsite where small children can play well around the tent. The pool was small, but very nice, with a soft bottom and sloping. The paddling pool was also fine, where they could play by themselves. The pizzas from the restaurant are highly recommended! Incredibly delicious! The sandwich service is also very nice. The terrace is nice to sit down and have a drink. The indoor space is a bit limited, but with rain there is plenty to do in the area if you are by car. The toilet blocks are neat, nice showers too. Cleaning is done several times a day. The staff is extremely friendly, I have not experienced it like this before. Very helpful and kind to the children. There are fun activities for little ones, tips for activities in the area and plenty to do in the surroundings. The area is beautiful anyway. You are so in Switzerland. Beautiful places nearby to go to Lake Geneva. And in Divonne itself are plenty of stores, supermarkets, bakeries etc. There are seasonal workers staying in the cottages, but that doesn't bother you. There are regular checks on the property. As the campsite got busier the pool did get a bit on the crowded side and the wcs and showers did get dirtier. The campground didn't seem quite set up for peak season crowds. But that was certainly not due to (the efforts of) the staff. It is also up to guests themselves to leave the toilet and shower tidy and to adapt to the others. All in all, a wonderful stay!

Neat campsite, but no nice animation team. Zat no atmosphere in. Nice plumbing and get cleaned often. Small places. You sit with your tent / caravan almost at your neighbors just fits a car along ... this we found a big minus point. And for children up to 8/9 years fun but then not really more .... otherwise many free tennis court etc. Pools also simple. No control of rules....

The cottage looked clean . Nearby there is not much you have to walk 3 kilometers for the first village .

Brilliant touring site under new management. Simple booking and check-in. EHU, loos and showers.

Four of us spent a weekend at the vacation park and were very satisfied. The bedroom is very nice, the children's room a bit small for adults, but okay for 2 nights. As we left on a Sunday, it was no problem to check out a little later than 10am. Thank you, Deborah.
