I arrived later than the reception was open but had not received an email. Eventually an employee came and helped me. Very nice! The cottage was clean and also warm. The only downside is that they are very noisy. If someone is standing next to them talking it is as if the person is in the cottage. You must be able to stand the noise of the road that is there 24/7. But then again, you're not in the middle of the Ardennes.

I was here for a not so nice reason. This was the only thing left free to book on Wednesday. I had to go immediately because I had to arrange a funeral for my mother. I'm from Limburg. I came in an oak lodge. Looks fine and great. However, practice is different. Some things are not really thought about. Storage space when you would go with 4 people for a week is not there. Impractical was the sofa. The only side rail was against TV. The 2 chairs within 15 minutes back pain. Bedroom so small that when you have a large shoe size, he cannot put the feet crosswise next to bed to sit down before lying down. The microwave oven at a height that you have to lift overhead. It is pitch black at the park so I did not feel safe. A store for daily things is also not there but Rijssen is close by. I have linked the 1 and other back with 't Mölke. And got a quick response. Lighting they will link back directly. And the rest is being considered. Staff is friendly the times I spoke to them. Environment so I don't have much to say about it but know that. I managed there and possibly the circumstances that made me notice all the little things and experience them as discomfort because I wasn't relaxed either. I won't be going back there anytime soon. Certainly not until there are other things to rent that are practical and comfortable.

The place is perfect for a vacation, a few kilometers from the city and crowds in the pine forest. The premises are clean, the kitchen is fully equipped and you have your own parking space. We received the wrong code for the ramp at the entrance and when we wrote an email, no one responded, so we waited every day for someone to pass by and open the ramp for us, that's a minus.

We have been coming to the Paalberg for 3 years. Friends and family had been there before. After purchasing a touring caravan ourselves we have been there 3 years in a row. The May vacations and the entire summer vacations. It is a nice campsite, where especially for the younger children there is a lot of animation. 6 days a week there is a program. There is a cozy indoor pool for when the days are colder and a great outdoor pool for the warmer days. The supermarket is not open all day but the cozy village is less than a 10 minute bike ride away. The sites are spacious and it is a car-free park (disabled card excepted) so you have little to worry about your kids biking or go-karting around. We and the kids like it there so much that we bought a chalet through VDB Groep and are stuck there from next year. Also with VDB Groep you can have nice conversations and they are happy to help you with your suitable wishes!

The surroundings and the waterways for fishing.

A nice place to get away from the daily grind. It was snowing during our stay which of course made it really beautiful. Cottages are all in all nicely taken care of and you have everything you need. BUT: - You have to wait for a van in the parking lot to take your stuff to your cottage. All nice, but not when you have to wait half an hour in the rain. I understand that it can be busier, but this is something the organizers should just adapt to. - When checking out, you are not allowed to take your car to the cottage. So you have to plow through the mud with your stuff yourself. No problem for young people, but be sure to be aware of this. It sounds nice to say that they want to keep the peace with this, but of course the staff is allowed to continuously tour around with their vans. Have your cabs run electric if you really want to keep the peace. - If you have a cottage with a hot tub, they try to sell you an insurance of 50 euros if you do something wrong, otherwise they threaten to charge you 2500 euros. It almost scares you to start. I understand this is all expensive equipment, but the communication could be a little more customer friendly. - Even before we had to leave our cottage at 10:30am, someone came by an hour beforehand with new bedding for the next guests. I then wonder if that really can't wait a little while to respect privacy a bit. - When leaving, you have to take away the bedding, take away garbage and go get wood for the next guests. So surely you expect that something more can be done for you for the price you had to pay. In my eyes, as a respectful guest, you are paying the price for those who make a mess of the house. Cherry on the cake, if you don't do or haven't done those and those things, you should also expect to be compensated. - Just bring as much food and drink from home as possible or go to the Spar 5 minutes away. Everything on the property to eat is really ridiculously expensive. Anyway, there is a profit to be made. Keep in mind that in winter the cottage will cool down tremendously at night, warming up takes at least a good hour. With the presence of a few cats, it was all super cozy. We definitely enjoyed it and all in all it's a really nice place that I would recommend to try out, but I don't think we will come back here.

Every year we go on a family week or weekend with our family. This year it was Oester dam and that turned out to be a good idea. Despite the bad weather we still enjoyed our time here and ate delicious breakfast at the resort itself. The cottages are well maintained so definitely recommended.

We would not post anything here, but the concession after contact for the terrible 10 days is to whine €50. I have to agree many people how dirty and unsafe it was there! Many times without power. I had unfortunately not read these reviews otherwise we would have gone somewhere else. First time with Topparks, but NEVER again. It was a big disappointment and that for both of us 70th anniversary. The staff is nothing to say they do their best. Unfortunately they can not do more! Not a single night's rest got next to us sat ... you know who come and go working here, etc. ... They took nothing into account even though they had been warned. We went home early.||It was really a cold shower, never experienced and we go to many cottages in a year but this pfffffffffffffffff.

If this camping village on tripadvisor has gone from 4 and a half pellets to 3 and a half pellets a question should be asked... after more than 30 years it has managed to run off five families in one fell swoop ... of good remains only the shade, the animation and being on the sea and a beach very varied between pebble sand and rocks, the sea is beautiful but this year at one stage we found it even polluted by a brown slime leaked from the river in front. The sour notes are skyrocketing prices of everything .. mobilhome ... restaurant (also not excellent) ... market ...(the eurospin in santa teresa saved us) bar ... even the prices of the pitches are above average, another sore point is the complete absence of sports : in order to make a meaningless water park as well far from the sea and adjacent to the car travel road they have removed the soccer field, volleyball court and bocce courts, also there is no longer a beach volleyball court and gym for doing exercises, only two dilapidated tennis courts are left and who flood during floods and remain flooded unusable for days and the ping pong tables, in addition, this year we also found the public toilets dirty and with bad weather the campsite flooded in a spot adjacent to the sea. Maybe the water park is fine for families with young children but families with teens and teenagers and teens themselves in their twenties to thirties without any proposal slowly you lose them all!!!

The resort of separate apartments is actually beautiful. The 3 out of 5 was as non Dutch speaking visitors it was a bit tough navigating getting to town or running errands i.e. getting food and grocery due to location. One uber driver got completely lost. But the facility provides ebikes for rent. Perhaps better planning next time on that front. Would absolutely recommend and would visit again with better transportation plans in place 😀

Too bad rules are so closed. Have lived in drenthe for a long time. But unfortunately the prejudices remain. Very closed in thinking and doing
