Thijmse Berg is a beautiful park with various facilities. The whole place looks neat and the reception area is also nice. The area has many opportunities for hiking and recreation. The staff is friendly and helpful when there are questions or problems.

We stayed there for a few nights at the beginning of October - a really nice place. It was easy to arrive even after opening hours with the help of a key box. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The sanitary buildings were clean and in good working order. The public transport connections are good. We would have given it 5 stars, but there was one downside - the airport is in the immediate vicinity. This means that airplanes fly over the site at regular intervals. These are not very loud but are clearly audible even in a closed vehicle. Would we come again? Yes :-)

We had a wonderful weekend here. The contact via email/app is super friendly and nice. The cottage is clean and nicely decorated. The pool in the garden is a wonderful luxury

Unfortunately, the pitch is under water when it rains.

We had intended this campsite as a place to pass through. But then we discovered the restaurant and simply had to stay another night. The food on offer is wonderful and attracts visitors from further afield. We were there at the end of September and there is inevitably a lot of space on a campsite - but the restaurant was always full.

Nice cottages and nicely located in nature. A few kilometers away a shopping center. A nice restaurant and indoor pool, unfortunately everything closed at 20.00.

We spent 3 nights here before our return journey. Little going on at the beginning of November and therefore very nice and quiet. Sanitary always found clean. There was toilet paper and hot water for washing up, not a matter of course.

We stayed on this campsite with the motorhome from 29.10. to 05.11.2024. During this time there was a major flood disaster around Valencia, where we actually wanted to go. We received a friendly welcome and were allowed to choose a pitch. Warnings were also issued here several times via app. The campsite gave us extensive information about escape routes etc. and offered us the chance to move into a mobile home free of charge during the disaster. We and 13 other campers were allowed to stay, but other campers were not allowed on the site for a few days. At night, a friendly young man came to collect the garbage and asked: Is everything OK with you? We felt safe on this site and will be back :) Many thanks for everything!

A very nice park. Small and nice and quiet. Beautifully situated on the Sallandse Heuvelrug, where you can enjoy hiking and biking. Well-equipped cottages with all amenities. We had a cottage with jacuzzi, Sun shower and sauna. We had a great time. Highly recommended.

En camping car

Over expensive not corresponds the expected quality. Unhealthy Czech food in restaurant. Pretty nature around location and the river fishing place. Quiet nights. Good for family with children.
