Camping La ClémentineOn the whole, a lovely, quiet campsite surrounded by trees, with a very beautiful lagoon. Unfortunately, there are several negative points in my opinion: there's no surveillance at the pool and lagoon (a security guard comes by every now and then for a few minutes), as a result all the prohibitions stipulated on the signs at the entrance are not respected: everyone wears swimming shorts, some people swim in T-shirts, ball games land on people's heads and we saw a man smoking a joint in the lagoon 🤐. The pool is pretty but clearly old-fashioned, damaged wading pool bottom and broken coping stones. More than 50% of the campsite is of foreign nationality, lots of Dutch so language barrier. There's not much to do around the campsite, as Alès is not a pretty town. Very noisy restaurant, only open in the evening. Snack bar at lunchtime, but regularly lacking products. Hardly any entertainment. Wifi only works if you're close to reception, no Free network. Too bad for a 4-star hotel.

Joli camping dans l'ensemble au calme au milieu des arbres, très beau lagon. malheureusement plusieurs points négatifs selon moi : pas de surveillance à la piscine et au lagon (un vigile passe de temps en temps quelques minutes) résultat tout les interdits stipulés sur les panneaux à l'entrée ne sont pas respectés : tout le monde porte des shorts de bain, certains se baignent en tee shirt, jeux de ballon qui atterrissent sur la tête des gens et nous avons vu un homme fumer un joint dans le lagon 🤐. La piscine est jolie mais clairement vieillotte, fond de la pataugeoire abimé et margelles cassées. Plus de 50% du camping est de nationalité étrangère, beaucoup de Hollandais donc barrière de la langue. A savoir qu'il n y a pas grand chose à faire aux alentours du camping, Alès n'est vraiment pas une jolie ville. Restaurant très bruyant, ouvert uniquement le soir. Snack le midi mais régulièrement des produits manquants. Quasiment aucune animations. Le wifi ne fonctionne que si vous êtes à proximité de l'accueil, pas de réseau Free. Dommage pour un 4 étoiles.
