Beautiful and fine clamping tents, spacious field

Just had the opportunity to spend a vacation in vacation park Tusken de Marren. Due to wrong booking on our part, we were in a cottage that was not suitable for the composition of our family. Although it was our own fault, the Tusken de Marren team did ALL they could to make sure we could move to another cottage. Team is not only tremendously helpful, but does so in an overwhelmingly friendly manner! Park is a great base for cruising on the Sneekermeer and passing all the lovely terraces. So renting a sloop is a must, but that is also possible through the boat rental next to the park. Cottages are fully equipped. The only tip we can give is to check the cottages every so often for small defects and mosquitoes on the walls that have been squashed by tenants.

28€ per night for 2 people with a tent and electricity, to shower with cold water at 7pm, toilet paper dispenser constantly empty, WIFI no longer available... it's very expensive. To be told by the manager that we should look elsewhere is the icing on the cake.

Family campsite, quiet and suitable for a family. We had a great 15 days. The team is top-notch, and the entertainment on offer: kids' club (2 hours in the morning), a themed evening in the evening, and a soccer or petanque tournament on certain days, means that everyone can get together without there being too much going on and it being noisy for those who don't take part. Well done to the team! If you're looking for a relaxing vacation in a family-run campsite, go for it! This is the ideal campsite.

We stayed in the camping car area at the front of the main campsite. It is one of the best camping areas we have been to. Maybe even the best! We had a hard standing plus grass area that was tastefully separated with lovely bushes and flowers around. We had a view of the stables and horses. There are toilets and showers (50 cents) and washing up facilities in this area but you can also put a 5 euro deposit down for a pass to the main campsite toilets and showers (which are free;). Everything was spotlessly clean. This area also houses the washing machines/driers which you'll need the pass for (but you'll get your 5 euros back in return of your pass) You can also use the swimming pool which was great! Albeit a bit cold but we used it several times as the weather was hot. There is an excellent playground for the kiddies too with a bouncy castle and also a kids club but we were not with kids. We also ate in the restaurant. The pizza and chips were excellent! We shared one between us as it was huge. And the same for the ice cream they were enormous too (but we didn't share that!😁) It cost just under 30 euros for 1 pizza, 1 chips, 1 beer, 1 coke and 2 ice creams. The location was excellent. The cycle track was straight out of the campsite and once you crossed the road and cycled through the woods, you were on the dam cycle track with a view of the wind turbines which was quite spectacular. It was an easy ride to the town of Urk with its lighthouse and harbour where we stopped at the ice cream parlour below the restaurant. The beach is very slim along the track but opens up in places where there's playground equipment and it's great for swimming. No huge waves! You could cycle for miles around here! The staff were so helpful, friendly and informative too. We would definitely recommend this campsite and give it 5 /5*

By camper van very welcoming staff the campsite was very pleasant before Now the campsite is hosting very large numbers of travellers. These people respect nothing, they fight, break the campsite equipment, have broken into and stolen the cash register from the laundry and reception, and in the swimming pool they swim fully clothed, which should be normal! The police are called every other day. It's a shame that such a beautiful family campsite is falling into disrepair. It doesn't make you want to come back with young children because you don't feel safe. Too bad

Nice and spacious.

Nice that Huttopia has taken over, you notice that more maintenance is taking place and there is a good atmosphere. Points of interest: 1. Let the cleaners also clean the gas stations and the connections to them, for 2500 euros it is not wrong if you book a location that everything is clean. 2. Prefer to refuse dogs, or hand out fines to dog owners who let the dog pee on a large field, there are many children playing on the same grass. Am sure if I go to pee on that field I will be addressed immediately. 3. For kids more activities from yourselves instead of those who come here and organize things on their own without supervision. Superb campsite... a little green pearl in the south-west, magnificently planted with trees! Varied, quality activities! A very friendly and competent team! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful swimming pool, shady pitches, quiet campsite. Please note that there are very few tent/camping car pitches and therefore no services for camping cars (grey water emptying/drinking water refilling). For this, you'll have to go a few kilometers to Vinezac, where there's a parking area.
