Cute village in its small very suitable for children and families but bathrooms and showers absolutely need to be taken care of much more in cleaning as already in the early morning they were smelly and dirty.( I have been in other 4 stars and the bathrooms were up to a 5 if not beyond) Our pitch was completely in the sun and ok for a couple of nights you can stand. Unacceptable that at 2:30 a.m. the mosquito pest control tractor passes by waking up the whole campground from the noise. Otherwise good food great ice cream nothing to say

Nice campground. Accommodations they are good. Miss only cushions for outdoor chairs. And outdoor chairs are not suitable to sit on for a long time. And some chalets are almost next to basketball court =playground. So much can be busy. Especially if there smorgen for 8 is already gebaskeltbald

Great stay in the American Hollywood caravan! Very warm welcome, delicious home-cooked meals in the restaurant and in the caravan basket. Very good discussions with the owners, I recommend

Spent 12 nights here. Ex municipal site now run by Seasonova. Very reasonable. Two toilet blocks both very clean, hot showers. Toilet paper! Enormous pitches. Not all pitches are shaded, though some are amongst trees. Couldn’t believe how quiet the site is. Staff told us it gets busy only at weekends when it was full. Weekdays in July was only 10% occupied. One corner of site is used for kids camps, tiny kids and very well behaved. Reception will order bread for you but for most other stuff you will need to go out. Mobile reception for us (Smarty and O2) was poor but there is variable Wi-Fi at reception. There’s lots of walking and mountain biking in the forest. It’s about 400m walk to the sandy beach with supervised swimming in the lake, though after hot weather the water depth was not much more than 1m. Good to cool off in. We paddle boarded from the launch ramp right by the camping. Sailing school with lots of hire options. Huttopia camping on the other side of lake is completely in shade and further from beach though does have a very small pool. You’d be a fool to go there instead of here. Beach has two restaurants and take away chips (€6 for large enough box for three adults). Nearby town small but has a good size Super U. About 40 mins from Le Mans and same to Laval. On edge of Alpes Mancelle. But not huge amount to do in area. This is a rest up, quiet, calming sort of place. We loved it. Please note no barbecues (even gas) allowed because of fire risk in dense forest.

The park is remote and the nearest town is five kilometers away. The accommodation is not yet old. It has air conditioning. The layout is suitable for two adults and two children. You have to bring your luggage to the accommodation by trolley as the park is car-free. Unfortunately, the accommodation was on a road and a few cars drove past during the day. You have to buy everything yourself as there is no store in the park. There is an ice cream van on Tuesday and a snack van on Thursday. Large bouncy area for children. We had an accident and they helped us.

I loved my 3 days at Rostig, the perfect amount of time to unwind. It was everything I had wanted. The place is very quiet, no party place but rather a relaxing spot. Everything by is beautiful. I brought my own food and was glad I did (you can use a gas stove and pans there), I don’t recommend getting their buffet (although breakfast seemed ok). One thing that wasn’t mentioned is that there is a beautiful bar next the reception with snacks and drinks owned by lovely people. I enjoyed the kayaks and SUPs + daily yoga sessions (if you’re advanced, don’t expect a workout but rather nice relaxation - beware it might be all in Dutch as it seems to be the main guest nationality). Comments for Rostig: Things to improve: signs to get to the reception (unclear and makes the arrival a bit stressful), pans are all worn out with visible scratches, there was often just one dish soap liquid bottle for 5 sinks, and just a personal preference but there were a lot of webs and while I get we’re in nature, it would be nice to clear them out in the main pathways.

Super nice park. Nice cottages. Everything you need is in them. Nice pool both inside and outside.

Dog poop on wooden decking near shower building. I am a dog fan but if people do this again stop having dogs. Also little or no parking beyond the barrier.

One week spent at camping de la Prade, the welcome is warm, the pitch for our caravan was perfect the location beautiful, quiet and relaxing 😉❤️ we loved it, thank you very much 👌

Very good stay, good welcome, everything you need: swimming pool - clean sanitary facilities - children's play area... I recommend.
