Truly complete facility, situated in a great location close to Populonia, the picturesque Gulf of Baratti and the beloved town of San Vincenzo.|Hu Park Albatros is a real "village" with inside everything you may need and more: supermarket, parapharmacy, doctor available at certain hours of the day, street food, take-away pizza, ice cream shop, restaurant/pizzeria, bar with evening entertainment, maxi screen where you can watch the games, great checkers and chess, pin pong table, an adventure park created in the pine forest (..with 3 levels of difficulty) and last but not least the 6 swimming pools with comfortable deckchairs and umbrellas suitable for children, teens, adults! The cottages are comfortable, each with adjacent parking.|Animation x all always present but never intrusive: muscle awakening, water aerobics, tournaments, baby dance, shows and a disco "self-managed" by the kids always controlled by a security service. |We look forward to coming back!!!!

Before you stay after the pearl goes our advice is to first call or email if there are no parties (weddings).|We have explicitly selected a park for the rest, because we have a baby of 3 months sitting.||Helast we were told upon arrival that the entire weekend the restaurant and beach bar was closed because of a wedding, (This wedding we heard from beginning to end (until late in the evening! )||This meant that we had to eat and drink from the park and thus depended on the surrounding restaurants and stores.|Normally we like to go out, but with a baby of a few months is just a little different.|before we booked we have paid attention to whether there is a restaurant etc. would sit at the park. not convenient for us and our baby.|We have reported this complaint at the reception, but got little response.|had had more complaints about noise from the wedding.|The park itself is neat, our cottage was clean.|Date of stay September 6/7/8/9

Very nice medium-sized campsite with very friendly owners. Large pitches, clean sanitary facilities and own restaurant. We will be back.

The campground does not have a great look to me. Good place to walk hiking trails though.

We had booked this campground after a previous positive experience at hu Montescudaio Village in Tuscany. Unfortunately, the experience at Altomincio Village was a lot less. The mobile homes are fine, but unfortunately are very close together (which is probably also the reason why this park is car-free, because then they can fit more caravans on the same area). At least it's not for safety, as the staff drives back and forth in electric golf carts, so you constantly have to jump the shoulder when walking along the "car-free" paths. When there is a quiet family next to you, the small distance between the caravans is not such a problem. But in our case, after a few days the campground was overrun by 100s of German youths who came there to camp (in 10 or so touring cars) and then there was noise every day until late at night. So not really a relaxing family vacation. The pool is nice though, with several slides and a soft bottom. But they don't keep the swimming water too clean (lots of sand, leaves and flies in and around the water). Also, several times we saw hefty rats coming from under the decking by the pool. That the staff goes into houses during the day when guests are not present, we have also seen it happen (handyman with cart 173 I'm talking about you) and does not really give a safe feeling. So for us probably the last time on vacation with hu. We understand that a campsite is not a charity, but to cram half of the cottages with school classes (and who knows, maybe next year it will be asylum seekers or seasonal workers), that's just contempt towards the families you lure with the image of a relaxing family vacation.

Twice the price of any other campsite, even off peak. human faeces and hyperopic needle found on our plot. Will not be returning.
