Nice campsite with many trees and various nationalities. Our son of 10 is having a great time

Very nicely located campsite in a beautiful forest, close to the beach (with sand and rocks, not for swimming), lots of shade due to the many trees. The sandy beaches (Plage de Rémigeasse or Plage de Vert Bois are 10 minutes by bike). Nevertheless, there were also a lot of downsides. Our pitch was not that big, although I had paid extra for an extra large, spacious pitch. We really had to puzzle to get everything on it (caravan + tent + car). The ground consisted of soft sand with soil, which immediately made everything very dirty. Luckily it wasn't raining, otherwise this would have immediately become a mud puddle. Also the path at the end (near our pitch) was very difficult to walk on because of the sand. You couldn't cycle on it because you were sinking. What I also found unfortunate was that there was no tap near our pitch. We had to walk far to the plumbing (which was so far) to get water. Also the reception (only place with wifi) was very far. The advantage of being so far away was that we had little noise, because at the terrace there was a lot of noise from screaming children running through the covered area of the terrace. Maybe an idea to remove the soccer table there, so people can sit there quietly? We didn't use the bike rental, we went to another bike rental because you can't reserve the bikes and they have to be back at the campsite by 7pm. You can't reserve them for several days. The plumbing was sometimes clean, sometimes dirty. It was very crowded at the campsite then. The showers were moderate (sometimes too hot, sometimes too cold). The island itself is very nice for surfing and biking. There are nice bike paths everywhere between the charming villages. Maybe I will come back to Ile d,Oléron again, but then I will probably try another campsite. I didn't find this price-quality one so super anyway, because it was quite expensive all the same.

Very shady and pleasant campsite. Very well organized and clean. Very pleasant entertainment and activities. Very competent and friendly staff. I've been coming to this campsite for 3 years (accommodation or pitch) and I'll be delighted to come back next year!

Experience of 10! We have spent two days with our young son in which we have been able to enjoy a lot of nature and animals and facilities in perfect condition. We would like to highlight the tranquility, the good treatment by the staff, the cleanliness and care of each area of the campsite. Thank you, Camping Begur team, for your dedication and work. Thanks to this, our experience has been unbeatable. We are looking forward to coming back, but next time it will be more days for sure!!!! Thank you very much for everything.

We enjoyed our 1st stay at this campsite enormously. Family campsite with a good atmosphere, friendly and smiling staff, beautiful pitches and the privacy of the mobile homes preserved thanks to the layout. Proximity to the beach, very affordable rates, calm and cleanliness.... these are all the advantages of this campsite to which I would return next year. Thanks again to all the team

Nice campsite, sanitary very clean, nice staff.

Overall had a very nice time at the campground. My friend and I slept in a tent and were allowed to choose where we wanted to sleep because there were many places left. We chose a place in the forest. This was very relaxing so we really had a nice time together. So there are several positive points, but definitely some work points as well. Positives: - Staff is very friendly and helpful. The majority speaks Dutch. - We were allowed to choose our own sites, there was an opportunity for sleeping in the woods or on a regular camp site. The ground does often slope. - The pool was clean and cool. There are no sun beds though, which was a shame. Work points: - The plumbing works and it is clean, but it is outdated (in my opinion). There is no toilet paper and tokens are used. There are also a lot of bugs in nooks and crannies. - The opening hours are not completely consistent with how it is marked. Also the staff gave wrong opening hours. - For children there are not many activities to do at the campground itself, so I definitely recommend bringing games or sports equipment. There are a few things to do in the area though.

Beautiful campsite in a word there is nothing to criticize.

The Motion 670 is a great boat. The electric motor controlled from the cockpit is super comfortable.
