Camping Al Lago di LagoGreat campsite, pet friendly, near a small lake. There is a pathway around the lake but it was flooded in May. You can go paddling or kayaking on the lake. There is minigolf in the camp but it is closed and neglected at the moment, it would be nice to be able to play there. The house rules are straightforward, staff is helpful, so overall it is a good place for camping. Showers and toilets could be a bit better (water overflowing, broken handle on the door, dark booths)

Camping Val d'OrWe stayed at this beautiful site in Luxembourg with our 17-year-old son over the long weekend. The access to the site is great, check-in is easy and the location is really nice. If you have any questions, you can always contact the staff and get information quickly. The site is in a good location for cycling / motorcycling. There is a small stream running through the site, which divides the site into north and south halves. This can be crossed on foot / by bike via a bridge. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and not enough for a busy weekend. They are cleaned once a day, but due to the high frequency, you don't notice anything in the afternoon/evening. In the southern half there is only a small sanitary container with 2 toilets, which in my opinion is clearly not enough. Cars are parked in a separate parking lot, at least in the southern half, where it can get very crowded. All in all, we enjoyed our vacation, but in retrospect the sanitary facilities are a problem. The restaurant has a nice outdoor area and the adjoining chip shop saved us from starvation from time to time.

Wir waren mit unserem 17-jährigen Sohn über das lange Wochenende auf diesem schönen Platz in Luxemburg. Die Anfahrt zum Platz funktioniert super, das Checkin ist problemlos und die Lage ist wirklich schön gelegen. Für Fragen kann man sich immer an das Personal wenden und bekommt schnell eine Auskunft. Zum Fahrrad- / Motorradfahren hat der Platz eine gute Lage. Es fließt ein kleiner Bach durch das Gelände, den der Platz in Nord und Südhälfte teilt. Dieser kann zu Fuß / mit dem Rad durch eine Brücke überquert werden. Die Sanitäranlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bei einem gut besuchten Wochenende zu wenig. Gereinigt wird einmal am Tag, aber durch die hohe Frequenz merkt man davon am Nachmittag / Abend leider nichts mehr. In der Südhälfte steht nur ein kleiner Sanitärcontainer mit 2 Toiletten, das ist in meinen Augen eindeutig zu wenig. Autos stellt man zumindest in der Südhälfte auf einen separaten Parkplatz, auf dem es schonmal sehr eng zugeht. Allen in allem haben wir den Urlaub genossen, nur im Nachhinein bleibt das halt mit dem Sanitär hängen. Die Gaststätte hat einen schönen Außenbereich und auch die angrenzende Pommesbude hat uns ab und an vor dem Verhungern gerettet.

Camping Le SequoiaNice campground in a beautiful area! Pool top with nice slides for the kids. The separate lagoon is really a nice addition! Walking distance from the village with bakery and small supermarket. Animation fun, though in French/English but our kids didn't mind :) Nice weekly local market with local products Tasty pizzas and cocktails!

Leuke camping in een mooi gebied! Zwembad top met leuke glijbanen voor de kinderen. De losse lagune is echt een leuke toevoeging! Loopafstand van het dorpje met o.a bakker en kleine supermarkt. Animatie leuk, wel in het Frans/Engels maar dat vonden onze kinderen niet erg :) Leuk wekelijks een lokaal marktje met streek producten Lekkere pizza's en cocktails!

Camping Monti del SoleFantastic!!!!! We were so impressed by this camping within trees and a wonderful natural landscape. We stayed there for 1 night with campervan and felt so welcome! Angela is the best host and Paolo so friendly and helpful!!! Hope we can return one day to stay more and enjoy this wonderful place!!!

Camping ElbelingIt is a very nice campsite, it is quiet and idyllic. The operators are very friendly, we stood in front of the barrier, the price was okay except for the tourist tax, which has absolutely no justification here. We paid it, but only reluctantly. I then contacted the district authorities to find out that the municipality is not entitled to charge a visitor's tax and the responsible authority wants to take care of this unjustified matter. I really hope so for the operator, as you can't simply collect something that has no legal basis and certainly not without a receipt. We were told that the tourist tax would be for the renewal of the road. No tourist tax in the world can be used for this and tourist tax is something to be offered and not just to be collected to fill the municipal coffers.

Es ist ein sehr schöner Campingplatz, es ist ruhig und idyllische. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich, haben vor der Schranke gestanden, der Preis war okay bis auf die Kurtaxe die hier absolut keine Berechtigung hat. Wir haben sie bezahlt, aber nur widerwillig. Anschließend habe ich mich beim Landkreis informiert, die Gemeinde ist nicht berechtigt eine Kurtaxe zu erheben, die zuständige Behörde will sich um diese unberechtigte Sache kümmern. Ich hoffe es sehr für den Betreiber, da mann nicht einfach etwas einziehen kann, was keine rechtliche Grundlage hat und schon gar nicht ohne Quittung. Uns wurde gesagt, die Kurtaxe wäre für die Erneuerung der Straße. Dafür ist keine Kurtaxe der Welt zu verwenden und für Kurtaxe ist auch etwas zu bieten und nicht nur zu kassieren um die Gemeindekasse zu füllen.

Huttopia Beaulieu sur DordogneA truly nature-oriented campsite, with quality facilities, well integrated into the environment. The campsite is on an island between the Dordogne and a small canal. The bar is ideally located next to a children's play area. The swimming pool is perfectly suited to children, with a small pool and lots of slide-type games. On the downside, it was a bit chilly in early May.

Un camping vraiment axé nature, des installations de qualité, bien intégré à l’environnement. Le camping est sur une île entre La Dordogne et un petit canal. Le bar est idéalement situé à côté d’une aire de jeu pour les enfants. La piscine est parfaitement adaptées aux enfants, il y a un petit bassin avec pleins de jeux type toboggan. Petit bémol, en ce début mai il était un peu froid.
