Camping Seasonova Les Portes d'AlsaceAs a solo cyclist, I stayed at the campsite for one night. Beautiful tent meadow with sun and shade. Sanitary facilities very good and very clean. The snack bar remained closed, but a crêpe trolley came that evening. Small, covered swimming pool, but I didn't use it. Two small disadvantages: there's no chance of a coffee in the morning either. And the site is quite high up on a slope - it's a sweaty drive!

Als Solo-Radler war ich für eine Nacht auf dem Camping. Schöne Zeltwiese mit Sonne und Schatten. Sanitäranlagen sehr gut und sehr sauber. Die Snackbar blieb geschlossen, dafür kam an dem Abend ein Crêpe-Wagen. Kleines, überdachtes Schwimmbad, das ich aber nicht genutzt habe. Zwei kleine Nachteile: es gibt auch morgens keine Chance auf einen Kaffee. Und der Platz liegt ordentlich hoch am Hang - die Anfahrt ist schweißtreibend!

Camping de Zeven HeuveltjesWith the new owners, a fresh wind is blowing over the campground. Today Saturday, May 11, there was a busy food truck fest. There are now amenities such as takeout baked sandwiches there is a fryer cart for hot snacks. All in all, high praise for the new owners. Met de nieuwe eigenaars waait er een frisse wind over de camping. Vandaag zaterdag 11 mei was er een druk bezochte foodtruck festijn. Er zijn nu voorzieningen zoals het afhalen afgebakken broodjes er staat een frituurkar voor de warme snacks. Al met al veel lof voor de nieuwe eigenaren. De camping is zeker met deze voorzieningen en het zwembad wat aanwezig is op de camping een 5 sterren waard.

Camping De Gouwe StekNice little campground, simple plumbing. Management friendly, but rigid. For example, in very wet weather and an almost empty campground, we were not allowed to take a spot that was not flooded. Also the end time was very fixed, so we had to get up early to leave on time. We are not used to this elsewhere.

Mooi campinkje, eenvoudig sanitair. Management vriendelijk, maar bepaald star. Zo mochten wij, bij zeer nat weer en een bijna lege camping, geen plek nemen die niet onder water stond. Ook de eindtijd was heel vast, zodat wij vroeg op moesten staan om op tijd weg te kunnen zijn. Zo zijn wij dat elders niet gewend.

Camping Saint AmandA family campsite on a human scale, with particularly pleasant staff. Stayed over the May 8th long weekend. The campsite is located a little way from the hustle and bustle of the gorges themselves (15 min drive) and lets you enjoy the pleasures of the region without suffering the effects of over-tourism. The lodge tent we rented was magnificent, and the children and the children were able to enjoy pools to their great delight. I'd definitely recommend it.

Camping familial et à taille humaine, personnel particulièrement agréable. Séjour durant le long week-end du 8 mai. Le camping est Situé un petit peu à l'écart de la cohue des gorges proprement dites (15 min de route) et vous permet de profiter des plaisirs de la région sans subir les effets du surtourisme. La tente lodge que nous avions louée était magnifique et les enfants ont pu profiter des piscines pour leur plus grand plaisir. Je recommande.

Camping Le RoptaiRental of a 1950s camping cottage. It's safe to say that the chalet hasn't changed a bit since then. Asbestos roof? Bunk bed with no ladder or safety rail, so unusable. No mattress covers. A rickety kitchen that's coming loose everywhere. A rusty propane cooking system. 1.5cm of daylight in the doors, single-glazed windows (broken and taped back together).... More like a forest cabin than a campsite. Pay showers Miserable water flow in WC Sandpit completely grassed over. Plus points: lots of trees, friendly welcome (but limited information and instructions).

Location d'un chalet de camping des années 50. Autant dire que le chalet n'a pas du bouger depuis. Toit en amiante ? Lit superposé sans échelle ni barrière de sécurité donc inexploitable. Pas d'alèses sur les matelas. Une cuisine bancale qui se détache de partout. Un système de cuisson au propane rouilllé. 1.5cm de jour au niveau des portes, les fenêtres en simple vitrage (cassé et recollé au scotch).... Plus une cabane forestière qu'une prestation de camping. Douches payantes Débit d'eau misérable aux WC Bac a sable completement enherbé. Les + : très arboré, accueil sympathique (mais infos et consignes limités).
