A lakeside campsite with fishing, walking and cycling possibilities. Friendly welcome, large pitches with or without shade depending on your wishes, small grocery store, bread in the morning, games room. On the other hand, the cleaning of the sanitary facilities was not top-notch during our stay: during the Pentecost weekend, there was no daily cleaning of the 2 blocks and no paper in the toilets, which were left without paper after 3 days. Surely a lack of staff at that time and a problem corrected in high season, too bad for us, these are important criteria in a campsite.

Never go there with a boat. Harbor entrance at low tide is about 30 cm. and nothing is signposted. Why don't you guys take the trouble to put up a sign or something. Not only shallow, but stones in the middle of the harbor entrance.

Review: Unfortunately, we absolutely cannot recommend this campsite. We wanted to visit good friends who had already checked in there the day before. After a long, late-night journey - leaving at half past twelve and arriving at half past nine in the morning - we were full of anticipation for a nice vacation and breakfast with our friends. We completed all the formalities at reception: we handed in our personal details, entered our nights, everything as it should be. The wristbands that identify us as guests of the campsite were also put on straight away. Up to this point, everything was fine. Then the problems began: We were not allowed to camp right next to our friends as we had requested, as we were traveling with a tent and car and the site supposedly did not allow this. We accepted that of course - every campsite has its rules. However, we were allocated a different pitch, where high-voltage work was taking place at the time of our arrival. So we asked at reception to just get any pitch that we could use. Instead of a solution, the lady at reception - possibly the manager or operator of the site - met us with an unfriendliness and arrogance that I have rarely experienced in tourism. There was no concession, no empathy, no understanding for our situation. In the end, we were even insulted as "stupid tourists" who "have no idea". We were shocked by this disrespectful tone. After all, it is precisely these "tourists" who make sure with their money that this place can be run at all. It was clear to us that we didn't want to spend our vacation here under such conditions. Our friends also decided to leave the campsite immediately in solidarity with us. Anyone who expects hospitality, friendliness or a minimum of respect should avoid this campsite. The lady who runs this campsite seems to see her guests more as a nuisance than as people seeking relaxation and paying for their stay. We strongly advise against a visit. I am a trained restaurateur myself and have worked with a wide variety of personalities in my career. I know that dealing with people is not always easy. But this industry in particular requires a minimum level of sensitivity and respect towards guests. This sensitivity is lacking everywhere here. What was particularly disappointing for us was that we came here with absolutely peaceful intentions. We just wanted to visit our friends, have a nice vacation and start our stay in peace. Instead, we were treated in a way that contradicted any form of hospitality. I would expressly ask that you refrain from commenting on or apologizing for this review. After reading the previous reviews and the long justifications published, I am aware that the attitude of this campsite will not change anyway. This review is solely for the information of other travelers. If you want to experience hospitality as it is written in the book, just drive 5 minutes further. Mille Grazie!

As advertised, this site is convenient for Ypres town centre but they fail to mention that it is situated next to a noisy factory which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week - the sound of machinery is constant. The management are not very flexible dealing with complaints about this and when requested, they refused to refund us for the rest of our stay, even with over 48 hours notice. We rebooked with the alternative site they recommended, owned by the same company, but the email sent requesting a refund was ignored. Not customer friendly.

Not far from Die on beautiful location (terraced campsite). Reception very friendly: some late arrival on the bike was no problem and wet rain we could spontaneously move into a Mobil-Home. The mobile home itself was cramped and quite tight but on offer for 300 p/w. a good deal. There are also nice tent pitches with shade by the river, which we found a bit expensive.

A rejuvenating weekend in the countryside at a top-of-the-range campsite. The pitches, the site's ecological actions and the activities are top-notch. Great fun with family and friends!

We rented a chalet here through bungalow specials for Ascension. The park is verglane glory little to no maintenance. The chalet was very dirty and many broken things. The pool is cold and very dirty . We went home the next day. I would not recommend the park and bungalow specials should not offer it.

Very pretty, relaxing setting

Had a wonderful stay in almost brand new safari tent. This tent is very well equipped, spacious and neat. Nice veranda. Nice view. Fine outdoor pool. Indoor pool also neat. Friendly and helpful staff. Store 10 minutes by car.

Rooms? I am answering for caravan pitches. Large pitches, the grass was a bit careworn where awnings go, but that's ok. Good facilities. Attentive staff. Located near to town (delft) near to park, lake, walks.

We've just left the campsite after 3 nights in a teepee, which was really nice. The campsite is top-notch and very clean, whether it's the toilets, the pool, the outside area or the bar, where you can also get something to eat. This morning, we did the walking activity with José, which was really nice and he gave us a commentary throughout the walk. There's lots of entertainment all day long and every day. Jose and joaneta, the owners, are super nice, pleasant and available all day long. The staff are very helpful and kind. Our stay was great. See you soon .

Incredible stay! This was our first bivouac experience and we made nothing but great discoveries! The Canadian tent was top-notch, we lacked nothing and the beds were very comfortable! Of course, our stay wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable without meeting the incredibly kind and welcoming owners. Many activities were recommended to us on site, which filled our program! I'll be back without hesitation to rediscover this caring, peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere, thank you for everything! :)
