Super nice campground on the outskirts of Elsloo. Cycling and walking routes nearby and nice catering facilities. Good plumbing, showers, toilets sandwich service etc. Maastricht, Heerlen, Sittard all within cycling distance. Aachen and Liege a half hour drive.... Top place to explore Limburg the eifel and the Ardennes. It was only a 5 minute drive from our home.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣. But enjoyed the drinks on Friday with a great pizza from Bart. Again met nice people during the drinks. Top location. See some people who give a star these are really vinegar complainers what a whine about nothing..... Then go sleep in a hotel.

We had a lovely quiet spacious cottage with hot tub. Every day we went out on our motorcycle and then relaxed in our cottage afterwards.

September 6, 2024 with ACSI I went to this campsite with my husband and my dog, they asked me 27 euros rightly because I owned the ACSI card plus 5.80 per person for the tourist tax, so my fee would be €38.60. I inquired at the municipality of Palau and they told me that the tourist tax is €3 per person. The campground justified itself by saying that in addition to tourist tax there was €2.80 environmental fee because they have the plants and the pine forest. I don't think this behavior is correct. Meanwhile, they could have said right away that in the €5.80 per person was included both the tourist tax and the environmental contribution, and then if it is a contribution I should not have to pay it because I do not take the plants home. I have been around many campgrounds and this is the first time I feel ripped off. First of all there has to be transparency, so I preferred to go elsewhere where I had a great time. Some places no matter how beautiful they may be, it is better to lose them than to find them.

Magnificent campsite ⛺️ very pleasant and close to all the sites. An excellent week in a mobile home.

What a lovely discovery, this campsite in a pretty, quiet village in the Gers. The toilets are clean and the accommodation is all in one package. The space is functional, we're not all on top of each other. Pets are welcome. I highly recommend it.

Cozy nicely groomed outdoor pool

Great spacious nature pitches, really welcoming & dog friendly. Gorgeous bar, central lodge for guests, and lovely pool. Service at bar & reception was great. Showers fab too. Fantastic location for fishing, nature walks & relaxing!!

Brasserie nothing wrong with it, but the ice cream parlor no decency nor courtesy when addressed for serving ice cream with alcohol to an 8 year old!!! No warning nothing. Then you speak to them about it and get a big mouth that you should have looked at the picture?! And say there is iddly alcohol in it but should have dissipated. Manager not available 3 13 year olds and 1 who doesn't work there but sits by with a big mouth to adults. Luckily 1 of him still had a decent education to apologize. Then you speak to the management and have to have a discussion to save others and a conversation purely on ego instead of reasonableness and concern and my downright justified anger knowingly provide alcohol to a child!!! then also indicate that rudeness towards customers is tolerated when one only expresses his concern and complain!!! You call up she says I will have a look and then suddenly she has already tasted it while I indicate that it is about the tray outside in the ice cream parlor. And there is nothing wrong with it and no we have no alcohol in it while they admit that just outside. Wow. The times where customer is king and people are thoughtful and etiquette is far away. Decency is a scarce commodity. Please pay attention when ordering there. The brasserie is fine and also play nothing with it well arranged. The rest No just no. Edit 18: 03 and response to below. The current response just posted speaks of projecting and shear behavior and proves my point precisely. Heavy cognitive dissonance. First of all, there has been no shouting but a justified complaint. In which 3 young people with no decency are constantly interrupting you and being side-tracked? No wonder the next generation is a problem look at the parents or supervisors? When it rains, the whole place drips off - muddy pitches ... matches the sanitary facilities - price vile too high for a 2 star place

The 3 large swimming pools are gone. French fry shop and supermarket also gone and in their place 2 tiny pools that are far too small for the large number of visitors. Like herrings in a barrel. Furthermore, a fat fat arrogant woman with a Dutch accent behind the counter. As food you can choose from Pizza or Pizza. Few years back still a French fry shop and a restaurant on the park .The former "Elfenmeer" at this place was 100 times better and have 20 years at the campsite. We will never come back here again.
