Very friendly English spoken well. Lovely couple who are building this place up. Peaceful with bird song all day and evening with wandering Dutch rabbits ☺️ We booked personal toilet and shower for €6 extra per night which was worth it. 10 mins drive from Jumbo supermarket with lots of other shops you will need. 20 min drive from ferry to Texol if you desire that experience we did not enjoy Texol. Owner keeps strict eye on noise levels from other campers Bread delivery is available if you require. Free good WiFi Very safe

If, like me, you're looking for a clean, human-sized campsite set in the forest, in a quiet location (my stay was out of season), with high-quality, comfortable and very well-equipped mobile homes...great facilities (outdoor and indoor swimming pools, bars, restaurant)...a welcoming team, very polite and respectful young employees....The campsite is close to the sea and shops (everything can be done by bike)... So don't hesitate to book at Bois de la Gachère

I cannot reproduce what is written here. The prices are getting more and more expensive for this campsite. The campsite operators are getting friendlier and friendlier. The men and women are very nice, not very friendly anymore and preferably only Dutch and no Germans who are not so welcome here. German children also have difficulties getting in contact with Dutch children or playing with them. They just don't like the German children, my child told me the same thing, which is really sad. As we have been here many times before, an old operator is definitely more pleasant and nicer. Now that the children have taken over, it's no longer nice. It is also strange that there are only positive messages here and no negative ones. We won't be coming back...

We camped here for a week and a half and we really enjoyed it. Jan and Ella are great hosts and know how to entertain the children very well. It is fantastic here for children, the activities with the animals are very nice and inside and outside are many play opportunities. The tents themselves are spacious, fully equipped and fine. The beds are also comfortable. The sanitary building may be a bit dated, but everything works and the showers are spacious, wonderfully hot and without a timer! The location is also nice, near a village where there is plenty to do and shopping can be done. By bike you can get to the sea in no time. In short, highly recommended if you want to go on vacation with young children!

a hiker's hut is a hiker's hut you might say, but this one has a few important extras that make the stay very attractive. One window has a screen, there are a number of electrical outlets and there is enough light to be able to read something at the table as well. The place offers a lot of privacy. I'll be back :)

The camping is nice, but don't understand why it's a 5-stars-camping. Just one sanitary building for the whole camping. Coins needed for the showers. The "shop" is at the reception and about 2x3 meters large. The swimming pools and tubes are much bigger and much nicer on ALL camping next to this one. So... camping is okay, but not over average. We visited so many 5-star-places. This one doesn't deserve 5 stars.

Many thanks to the whole team for an unforgettable stay. We'll be back with great pleasure to enjoy this wonderful place and all the activities it has to offer!

Hello dear reader... We can already highly recommend the direct and friendly service of this resort. Unfortunately, we were unable to book due to a change of route, which we think is a great pity.
