The atmosphere and peace that prevailed

For us, this was a disappointment. When booking we had to pay €10 extra to choose a spot. In my mind it is autumn vacations and therefore busier so paid. But the campsite was empty.... At the reception they told me that I had better choose another spot because otherwise we were completely isolated. Whether I could pay my €10,-- because I felt misled, the answer was that I don't go about that.... Then I had to pay €2,-- per device for the WiFi. Considering we were on an almost empty campsite I assumed good WiFi.... nothing was less true. Of the 48 hours I paid for, the WiFi only worked for 2 hours. At the reception they found it very annoying. Money back? They weren't about that. Then you think you can go swimming... my daughter and I didn't know how fast we had to get out because it was really cold. Then they said, oh what strange because it is certainly 25 degrees. As if 25 degrees is very nice. Shower by the pool... which one? The one cold one with push button where it doesn't work? We then had to go through the cold to a hot shower facility. Tell on the site that during the school vacations there is plenty to do and get. But there is nothing. Also the restaurant, closed. At the reception the reaction was that they find that annoying.... Showers... will be normal on a campsite but a shower that determines how long I shower? In short pay a lot and get little to nothing. Compensation or just get money back for service charges that does not work is not there. Very separate was that a handyman who came to connect the electricity, because it was also out of order, wanted to tell us that we also had to understand the situation from their side ... Otherwise nice man. In short, at least for the autumn vacations, my advice is to stay far away from this campsite.

Spent 3 nights with friends. Very nice, cozy, modern furnished cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped. The whirlpool is great, the temperature can be set and adjusts quickly. Only the sauna could be at least 10° hotter.

Worst place for camper ever

Upon making a reservation for 2x Leo bungalows, we had a specific request. The staff took the time to actually call me regarding the request to ensure they meet it. What great service! We stayed here 5 nights and had 2 bungalows side by side. Due to flight delays and private airport transfer issues, we checked in really late and reception staff was friendly and understanding. Comfortable stay and the beds were too but the walls are thin so if people walked by talking or dragging luggage, you could hear them.||The bungalow itself is smaller than I thought but it was good we had 2 seperate bathrooms. The accommodation lack ventilation which caused a lot of condensation. In October keeping the windows open made the place quite cold. Heating/AC system is in the living room area only.||The terrace is quite large but the fabric on the roof isn't waterproof so we couldn't sit outside unless it was dry. Leaving hand washed clothes out dry had to be brought in if it was raining. They have a laundrette but we didn't use it (extra payment required). No housekeeping throughout stay but we used the supplied dustpan and brush to clean any mess. Well equipped kitchen.||We didn't use the pool or restaurant but the gym is clean with a few basic equipments. (Only 1 cross trainer though)||It's near the sea/beach which is nice but there isn't much else nearby. We had to call a taxi daily to the train station which was about 10mins drive away.||Bottom line is, due to great customer service, I would return to stay here.

We stayed in one of the log cabins and absolutely loved it, it was so cosy and very well insulated even though it was pretty cold outside. We really felt well-rested after our stay it was the perfect romantic break. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location.

I really loved it!!! Clean, smoke-free and just a few minutes from cozy cafes like Brasserie Parc de Kievit, Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends, Free parking makes it easy to explore nearby places, I would definitely come back!

Air conditioning was a lifesaver during our stay, Enjoyed the direct access to the beach!

Our stay at the lodge was truly enjoyable! The wheelchair accessible features made everything so much easier for us, The height-adjustable countertop was a great addition, and having a shower chair in the bathroom was incredibly thoughtful, The lodge itself was bright and spacious, with everything we needed, Plus, it was just a short walk from the beautiful North Sea beach, which was a bonus, We also appreciated the friendly staff at the front desk, who were always ready to help, Highly recommended for anyone needing accessibility!

We chose this place because we came with a caravan during our Italy holiday. It was a very quiet, safe place that was not crowded. It had two pools, clean and very fun for children. Sunbed rental is charged . The showers were many and clean. There is a paid laundry area. It is very nice to have a market inside. There is a playground for children. There is a mini disco for children in the evenings but it is not enough, it could be more fun. There is a tennis court. In the evenings, there are entertainments with music and dance at the bar, there is an activity where you can hang out with your children or alone, but it is not done every day. You can ask and learn. If you want, you can stay in the rooms instead of the caravan. ->>> Since I got tired of having breakfast in the caravan in the country I came to before, we paid for this place for 5 people including breakfast, but we regretted it very much. The breakfast was not open buffet anyway. We would have liked to eat at least something that would suit our taste, but they gave us a fried egg on a plate that did not smell nice, a croissant and a packet of jam and spreadable chocolate. There was nothing else. If you wanted toast, donuts, cakes or fruit, you had to pay. These foods are charged, it's ridiculous. Eating toast for breakfast should be free because this smelly egg is awful. Instead, we should have been told that we have the right to choose toast. I paid for the first day of 5 days and we only went to this breakfast on the first day. I hope there is an urgent arrangement for breakfast. The products at breakfast are very limited, we were very upset. If food is important, pay attention to this detail.

Nice place but in November +60€ for 1 night with motorhome is loose about it. Even in high season this is a lot. Too bad we were already inside a´ders we had sought other accommodation

The area where the park is located. We are huge fans of Overijssel! You can go in various directions from the park to enjoy yourself. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet.
