The front desk could use a course in communication and customer satisfaction. Any interaction with the front desk was agonizingly slow and everything went wrong. Our breakfast boxes (worth 80€!) had not been communicated to the restaurant owner, so were not ready at the specified time. For this price, you really expect a lot more.

What a blissful campsite

Pleasant campsite in the heart of nature

The complex is exceptionally well-maintained with a wide range of facilities from a quiet pool and children's areas to a small but modern gym, mini golf and table tennis. Direct lake view and lake access. A car is recommended, shopping facilities, wineries and sights, hiking and cycling opportunities are plentiful nearby. Ideal for families, in the low season we enjoyed a lot of peace and quiet as a couple.

I give it all points because I felt comfortable on the campsite. This was because we chose a nice pitch, slightly elevated and with no one in front of it, so with a wide view, and the pitch was also quite large. An ageing site, just like it used to be, without a pool and all the fancy stuff (😉). I like this better than the hustle and bustle of the new, oversized campsites that are everywhere in Istria. And there is everything you need, the sanitary facilities are very clean, the cleaning lady is very present. And above all, the price is reasonably fair. The town of Vrsar is very charming and tranquil, and you can explore a lot by bike on the cycle paths. I would love to come back.

Minimum stay of two days. All right, if the rules are OK. We didn't know this in advance and only wanted to stay one night. We spoke to the lady at reception and she promised us when we wanted to leave that we could stay and pay for just one night. The next day we still had to pay for two nights. A rip-off. 60.80€ for one night with a VW bus van. Not like that, we won't be back.

It was our first time at this campsite, friends of ours recommended it to us, it was a great recommendation, everything was great. We can not understand the bad reviews, we were there at the same time, the events in the marquee (this time with live music and traditional costumes) that was great, from 22.15 clock everything was made quieter, his little farm store (Mondays and Fridays 17.30 to 18.30 clock) you have to join, super cheese and fruit schnapps you can try for free and of course you can buy. Now to the topic of space etc. Sanitary facilities (there are 2 houses) are state of the art (Toni was so nice and showed us the new, not yet opened sanitary house which is not only 5 stars but 7 stars, which will be opened soon) Pitches are almost all equipped with water electricity sewage and gas. That's as good as it gets. Toni is a great doer who is there for his customers from morning to night and solves every problem. Spot by the water reserved. Upon arrival there was an envelope with information in the mailbox. Site 15 is a huge site, water and electricity (16 amp) right at the site. Plumbing is just perfect, hot water and also showers included. Washing dishes under the shelter. Canteen was mostly closed, but at the adjacent hotel we could enjoy a few boffers. The pizza, Asian, French restaurant right in front of the campground is highly recommended. At the campground you can rent canoes and sups, totally super. We had great fishing, lots of small stuff sometimes a little bigger. The wifi is a bit more difficult, but that seems to be the case everywhere. We enjoyed ourselves. Monday the first fields were already getting ready for next year.

Great place outside San Marino town. Bus to the old town leaves directly from the square. Clean San Marino site, great restaurant and small store with the essentials.

Not a bad stay, but nothing more. We used the campsite as a pied-à-terre and nothing more. No entertainment, no atmosphere. Our pitch was close to a waste disposal site, which meant that we had to deal with a lot of noise every evening between 11.30 pm and 12.30 am (tiling and other dumping noises). Unfortunately, our stay ended very badly when, between wives, we joined our spouses at the parking lot and were treated to a very nasty remark (allusion) from one of the campsite's landscapers who was cutting the hedge. We went back to see him with our spouses, and he more or less admitted it, then slipped away when he saw us heading towards reception to complain. It's very unpleasant to feel treated like a piece of meat by the people who are supposed to make our stay a pleasant one.

We arrived on the 14th of September 2025 for 2 nights. On arrival we was checked in by emmanuelle and Paul who was extremely attentive. Nothing was to much trouble. We had a hard standing pitch with room for our table and chairs and awning out. Campsite clean and tidy, showers and toilets stipulated gender how ever saying this I did experience a woman coming in to shower in the men's block and my partner also experienced a man going to shower in the womans block. Small outside pool area but clean. Restaurant and bar on site wasn't open so can't comment on that. Great location to Colmar centre, you can hire bikes of the campsite or get a bus or taxi or like we did take a 30-35 minute walk to the centre. Campsite can be a little noisy due to the road noise from the duel carriageway just the other side of the river. Very pleasantly surprised by this campsite as we read several very poor reviews about the campsite and the staff. However we had a lovely experience with very friendly and helpful and polite staff especially emmanuelle and Paul, would definitely stay again on the experience we had. Nigel and zo from the uk
