Too bad but also our almost three week stay at Camping de Regenboog in Czech Šluknov located in Bohemian Switzerland comes to an end. Close to German border and Poland also nearby we had a very nice vacation here and will definitely come back.

A campsite on a human scale, with a top-notch team. If you're looking for a factory campsite, don't bother.

Last weekend we spent the night in a Dome at TinyParks. We were really looking forward to staying in nature, but unfortunately the experience was a bit disappointing, especially considering the value for money. The Domes are relatively close together, leaving little privacy and limiting the view to the campsite rather than nature - which was precisely our main reason for booking a Dome. The inside of the Dome was tastefully decorated, but only translucent curtains were present, further limiting privacy. Also, there was no lighting or even a small lamp present. When we inquired about this at the front desk, we were told that unfortunately no more lamps were available. During dinner and breakfast it was very crowded. There was insufficient seating space inside, which was inconvenient since it was raining. When booking dinner we were told that it would be a barbecue, but this ended up being a buffet of pizza and pasta - something which was unfortunate as we had based our choice on this. Fortunately, there were also positives. The beds were comfortable and the wellness facilities were nice. However, it is good to know that there is an extra charge for using the sauna and hot tub. By the way, the pick-up service from the ferry was well arranged and it is possible to also just give your belongings. All in all, there were certainly pleasant moments, but unfortunately the experience did not quite meet our expectations, especially considering the price.

We spent 3 nights at the campground with a tent. The sites are fairly spacious and there are many trees, so everything looks nice and green. The plumbing was old, broken and dirty. A decent toilet block is the minimum you should have as a campsite. Furthermore, it is still noisy late at night. The café at the beginning is nice and the bread service is good.

Doesn't deserve 4 stars, but rather 2—the location and the green spaces are not well-maintained. As for hot water in the restrooms, there isn't any; showers and dishwashing are done with cold water. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant, but the management staff was very unpleasant and wouldn’t answer questions. On the positive side, it’s a very beautiful location for nice walks—that’s all.

It’s rare to come across such a spacious campsite. The cottages and trapper tents offer good to excellent privacy, the pitches are good in size, and the communal areas are impressively large and open. The facilities are varied and well-maintained, including a fire pit, beach volleyball court, football field, playgrounds, and more. Children of all ages roam freely around the site—from morning to night—on bikes, scooters, or on foot. If you're seeking a quiet, adults-only atmosphere, this may not be the ideal setting. Some children's entertainment is available, though it could be further developed. The campsite is also very dog-friendly. While dogs must be leashed on the campground (they’re allowed in the restaurant), they can run freely in the forested surroundings accessible directly from the site. There are only two EV chargers (7.5–10kWh) at a rate of €0.40/kWh, but visitors tend to share access considerately. Overall, parking is manageable, and there’s a bike rental service which is especially useful if your pitch is located farther from the main building. The bread service in the morning is efficient, and you can grab a coffee to go while you wait in a short line. In the evenings the restaurant serves only pizzas, but they’re well-prepared and tasty. During the afternoon, you’ll find crêpes and snack platters available, and the terrace at the main building tends to come alive with guests socializing in the late afternoon and evening. The pool is covered—perfect for variable Dutch weather—but it can be opened when it’s warm. While major sightseeing spots require a 30-minute drive, the campsite sits at the edge of a beautiful nature reserve full of scenic cycling and walking trails. Finally, there are two offsite venues within walking distance: De Boshut and Venweg—both of which are decent options for a quick outing. There is one flaw: visitors get the option to “clean themselves”. This is a practice that should be banned as it creates uncertainty about the quality of cleaning.

The campsite can remain as it is/left in its natural state, but it should be mentioned that it is not suitable for people with disabilities or in wheelchairs. Certainly bugs such as ants are normal, but not an invasion or army of ants. There are a few restaurants, but not all good. The one on site was not bad. Sanitary very clean, just cleaning several times a day. We/I got the best out of the situation. Pitch was too expensive, but we were there halfway through the season. Location too far from the sea, pitch was huge.

We stayed here for two nights with the motorhome. Price/performance underground!!! The only good thing is the location and the pool. The sanitary facilities are an imposition. The showers are just about okay, but the toilets are just disgusting! On top of that, all 4 (young) people at reception were very unfriendly, you didn't feel welcome!
