Perfect location for a holiday. Outdoor water and indoor pool. A lot of playgrounds. And during vacation seasons a lot of entertainment.

The campground is in a dilapidated state. Starting with the plumbing building, where there are mold and urine stains on the wall, hair in the pits by the showers and cleaners wiping down the entire building with the same rag and cold water (without suds). When you finally paid 75 cents to take a shower (a hot piss jet for less than 6 minutes) or wash your dishes you do so while screaming children and drunk parents use the sanitary building as a meeting place, where it is a sport to throw the doors as loud as possible. When you finally get to your tent, there is a lot of speeding around the site by cars that drive to the sanitary building and drop it everywhere. If you are lucky and there is no car passing by you can hear screaming drunk people, with occasional fights and loud music until the middle of the night. The indoor pool is cold and if you think you are jumping in water you are wrong, in fact you just jump into a pool with pure chlorine. On the website this campground looks like a lot. The playgrounds advertised are all dilapidated and rotten or non-existent. If you want to play in the indoor playground you may pay 4 p.p. Bowling p.p 10 euros per hour. With 4 people you can rent 2 lanes elsewhere for that money. If after this misery you think I'm going to have something to eat at the restaurant advertised you are also out of luck, because this restaurant has been bankrupt for years and only a dilapidated building.

We read some negative reviews, but we really don't agree. This is not a big 5-star campground, which is exactly why we liked it so much. Do you want a real camping feeling, super spacious sites (never seen like this before in Italy) and do you like charm campsites but with great facilities such as a good restaurant and a nice pool? Then this is the place to be. Our kids enjoyed themselves at the pool and on the soccer field, we enjoyed the tranquility and the book in front of the tent. Run by very friendly Dutch-Italian owners and surrounded by the beautiful hills and villages of Umbria. Truly a place to go back to.

Stayed at the campsite with tent fam + children of 7 and 9. Lively & fun camping, fire making on Mon/Wo/Sat is really great. Camping has many shade options, and most spots are quite spacious. Kids had a great time and the area is also very nice. Facilities are well kept clean even though you notice the amount is tight. Often waiting for toilet or shower. We initially had a top spot overlooking the forest only here was an overflow of the sewer system. There were problems with this (pump) broken because of this the emergency overflow came into operation. This made it sometimes less pleasant in terms of smells, especially with warmer weather and wind from the south. This was very unfortunate. Even though the staff worked hard to find a solution, you were unfortunately left with the smell of a festival dixi when the wind was wrong.

Nice restaurant on the pitch. Sometimes noisy from the road due to evening motorcycle racers and car posers.

Pros: The site and sanitary facilities are well maintained and clean, pitches are spacious with a good view of the Sauerland. Absolutely quiet at night. Cons: the overnight price is too high in my opinion, as there is no infrastructure (kiosk, bread service or similar) on site, but restaurants are within walking distance

A disappointing experience. When we booked at the beginning of the year, we were convinced by the 4.7 rating, the photos and the description. After 3 weeks on site, although geographically the campsite's location is ideal, there are still many shady areas. The general upkeep lacks rigor, with fallen trees not removed, shrubs not pruned, not a single flower (see photos of the pool on the site...). The sanitary facilities were rinsed 2 or 3 times a day but not cleaned (the urinals were done once during our stay), 2 out of 6 women's toilets were functional, although every other toilet block was open. The dishwashing area with 4 uncleaned mats completed the picture. As far as the team and site management are concerned, we got the impression that everyone was working without consulting each other, there was no unity and a serious lack of direction. For example, children who had signed up for an activity were finally sent back to their tents with the reply "I'm sorry, they did sign up, but I've got a lot of newcomers and I've run out of space"; perhaps we should have counted and limited the number of participants, rather than letting the forms fill up without limit, and arbitrarily releasing children who until then had been delighted to meet up with their friends. Don't look for a common area, a terrace or a room where you can play or have a drink - there isn't one. Fortunately, Will and his Food Truck were there to create a bond, cook us his best dishes and always have a smile on his face. A campsite to be taken back in hand very quickly.

Lovely spacious cottages. Modern and clean.

We spent a week there—never again!
No atmosphere, just one activity leader who never even came to say hello.
There was a smell of gas on the campground; the pool isn’t supervised, and people swim fully clothed without any regard for those around them. There were vipers on the campground; a member of my family was bitten, which resulted in a two-day hospital stay. After that, no one came to check on us; there were no warnings for campers or anyone else—just the tourist tax for the hospital stay, which was €2.10.
No consideration whatsoever for these vacationers—they just tell us, “It’s nature,” even though we could have lost a family member
at their campground, and they couldn’t care less!!!
They only care about money, not the well-being of these vacationers!!!
This is outrageous!!!!

We’ll never go back there again 😡😡

The campground is in a beautiful location and convenient for visiting Besançon, which can be easily reached via a lovely bike path or by tram (the Chaluzelle-Besançon line). There is also a supermarket (Carrefour) 700 meters away, within walking distance. Shaded and fairly well-maintained sites. However, it’s a major downside to have a playground right next to several RV sites, especially when—as happened to us over three days—German children, with no parental supervision, were playing ball and shouting. Check the site’s location first!!
