Fine park, neat bungalows. Also very nice that the dog is allowed. Conveniently located to Valkenburg and Maastricht. Beautiful surroundings

A beautiful setting where you can enjoy the whole family!

Stayed with our own van. At first, everything seemed perfect, and we were warmly welcomed, and we ended up thinking of staying 2 nights. But the camp site is full of oak trees, night was stormy, we were bombed by acorns and falling branches, which scratched our van. There's a bakery service, and we didn't get what we ordered, even though we had a picture of our order. Somebody just changed our order afterwards by crossing our wish and changing it. Facilities were clean, and water in the shower was nice and hot. You can hang in the lounge room until 21, which was nice in rainy weather. Restaurant open only on weekends, bar until 19:00 on weekdays. Left the site after one night with scratches in our van with mixed feelings, as in the beginning, we were excited about the spot.

Lovely campsite with no mobile homes and year-round pitches. There are some cottages , Safari tents and mobile homes for rent . These are a bit separate. Large places for everyone. Nice lady at the reception. We consulted (and got an explanation) about the amp so we chose 10 . Nice pool especially for children. Clean plumbing and fair price for washer and dryer . Lots of green power. Yes you need a band to why .... There will be a reason for that . . I also do not know why off season that is really necessary . Can imagine some with the high season . Unfortunately there was no good WiFi . Perhaps an investment for future years ? The piece where we stood was almost no lighting . Quite dangerous !!!

Mieszkaliśmy w domku z pokojami na wynajem i częścią kuchenną. Cena bardzo przystępna. Czystość delikatnie mówiąc, średnia... Łóżko wymagające wymiany. Na plus lodówka w pokoju. Sam camping bardzo fajny, wieczorne animacje dla dzieci, restauracje ze smacznym jedzeniem i dobrą kawą. Do dyspozycji gości są również baseny.

After a very friendly reception in the reception we got a nice big place for our caravan + car. The toilet block was nice and warm and the indoor heated pool is a must. In short: a beautiful campsite where we would like to come back again.

What a paradise this campground is, in the beautiful, green and quiet Vallée de la Rotja, with unparalleled views of the Canigù, the sacred mountain of the Catalans and at 2,784 meters the highest in this part of the French Pyrenees. At the campsite we stayed from September 6 to 16, 2024, with our Holtkamper Flyer, on spot 7. This spot is along the edge of the campsite, bordered by large pines, poplars and white birches, shady and above all.... with a wonderful view of mountains, forest, a large, green, empty meadow and the occasional gliding Red Kite. You can hear field crickets, birds, subtle splashing of water -from the many water channels in this area-, the tapping of the neighboring chickens, wind rustling through the trees, the occasional car... and -yes, ok, ok...- even the 2-tone bell tower nearby can be heard, but after 2 days you get used to it. The climate in the valley is wonderfully mild and dry, almost no precipitation and sometimes a valley breeze in the afternoon; make sure you secure or store everything well! The pool(s) is lovely, the plumbing neat and clean. Showers are fine, but you do experience loss of water pressure when using them at the same time, so the jet is less hard. The campground manager is extremely helpful and happy to talk. Also nice that the campsite has bread service, even in low season. Great! And you can have dinner at the campsite, but you have to let us know in advance (we didn't use it). The surroundings are great, and a paradise for outdoor nature lovers. What we have seen are the Vallée de la Têt to the east (N116), as far as Puigcerdá in Spain; Fort Mont Louis; Château-Fort Libéria (climbed up the underground stairs, quite tough!); Villefranche-de-Conflent (beautiful 17th-century fortified village); Prades (for groceries and such. Super U, Lidl, McDonalds, Gifi etc.); walking in the Gorges de la Carança (spectacular gorge with wobbly bridges, steep high paths, if you like tough 'climbing' and are not afraid of heights); short climb to the chapel and cave of Notre-Dame de Vie with spectacular views; the deeply hidden valley village Montet (deafening silence there, and also a walking Walhalla); Vernet-les-Bains (touristy, base for 1 or 2-day walks to o.a. the Canigù); the beach at Canet-en-Rousillon (looks very 'mass-touristy'). We also visited Carcassonne, which can be reached in 2 hours by car from the campsite. This gem-of-a-camping site is worth a 5 star review as far as I'm concerned!
