Huttopia Barcelona PirineosWe wanted to make a stop in front of the Mediterranean after a strenuous winding drive. The space allocated to us was occupied and we were told to choose another one. The free pitches were extremely sloping and the supports couldn't compensate. The whole thing for €43 per night (with electricity) is what I call extortionate. On the beach we then paid 31

Wir wollten nach anstrengender Serpentinenfahrt einen Stop vor dem Mittelmeer einlegen. Der uns zugewiesene Platz war belegt und wir sollten dann einen anderen aussuchen. Die freien Plätze waren extrem schräg, die Stützen konnten es nicht ausgleichen. Das ganze für 43,- € die Übernachtung ( mit Strom) nenne ich Wucher. Am Meer haben wir dann 31,- bezahlt

(samenwerking is gestopt met Villatent) RCN de SchotsmanThe good thing about the site is its location on the Veerse Meer and that there is a boat hire shop on site. The roads on the campsite are littered with potholes and buckets. A long camper van can sometimes touch down here with the drawbar. It is a mystery why there are no small speed bumps. The comfort pitches are relatively small (because in the end the passage to the other pitches is counted and you only have a width of 8 meters). You are also not allowed to park your car there, some people want it that way, but for us it is bad. The showers are simply dirty and disgusting by Dutch standards. Old rot in the joints, moldy silicone, decaying ceiling panels, the water not even lukewarm and a low water jet. To top it all off, the smell of urine in the showers. The chemical toilet emptying system is also dirty, the waste disposal area looks and smells as if it hasn't been cleaned for years. No one seems to have maintained this place properly for years. We wouldn't visit this place again even if we were given it. Before people say: "They should have let us know", I can only say that a campsite operator must have this under control and cannot pass quality control on to the customers. The second star is for the restaurant, which was ok. We moved to another (owner-run) campsite and had a nice shower first...

Gut an dem Platz ist die Lage am Veerse Meer, sowie dass ein Boots Verleih am Platz ist. Die Straßen auf dem Platz sind mit Drempeln und Kübeln übersät. Ein langer WoWa kann hier schon mal mit der Deichsel aufsetzen. Warum man keine kleinen Schwellen als Geschwindigkeitsberuhigung macht ist rätselhaft. Die Komfortplatze sind verhältnismäßig klein (weil letztendlich die Durchfahrt zu den anderen Plätzen mitgezählt wird und man nur 8 Meter Breite hat). Auch darf man sein Auto da nicht mit hin stellen, manche wollen das so, für uns ist es schlecht. Die Duschen sind für niederländische Verhältnisse einfach nur dreckig und ekelhaft. Alter Gammel in den Fugen, schimmeliges Silikon, zerfallende Deckenpanele, das Wasser noch nicht mal lau warm und geringer Wasserstrahl. Zu allem Überfluss noch Uringeruch in den Duschen. Die Chemie WC Entleerung auch schmutzig, der Müllentsorgungsplatz sieht aus und riecht als wäre er Jahre nicht gereinigt worden. Diesen Platz scheint schon Jahre keiner mehr richtig gepflegt zu haben. Selbst geschenkt würden wir diesen Platz nicht wieder aufsuchen. Bevor es heißt:" hätten sie uns doch Bescheid gegeben" kann ich nur sagen, dass ein Platzbetreiber das selber im Griff haben muss und die Qualitätskontrolle nicht auf die Kunden abwälzen kann. Den zweiten Stern gibt's fürs Restaurant, das war ok. Wir sind umgezogen auf einen anderen (inhabergeführten) Campingplatz und sind erst mal schön duschen gegangen...

Together with friends who were there with their camper, we enjoyed the tranquility and friendliness of this campsite.

In het weekend van 13 t/m 15 september hebben we met onze caravan op Camping Huttopia De Veluwe gestaan. Daar zijn ruime plaatsen en wij hadden ook prachtige plek. Samen met vrienden die er met hun camper stonden, hebben we genoten van de rust en gezelligheid op deze camping.

Camping Podere Sei PoorteBeautifully located campsite with (by Italian standards) huge pitches. Sanitary facilities are in perfect order. There is a bar/restaurant, nice swimming pool and you can also order bread. Definitely a place we would love to come back to. Oh yes, do follow the route description of the campsite as indicated on the website ;-) otherwise you might end up in some awkward situations.

Prachtig gelegen camping met (voor Italiaanse begrippen) enorm grote plaatsen. Sanitaire voorzieningen zijn perfect in orde. Er is een bar/restaurant, mooi zwembad en je kunt tevens brood bestellen. Zeker een plek waar we graag terug gaan komen. Owja, volg wel de routebeschrijving van de camping zoals aangegeven op de website ;-) anders kom je mogelijk in wat lastige situaties terecht.
