Very well-kept and beautiful campsite. One of the best I've visited so far. Super friendly staff at reception. Short-term rebooking of the pitch on site was no problem. However, if you need a fresh water connection directly at the pitch, you're out of luck here. But it is available within sight. All in all, a "great place". Excellent starting point for cycling.

Make sure that you give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the gardens as well as enjoying tasty food in the cafe! The garden areas are many and varied; it feels like a REAL garden, with friendly staff working in it but always happy to stop to chat about the gardens, the plants, their plans. It's mostly on the flat but there are some stepped areas - Hidcote is seeking to find ways to remedy this without losing the original nature of the garden. Don't visit in anything other than comfy shoes - you won't realise how much you will walk, totally entranced as each new area opens up!

Lovely campsite, feels like a festival Rooms I do not know, bring your own caravan

We have just stayed with our camper van for 3 nights. The site is one of the best - great facilities, very clean, easy and generous bike hire, superb pain au raisin and super friendly staff. Thanks Melissa and Laura, nothing was any trouble for you and all done with a smile at the end of the season!

Recently visited with our UK motorhome in September. Very similar to French Huttopia sites so various pitches either under shady trees or open sites. Facilities clean and modern. Able to preorder breakfast items but the croissants were a bit ‘unusual’-definitely not like French ones! Cycling excellent and close to German border so cycled into Germany a couple of times. Site does get very busy with German families at the weekends but quieter during the week. Only downside was a couple of large noisy ‘caravanners’ who left rubbish round their vans with no respect for the nature feel of the site.

I've been coming to this campground with my camper for 8 years using the plus pitch and I find it excellent on the cleanliness side (bathrooms and showers always clean), manicured green areas, proximity to the beach, areas dedicated to our 4-legged friends (from the bathing to the walking area). Suitable for families with children because of its safety and tranquility. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful hiking trails, easy to walk. Unfortunately, the signposting is poor and dogs are not allowed. We chose the brown route and walked for 2h15m. We also took in the viewpoints and watched the birds. It was supposed to be 5.8km, but according to Google we walked 16km, which can't really be true considering the time.

Am very disappointed with the 4 star facility in restaurant almost no German knowledge business mostly no one at the checkout waiting time on the whole the staff was very unfriendly.

Quite simple a filthy dirty travellers site where the toilets are far worse than any public toilet and smells of urine. There is a reason there are no photos of the fall down toilet block. Truly disgusting and an enbassment to Belgium

Super team, very friendly and available! Clean and comfortable accommodation. Location close to everything and a change of scenery near the forests, it's all there. Peace and quiet, nature and shops for last-minute needs.

We spent a weekend at this new in the future wonderful campground. The pitches are huge and we had a fantastic view over the fields. The brand new private plumbing is top notch. We enjoyed ourselves. The reception was also very welcoming. This will be a gem in the years to come. We will definitely come back. Also to see how it is going to be. The plans are very promising.
