The reception was welcoming, at check-in we even received a gift for our doggies in which some chew sticks and toys.The chalet was clean and well maintained. Bedrooms a little on the cramped side, mattresses good. Kitchen well equipped and clean. Bathroom was also spacious enough and clean. In the living room a lovely sofa and some chairs for lounging heerkijk and a dining table with chairs. Terrace furniture sufficient Halfway through the week the wifi was down, this was quickly picked up and remedied after we informed the reception of this All in all a high enough.

I am still shocked by the behavior of the employee at the reception of the canoe rental. When we arrived 15 minutes later than agreed due to unforeseen circumstances, we were not only greeted in an unfriendly manner, but were actually shouted at. I have never experienced anything like this before and it is absolutely unacceptable to me. It was particularly annoying that the employee claimed that we had already been informed that we had to be there by 11 a.m. at the latest - which was simply not true. I had only spoken to a woman on the phone in advance and we were never given this information. Instead, we were practically told that we were lying. If punctuality is so important, this should have been clearly communicated in advance. A simple hint would have sufficed. Fortunately, we subsequently had a much more pleasant experience at another canoe rental company in Dillingen - we received a friendly welcome there and everything went smoothly.

We had booked a pitch right on the water for 4 days at the end of August with our WW. One star for the view and the second star for the peace and quiet. But unfortunately that's where it ends. The site is not really clean. There was garbage in the corner and I almost kneeled in dog excrement when putting up the awning. And the lawn was no longer mowed, let alone the hedge being trimmed. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities: On the second day when I went to the toilet in the morning, the cleaning crew was there. All well and good, but when I went back about an hour later and it still looked as if nothing had been done for two weeks, something was wrong. There were still shoe prints on the doors and walls and really not hygienic. we were also there with our dog and had the pitch directly on the dog beach. There was nothing going on on the beach so we thought, come on, let's let our dog run after the tennis ball for 5 minutes and we were approached directly by an older woman that we are not allowed to do that. Well, we know that too, but if there's not a soul on the small beach I think that's a bit excessive. What a pity. You could do more with the resort as the location is really perfect

Perfect stay, pleasant welcome. The only downside was that the pool areas were not supervised at all, which made teenage jumping and diving a real pain. The lagoon is top-notch! And the spa area (sauna and jacuzzi). On the other hand, the bar-supermarket-restaurant doesn't live up to the campsite's standards, with a cheap decor that looks like it's from the 90s, and a deplorable welcome from the head waitress in the evening. As a result, we always dined or lunched outside, where the food on offer is of good quality, without going very far.

We were disappointed for a 4 star campsite access to the campsite not practical at all we can not pass 2 cars side entertainment except for children nothing special no welcome drink and no entertainment on weekends showers in the mobile home not terrible we go from hot to cold and side washing machine both broken down in short we still enjoyed the pools and restaurant apart from that very disappointed by the rest.it's a shame

What a fantastic campground! Great location, plenty of shade, and spacious sites, you walk right from your tent to the beach/lake or the small clean pool. I didn't even see a mosquito at the end of August. There is a pleasant atmosphere (quiet but not boring) thanks to the wonderfully helpful and friendly host Sergio who keeps an eye on everything and even makes a tour around the campsite where you can talk to him. Everything has been thought of, from draining racks at the dishwashing area, soap at the sinks, choice of fresh bread rolls in the morning in the camp shop to a well-kept terrace where you can also eat well at reasonable prices. The shower is always nice and hot and I never had to wait in high season. The always friendly staff exudes that you are more than welcome. I really shouldn't write this, then it gets too crowded in such a beautiful place ;). There are a few things to keep in mind. Arriving during lunch break between 12 and 14 means waiting. This is also when the pool and mini market are closed. This also applies to the nearest large supermarket on several days. Cash is still common for many things we are no longer used to in the Netherlands. If you have a Sup this is the perfect place to use it! It is never far to the beach. (Renting is not possible)

Liked: The facilities were spectacular. We only stayed for a night since we went to the Vilar de Mouros festival so we couldn't enjoy everything. The toilets were super cleaned and we had a change to test the kitchen and had coffee with the owners.

I liked: A small and quiet campsite just 10 minutes drive from Vila Nova de Cerveira.

What you would do again forever. Organized clean and everything wonderful. Boat trips can be arranged nearby with lunch on board. You would never want to return to everyday life, you don't need to go to the Maldives to see then such a sea

We booked the campsite at the last minute. The campsite is large, the pool is great too, and the tent pitch is decent. Perhaps it would be a good idea for the entertainers to wear a campsite T-shirt for greater visibility. Opposite the campsite is the Water Glisse water park, which the kids really enjoyed.
