A nice campground on the banks of the Dordogne. A small beach accessible from the campground. An indoor and outdoor pool. Very friendly staff.

Nice campground. Most of the sites are in the shade. The restrooms are a bit older, but clean. So everything’s fine.
You can easily walk to the town of Novigrad. The ladies at the front desk are very friendly.

I wanted to rent a sailboat on the spur of the moment. The woman at the counter told me that all the boats were rented out and that it wasn’t possible to rent one without a reservation. Strangely enough, I didn’t see a single sailboat leave all afternoon; there were at least four boats sitting unused at the dock.

That gave the impression that little effort was made to be accommodating or find a solution. I therefore found the service downright disappointing.

A very nice campground by the lake.
A very pleasant pool, with games available (petanque, ping-pong, badminton, ball games, etc.).
Clean and functional restrooms.

The restaurant’s service left a lot to be desired. Apparently, Wednesday is pizza night, and on that night, they serve ONLY pizza. You can get something at the snack bar—which seems to be part of the whole place—but you’re not allowed to eat it anywhere on the patio, since that’s part of the “restaurant.”
If there really had been a lot of people there, I’d understand, but it was too sunny and hot for that.

Excellent campground; the staff are courteous, kind, and very hospitable. It’s very beautiful and well-maintained. All the amenities are available, and the pet area is nice.
It took us 1 hour to get from our campsite to the entrance of Mont Saint-Michel Abbey (on regular bikes…and we’re not cycling tourists): we took the bike path to P2-Velo and then walked the entire length of the boardwalk.
