Quiet campsite

Attention to the owner! It is with immense regret that we find ourselves giving the lowest possible review to this campground. We have been frequenting it for years and the children love it. This year we had our reservation email reply "We are expecting you" and then when we arrived we were kicked out for good. The reason? People who were with us last year had a disagreement over sandwiches that arrived late or with onion/no onion, we don't know and didn't understand( because it didn't concern us and little did we care). Only one of these people had the same last name as us so they thought it was us. They made us come all the way to the campsite with the trailer. They immediately verbally assaulted us over the phone at the reception desk (the owner was not on site, she did not even see our faces) because according to them " I had marked this last name and had been waiting for you for a year." Too bad they hadn't marked their name, at least not the right one apparently. To our explanation that the people in the sandwiches were not us they replied : "if you hang out with such people in any case in this camp you can no longer come". When the husband arrived we asked him to look at us, after so many years he would surely recognize us and see that it was not us. Also because according to the lady it was the husband who reported us. Too bad he threw up his hands and ran away faster than light. We find it unacceptable: - To be attacked in a bad way for something we did not do. Let him go and grumble to those directly responsible. - To have made us go all the way to the campsite, even responding to us " we are waiting for you" . Maybe if they had called us earlier we would have revealed the problem of mistaken identity and things could have been fixed - We are immensely sorry to deprive our children of one of their all-time favorite places because of those who did not have the humility to admit the mistaken identity and settle things civilly. When we told her that the children were sorry, she replied, "you have to teach the children that certain people are not to be around" . - Last year we left last and were greeted cordially, as usual, and this year we are being made to look like thugs. As a result of the response given to us we publish the reservation e-mail. To be called liars is too much, our first and last names are clearly read, even in your response. I emphasize how anomalous your response ("we are expecting you") is if indeed you had banned us from the campground a year ago.

Best campsite we stayed at in our 3 week motorhome journey around Normandy, France 🇫🇷. The staff were super good and communication was excellent.

Close to the Bois de Boulogne, we had a too shady spot and constant rain, booking over the end of the month is difficult to handle on the site, otherwise very good

Too bad that you can only give 1 star, because you have not only scammed me money (dirty zuidersee) but also everything was broken and the service is generally bottom drawer please the bungalows are not worth it and there are much better (bungalows are half made of plastic) And yes all
