Good value for money in a natural setting

First experience in a CapFun we expected better. I'd give the campsite 3 stars for value for money, but I think it's too expensive for the services on offer. The network reception is very poor on the pitches and you are offered wifi access for a fee. The pool slides (1 of which was closed) and the mini golf course are aging. We also discovered during our stay that the team has 2 lifeguards, but swimming is not supervised, which surprised me. Above all, use of the big slide is not supervised, and the fire doesn't work, which is a problem because the children don't care what they do on it (throwing themselves backwards, several at a time). The small grocery store provides the bare minimum for what it offers and the prices charged. What also justifies my rating is that when we arrived, the mobile home was supposed to be ready "from 4pm, plus or minus 1 hour" according to the contract, but we arrived at 4.45pm and didn't get the mobile home until 6.10pm, and the sheets weren't brought to us until 8pm. The cleanliness of the mobile home seemed to be borderline, and the cleaning rules ask you to shake out the blankets and fold them, which makes you wonder if they've been washed at all, since ours had a strong smell and dog hair was found on it, so we were happy that it was warm and that we didn't need them. This brings me to the question of the deposit and the inventory of fixtures. The inventory of fixtures is done by the team before and after our arrival, so we have no control over what is noted, and for the deposit a bank imprint is taken in the amount of one euro, but the amount of the accommodation deposit is not explicitly specified in the contract, only the cleaning deposit is detailed. We were not given any instructions on waste sorting, and when we asked the young lady at reception where the bio-waste station or composter was located, she gave us the impression she was speaking another language, except that bio-waste sorting has been compulsory since January 2024, and given the rural location of the campsite we were surprised that it wasn't in place. The positive points remain a shady campsite with nice play structures for children, well situated geographically to discover the Dordogne valley, but in my opinion this doesn't justify the price charged in season nor the 4-star label they defend themselves from.

Beautiful place but rude managers with whom it is not possible to talk. I have been frequenting campsites in Italy and abroad for years and never, ever have I met such aggressive and arrogant people. I specify that mine is not a judgment on the campsite but on the behavior with me by the owners. They gave us incorrect information at check in but it was not possible to explain it to the owners. In the end, we preferred to leave.

Everything was close to perfection. Little expensive , but i guess everything comes with a price. The place was nice and clean, everything was working fine.

We had a great weekend at Netl! Amazing place in a beachy style, kids loved it

Kamp Poljana - otok Lošinj se nahaja približno 4 km pred krajem Malim Lošinjem. Kamp je del turistične verige Baia Holiday, ki ima številne kampe v Italiji, Franciji in Španiji. Je ekološko voden kamp, katerega večji del leži ob prodnatem zalivu na vzhodni strani otoka, manjši del (viden s ceste) pa tudi na zahodni strani, kjer so parcele urejene na ozkem pasu med morjem in glavno cesto.

Nice, quiet setting, slightly old-fashioned facilities. Wifi still charged, it's 2024...

We were there for the 7th time this year, now under the name of Slow Village and in our opinion unfortunately no improvement. The place is still brilliant and beautiful, we come with our own caravan and are at the top of the river, great. Sanitary facilities are basically good, quiet and clean. Quiet is mainly because out of 77 pitches there are only 28 left (and 2 sanitary buildings). We have been 3 weeks, unfortunately in the last week often cold water (dishes and shower). Problems with the fridge, reported it, took a very long time for something to happen (while you get a message that they will be there within an hour). Eventually solved. Bread service is fine, 1x had something out, which is crazy if you order a day in advance. Restaurant tasty and good price, service friendly. There are now also French employees, which is fine, after all we are in France, I can make myself understood, but if it becomes difficult they can not and therefore less friendly. Unfortunately the nice animation on the terrace is gone, which my daughter loved. Unfortunately for her there was not much connection, many more small children (the campsite can't do anything about that). I also find that the management and staff are poorly visible, the old owners, but also staff regularly came across the campsite and had a chat. Visibility also important for compliance with rules. Electricity fell out every so often, but 50 cottages have been added so yes, people load their cars on the spots. By the river you have place for dogs, but people do not comply (was also poor access, due to poor mowing). Fishing only behind the dam, but they just stand among the people swimming, if you do rounds of the campground more often or put a sign with rules by the river you will see these things yourself and maybe people will listen. We get the idea that camping has really become an afterthought and so mainly only wants to earn money from the cottages, such a shame, because the place is great, but the atmosphere is no longer as it was.

Super nice, cozy and attractive campground. There is something to see or do everywhere. Highly recommended, even with small children. 🤗 we will definitely come back!
