small quiet campground, nice with small children

Excellent camping

Located on a beautiful pond where you may not fish further on in the Berkel (walking distance) but there is also no success too bad weather if you go on fishing weekend . The chairs outside you can not sit too long. The curtains in bedrooms 6cm from the window.

Wonderfully beautiful...

Great campsite with a very nice location. Do not expect a new toilet block with luxury pool but real camping. Perfect location with many beautiful walks and nice towns.

A review more for the guests than for the campground. We arrived August 14, spread the mulch tarp pulled out the tent folded everything up and left. A neighbor dropping his underwear outside to put on his costume, dogs running around between pitches without a leash, garbage flying everywhere with the wind. The pitches all dirt and stones,kept very badly. Brambles in front of the pitch. Dirt road full of potholes that if you don't have the right car you leave the oil pan there at the very least. In short, never again. Fortunately we found room elsewhere and the vacation was saved. |We felt like crying at the thought of spending a week there.

Liked: Beautiful peaceful spot, very friendly and helpful owners, restaurant food was great and there was even a tasty veggie option which is not always the case in france. Owners helped us with cycling routes sharing their app and made good suggestions for routes. Leaving felling very relaxed. Disliked: Nothing

We enjoyed staying in a luxury tent, absolutely recommended. Unfortunately the location was less pleasant and the staff, Karin and Gerda, left much to be desired in hospitality. It was disappointing that teenagers were not allowed on the swings because it was only 'für kleine Kinder'. It was also less so that we had to decide quickly on the WiFi purchase. The WiFi worked on a per device basis, which was not ideal. Fortunately, the lake was beautiful and the ping pong tables brought fun. A lack was evening entertainment for the children.

The Huttopia Landes campsite does not allow families to travel safely by bike to Lake Léon or the beaches. ||||The campsite is located on the edge of a noisy and very dangerous departmental road where cars travel at 90km/hr. To leave the campsite, you have to follow this road for 800 meters and then take the small village roads, which are limited to 70km/h. Bikes are never separated from cars. When we arrived, my wife and two children, aged 4 and 7, decided to cycle to Lake Léon. We went to the reception desk for information. The person in charge showed us the route, but didn't mention how dangerous it was or advise against it for families with children. What's more, an itinerary is indicated in the road book available to customers in the campsite lounge. ||||During the journey, we were overtaken and grazed by cars travelling at high speed. On the way back, my son ended up crying and we had to stand on the side of the road and push our bikes for a long time. We made a video because it seemed so surreal. ||||We'd like to point out that we travel in a van and that we take our bikes all over Europe, and that we're used to "wandering". ||||Following an oral complaint, then by e-mail, the campsite manager doesn't see what the problem is...No questioning, even indicating that the route is not suitable for families with young children. ||||Last remark. The pool is certainly cold because the staff don't take the time to cover it up in the evening. Our mobile home was well located, close to the playground and in a quiet spot.|The children's farm was really nice.|Enjoyable games for the kids, ice creams not too expensive.|The bread and Viennese pastries sold by the campsite are very good.|Evening entertainment average, but enough to keep the kids happy.|Pool heated, but really not hot.|Restaurant rather expensive, no evening menu including children's menu! What's more, the laundry comes out as dirty as it was before being washed!|No welcome aperitif for new arrivals: a shame. |A welcome booklet with the main tourist outings in the area would be a plus. The area is beautiful and there are lots of walks, visits and outings to do.

Popular: The park is large and mainly set up for fixed mobile homes etc.. Campers etc. in the actual sense play a subordinate role. The site is clean and made a well-kept impression. The sanitary facilities are good, and the small extra toilet for the motorhome pitches is commendable. There is a bread delivery service, but collection is only possible from 9.00 to 9.30. The restaurant on site is okay, the staff are friendly. Unpopular: The rating is no better because the motorhome pitches we stayed on were made of coarse water-permeable concrete paving and the pitches were very unpleasant. We simply didn't feel comfortable here and felt like we were standing on a platter. On Saturdays from 6.00 p.m. onwards, the campsite next door blasted us with animation music of the worst kind for a good four hours, for which the site operators were not responsible, but which was nevertheless annoying.
