We were there this weekend—two families. One arrived on Friday, and we arrived on Saturday. We stayed in tents since there was no availability in the bungalows we already knew and had stayed in before.
It was horrible—our tent was full of wasps and the other family’s was swarming with flies; it was unbearable. I understand that you’re out in nature, in the woods, and there are bound to be bugs, but we’ve been to other campgrounds and this is just not right—not like this.

Right now, the only redeeming feature of this campground is the pool, which is great for the kids.

Convenience is key. Well, to a certain extent, anyway

Booking this accommodation was a breeze; the website is intuitive and completely self-explanatory. The communication beforehand is clear; as a guest, you know exactly what to expect. Thanks to entering your license plate number in advance, there’s absolutely no human interaction upon arrival. Which, given the apocalyptic weather I arrived in, was actually an absolute blessing.

Entering the accommodation contactlessly with the PIN code emailed in advance worked flawlessly.
Trying to open that same door with my smartphone, on the other hand, turned into a complete fiasco. After repeated, desperate attempts in the pouring rain, I finally threw in the towel—which was already soaking wet from the downpour anyway.

In hindsight, of course, entering a code is much faster than fumbling with numb fingers to fish your phone out of a bag, find the app, launch it, and wait for it to connect. You just have to store that access code somewhere in your own, analog memory. And that’s exactly where the convenience of such an app comes in, you might say. Because just try remembering a code...

In short: Landal and the door system bear no blame whatsoever upon arrival; that failure was purely due to a combination of capricious weather and sheer human incompetence.

The rest of my stay for the week went relatively smoothly. Those relative problems were caused purely and simply by the aforementioned human error. Or rather, more specifically: by that same person. Me, that is.

Because although Landal does everything it can to get you into the park as efficiently as possible, they apparently didn’t take into account guests without a built-in compass. Unfortunately, the seamless entry via license plate recognition and a pre-sent PIN code doesn’t make up for the fact that I subsequently wandered around the park longer than I’d like to admit because I simply couldn’t find the exit anymore.

In short: the park is highly recommended, the technology works—now I just need my own navigation system to catch up.

A very quiet and well-kept campground with fantastic managers. If there’s a problem, they work to find a solution. The atmosphere is also great. Everyone is very friendly toward one another, and the managers set the tone for that. I definitely recommend this place.

It's a wonderful place where you can enjoy some great fishing and unwind after a busy stretch in your daily life. You'll feel like you're completely somewhere else for a while and come back feeling like a new person.

Für uns Radler mit Zelt haben wir einige Schwachpunkte aufgeführt, die für unsere Nachfolger vielleicht verbesser werden
- dieEntfernung zum Strand ist fußläufig extrem nervig an der Straße 20min, da hilft uch die überfüllte Tschutschubahn nicht wirklich
-Ladestellen für E-bike oderHandy sind nicht vorhanden
- im Sanitär fehlen die Haken
- Sitzgelegenheiten sind in den Zeltbereichen nicht vorhanden
- nervige Müll- und sinnlose Pflegearbeiten um 6Uhr morgens

und dazu noch viel zu teuer über 40€/Person

We had a wonderful family vacation at Camping des Genêts, where we stayed in a tent. The campsites are spacious, pleasant, and beautifully set in a wooded area. The many trees add a lot of charm to the campground and provide shade, which is really nice when camping in a tent.

We really liked the campground’s overall atmosphere: friendly, family-oriented, and relaxing. It’s a place where you feel right at home, with areas designed with both parents and children in mind.

The restaurant was also a very pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the daily specials—simple, tasty, and generous portions. It’s always nice to be able to eat well on-site without having to leave the campground.

The areas dedicated to children are really well thought out. Between the playgrounds, the pool, and the activities on the lake, they have more than enough to keep them entertained. The pool is very pleasant, and the activities on the lake are a real bonus: the kids had a blast, and so did we.

We highly recommend Camping des Genêts to families looking for a pleasant, nature-oriented, friendly, and well-equipped campground to enjoy a wonderful vacation.
