A campground that stands out for its cleanliness and the amenities it offers (bar, restaurant). The owners gave us a warm welcome. Very spacious, well-shaded sites (over 100 m²). The restrooms are exceptionally clean (thoroughly cleaned). Security is top-notch (you can’t get in without a code, even on foot).A superb pool where you can relax in the shade. And to top it all off, exceptional value for money compared to other 3-star campsites (€20.50 for a site for 2 people with electricity). I highly recommend this campsite. Personally, I plan to return.

A medium-sized campground—neither too big nor too small. The sites are large (80–100 m²) but there’s no separation from the neighbor behind you.
A definite plus: the Freecamp cabins on the sites, which feature a kitchen area (sink, induction cooktop) and a bathroom area (toilet, sink, shower). Brand new and very nice.
A campground by the sea, close to the trail that runs along the coast. Convenient for hiking

My boyfriend and I stayed at this property this past weekend, along with another couple and our two little dogs. We stayed in the “Lodge Confort Ensuite” room type because we preferred a more modern decor. The cottage was small but had all the amenities: two bathrooms with showers, two bedrooms, a very nice living room/kitchen, and a spacious veranda. The standout feature was definitely the cleanliness—everything was spotless. The kitchen, by the way, was fully equipped with everything—plates, pots, even a moka pot. The resort is really large and even has a Despar supermarket on-site. Plus, the abundance of trees and greenery meant we could breathe deeply and, for a few days, forget about the scorching heat we’ve been experiencing lately. In the evening, it was heavenly to sit on the veranda. While we were satisfied and enthusiastic about everything mentioned so far, unfortunately there were a few downsides. We had a very unpleasant surprise regarding the “sea,” which can be described as anything but a sea. We love going to the Lido degli Estensi, where the water is clean and even has little fish swimming in it. The resort’s beach, on the other hand, is situated along a very narrow stretch of coastline—a miniature cove—entirely enclosed by a barrier of wooden posts which, combined with other factors, makes the water putrid and stagnant. We had paid in advance for the beach, reserving two spots for our entire stay, but as soon as we arrived at the beach, we packed up our things and left. In this regard, as with everything else, special recognition goes to the girls at the front desk—especially Ilaria—who were immediately very kind, attentive, and efficient in handling guests and resolving even this issue, refunding our beach fees and allowing us to use the money for other purposes. One aspect that left us very dissatisfied, unfortunately, was the dog pool and grooming services. The dog pool, which could be reserved for a fee, was unfortunately filthy; the water stank, and the entire surrounding area was visibly neglected. It was obvious that it wasn’t being maintained at all or cleaned daily, which is extremely serious because bacteria can proliferate, and under those conditions, no owner would feel comfortable letting their dog swim there or sharing the pool with them. The grooming area, although free, should follow the same cleaning protocol; otherwise, given the stench that characterized it and the condition of its various components, it becomes more of a source of inconvenience than a service. Not to mention that the hot water ran out while I was grooming one of the two small dogs, leaving me with the choice of either taking him away with the shampoo still half on him or rinsing him off with cold water. Overall, it was a pleasant weekend, thanks mainly to the relief provided by the mild temperatures there and the kindness and efficiency of the reception staff— reasons why we would return; however, given the shortcomings mentioned—especially those regarding the cleanliness of the dog areas, which are very important to us—I honestly don’t know if a 4-star campground is justified.
Once again, congratulations to the staff—who, though not responsible for these issues, carry out their work with warmth and professionalism, always aiming for customer satisfaction.

The lady at the front desk was so sweet. I’d read online that you could get a day pass, but apparently that’s only available if you’re visiting people staying at the campground. And yet, she still let us come in for a bit with the kids. So sweet!

Echt lief!

Our experience was quite disappointing. The bungalow was extremely small and uncomfortable for a family with a 2-year-old girl and a dog. Inside, there was no dining table, just a bar with high stools, which were not at all practical with a small child. The only “sofa” was a beanbag that took up almost all the space. The table was on the terrace, but with the heat, it was impossible to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner outside, so we had to bring it inside the bungalow.

The rooms were very cramped, and the one upstairs was practically unusable due to the heat and lack of space.

The campground isn’t designed for families with young children: there were no children’s activities, the restaurant was closed for most of our stay, and the supermarket had very limited hours and exorbitant prices.

The only highlight was the bathroom, which was fine. Overall, based on the accommodations, the services, and the value for money, we wouldn’t return.

The campground is great for families. The “Oehoe” field has several playground structures surrounded by sand. Since the cars are parked in the lot, the children can play freely and safely. The owners are very hospitable—they even brought the pastries right to our tent in the morning!

The restrooms are absolutely wonderful! They’re clean, and you can shower for as long as you want—just keep pressing the button, and the hot water immediately flushes the shower. There are also family showers.

The swimming area is fantastic and clean. The big and small mini-fish are fantastic! You’re welcome to use the pedal boat for a spin around the lake. At the pavilion, you can order a snack when you’re thirsty from all that swimming.

It’s a nice campground without too much fuss. Perfect for a young family!
