What a wonderful beautiful and tight lawn. On the former pig farm is, a very quiet mini camping created. There is something for everyone. In front a large swimming pond with a playground for small children. More in the back of the meadow at the edge of the forest, it is very good for the elderly who love peace and quiet. There you really have no trouble with the children, who are busy in the swimming pond. The sanitary building is nicely decorated with authentic parts of the pigsty. For example, the old drinking troughs have been changed into attractive lamps. The plumbing is clean and very well cared for, there is also a washing machine available. The site is adequately lit at night. The owner (thijs) very friendly and helpful. No reception present, call on arrival. You may find your own place by a green sign with a nr standing in the ground. Outside the vacations, this is the place, if you are older and love nature and tranquility. Very worthwhile, and we will definitely come back.

Good location

Lovely campsite with very friendly staff. Excellent facilities and beautiful surroundings. Pitches are large and grassy with mature trees. There is a lake adjacent to the site with a small restaurant. Small town about a mile away, easy to walk to. From there you can get a bus to Nante. Highly recommended

Very green area yet in the middle of the village. Pleasantly separated pitches. Feeling of space and sanitary facilities very regularly cleaned. Pleasant, helpful staff. I recommend this place for children up to 10/12 years old...

Unfortunately the sanitary facilities are very disgusting. Complained several times and no change. It would be nice if it was brought up to scratch. A few photos of the current state. Unfortunately never again.

Accommodations, surroundings, opportunities

Mobilhome without air conditioning or fan. A shame with the heat, but the nights were cool. Swimming pool large and open for long hours. Disappointed by the grocery snack store, but the campsite restaurant was very good. Too bad it's far from Souillac and we have to take the car, but that's okay when you expect it.

As a family, the distances are too far/without a bike it is not possible; the toilets have no glasses and no toilet paper; the beach is 15 min walk away from the campsite; the playgrounds are full in the sun and very small; there was a lot of dirt on the pitch - there is no control here; water is very far away to fetch; hardly any green areas for dogs outside; all in all recommended for families with small children and dogs.

Only took an hour and was a lovely ride Large private pitches with own electric and water tap Disliked: Only 3 showers in ladies block. Had to queue for a shower each morning No supermarket on site. Arrive fully stocked up

Incredible place. Very kind people all around. Very friendly staff. Super clean camping. clean bungalows. In the middle of the forest. Yes you think you are in the Netherlands. I still didn’t believe it until i saw it but they were all very kind. Just note that non NL kids won’t enjoy the club and the shows as much! They should just bring their own friends i guess like we did :). The pool is kept very clean. Aquagym was done by 2 very dynamic and friendly people and the kids were SO into it. The vibe is just amazing in Birkelt. And cherry on the cake: our car did not start when we tried to leave. We asked reception for help. Maintenance arrived and saved the day. No insurance needed.|5 star camping for a 5star service!!

Nice green camping close to Luxembourg city.:||- Friendly Italian and Dutch staff|- Clean|- Spaceous campsites|- Great kids entertainment|- Not cheap|- Indoor and outdoor pool|- Soccer pitch|- Nice surroundings for hiking|- Free public transport, like train to Luxembourg!||We arrived with heavy rain. We could not put up our trailertent. Donna, at the check-in desk, arranged a night for us in a trailer. Great solution for a reasonable price. We are likelt to come again.

Super fun family campground! Ideal for families with children. Friendly staff and well maintained, green campsite. Beautifully situated in a forest. For children there is a lot to do and experience. Especially the swimming pool is a must. Also the BMX track is very cool! Since this month there is also a beautiful, renovated sanitary block. An absolute must!
