Very nice campsite in the Vosges and managed by a friendly and hospitable Dutch couple. Upon arrival you are offered a cup of coffee, which really says it all. Campsite has 120 pitches and rents out 20 mobile homes and 14 tents and bungalow tents. You can also rent mobile homes and tents through Vacansoleil. At the reception you can order baguettes. There is a small restaurant with a small terrace. Nice sanitary facilities and small playground. Campsite is situated at Lac des Messires and at the campsite you can borrow canoes for free and there are several sunbeds around the lake. Bring your own inflatable boat as the canoes are quickly occupied. You may also swim in the lake. You can walk around the water and if you are lucky you can spot a beaver, as there is a beaver pair living in the lake. Supermarkets nearby are Aldi, Lidl and Intermarché in Bruyères. Fun sights: Sweets factories Confiserie des Hautes Vosges & La Confiserie Bressaude, Toboggan runs on rails Schlitte Mountain, d'été du Markstein, Luge sur rail Lautenbach and Luge 4 Saisons Le Bonhomme, Boat rental on Lac de Gerardmer & Lac de Longemer, Stuwmeer Lac de Kruth Wildenstein, Waterfalls of Tendon, Lac Blanc, Panoramic Route de Crêtes, View Tower Tour de l'Avison and highest point Vosges the Grand Ballon. If you want to drive further: Falconer La Volerie des Aigles, Monkey Park La Montagne des Singes and Butterfly Garden Jardin des Papillons (these 3 you can also combine together we did). This campsite we would like to visit again.

Midden in de natuur, en beseffen dat je met weinig echt heel tevreden kan zijn :) en de hottub was het kersje op de taart! :)

Top week had.👍 Very cozy, had a lot of fun at the campsite and great hiking. My daughters, 11 and 15, want to go again next year

Beautiful location, small scale, fine, friendly and personal atmosphere

Beautiful campground in hilly terrain. Very spacious sites in often beautiful locations. Good sanitary facilities. Dutch owners do their best to make the guests comfortable. Upon arrival you REALLY have to wait in front of the barrier until you sign in. Despite the many signs, this message was not entirely clear to us. The area, the Suedheide, is gently rolling. It is more of a hiking than a biking environment. Don't expect the quality bike paths like on the Veluwe. With an MTB you can get by better in woods and heath than on a normal bike or e-bike. The most hilly part of the Lueneburg Heath with the Wilseder Berg is still a bit away (40 km).

A vivid production of sheep's cheese. I bought the raw Mett sausages. Very, very tasty.

Family campsite close to the center of Bozel. Various activities on the campsite and nearby. Very quiet and relaxing! The bands for the evening concerts are top-notch! We really enjoyed it!
